Had a neck epidural done for my neuropathy pain. The procedure went well, but Im guessing I'm a rare person since I had a series of complications that are still continuing today (numbness in back of throat, hand grip strength is at a loss at times, heaviness in arms and legs, imbalance when trying to walk). I was told that epidurals are not always a one and done, meaning they dont always work for everyone and they do come with risks. I recently became a patient at Coast Injury Medicine and had a really great experience. The office was very clean, which is very important to me, and everyone was so welcoming. Kierra medical assistant, was an absolute sweetheart and made me feel very comfortable with her bubbly personality. Dr. Batta was very knowledgeable, and I never felt rushed. He sat down, took his time, listened, and explained what my body is going through after my accident. He showed me pictures and used a spine mannequin to explain where my pain is coming from and went over my treatment plan and recommendations.
