This was my first experience not only at Ethereal Muse, but also my first experience with getting my brows shaped and tinted, legs waxed, as well as an acne facial! Maddy did such a great job explaining everything to ensure I was comfortable, and made my experience amazing. I felt like a whole new person afterward! Her scalp and neck massage add on was worth its weight in gold as well! From being greeted at the door with refreshments, to leaving with refreshments and a goodie bag, my entire experience was wonderful with the friendliest staff. I hope to become a regular here!
Joan was amazing! She was the first massage therapist in a long time who truly provided a full-body massage that effectively loosened my very tight and achy neck and shoulders. I'm hooked! I’ll be booking a 90-minute massage every two weeks and then transitioning to monthly sessions.

I felt compelled to write a review because when I was in to pick up my clothes, there was a really rude customer… and I felt like the review they might write would paint a really unfair picture. I hate seeing small, local businesses get treated this way.
We’ve brought in a bunch of bridesmaids dresses to get hemmed last year and they nailed it. The hemming was flawless and the perfect height. We’ve gone back since for suits and other formal stuff, and everything always comes back clean quick. It’s been under new management for about a year now and you can tell…things feel more organized and smooth. The owner is really sweet and easy to work with, which makes a big plus. We love supporting local spots like this and will definitely keep coming back. I would honestly ignore old bad reviews. Not fair to the new management!

However, how I left feeling after my extensions were installed, trimmed to blend and styled is hard to put into words. I have fine wavy/curly hair and am growing out my natural color after nearly 2 decades of blonding. I’ve struggled to find a good balance between quality and price in Olympia, but OlyCurl delivers. The initial cost is pricey, but it includes a lot of information and training. I like that they offer bang trims for $8 that you can do in between full on cuts. All of the products that were recommended to me were the same price as what I was paying for my hair products from Ulta (which claimed to be good for curls but had a lot of hidden, harmful additives). I also double checked their product prices against the manufacturers websites, and they don’t upcharge at all! Since my haircut, I’ve had less shedding, more curls, and spend less time and heat styling. I was initially worried about getting a curly cut since my hair is usually wavy at best, but they made me feel very comfortable and like I was in the right place! They really emphasized being proud of one’s own hair texture and not comparing to others.

I am leaving for vacation next weekend (short notice, I know) and needed some root touch ups (bleach and tone) and fix some previous banding. I should have bought a lottery ticket today, as she was able to get me in right then. Her and Jen took care of me and I am more than pleased with the results. I have a bit of social anxiety and they made me feel welcome and we had great conversation. I booked my next touch up and will continue using their services. Royetta did a great job retwisting my wicks and cutting my hair this week! It's business as usual: she's my go-to person for haircuts and styling.
She started my wicks (by bundling my locs) last month. A consummate professional, she made a point of letting me know that the appointment would be more painful than usual. That way, when she did restart my wicks, I wasn't surprised by the pain.
Every time I come to see her, she makes great conversation while she performs her craft. Come to see her and you'll leave looking good!

Fantastic haircut and beard trim! I hadn't had a haircut since the pandemic, and things were way overgrown, but Tammy got to work and by the end I felt like a new man! I love the atmosphere and vibe of the place, the workers are friendly and the tunes are groovy. It's a very Olympia place, and a wonderful place to get your hair cut.
Great attention to detail and offered many solutions to one who was fully unsure of what haircut to get at the time.
Clean lines, lined up beard trimming, offered perfect amount of conversation that was not pushy in any way to make the whole experience comfortable.
Atmosphere is very laid back low stress, comfortable enough seating area if needing to wait, and a very short walk from the parking spaces.
Call to make reservations will make the transaction much smoother, does take card for payment as well.

I went for the first time to Milo’s Barbershop yesterday. I have seen most barbers and haircut places for men’s haircuts in the Olympia area and all have butchered my hair cut or could not figure out how to properly cut my hair. I saw Cooper and I was blown away. I was very impressed by the fade and overall haircut. Nothing to complain about. All the barbers were friendly and welcoming and it was a positive and pleasant experience. Will be going back for future haircuts. 11/10 recommend!

This is my favorite tanning salon . The Olympia location. Every single person that works there is always so polite and friendly , they are great at making me feel comfortable and welcome. They are also really great at selling sessions lol . They aren’t pushy though but they always take the time to search for the best deal and work with me . I spend money I didn’t plan to but I don’t leave with regrets or buyers remorse .. I’m not working very much right now so money is tight and being able to go there and treat myself here and there makes all the difference in the world. Thank you all !

Karen does a FANTASTIC job. I am not one to get my nails done. I work with my hands, and am always breaking my natural nails on everything. I wanted to start a nail-care journey, because I was so tired of my brittle nails, but I had no idea where to go.

I have severe arthritis and Kelly was very gentle! Two months out from foot surgery and she was careful. I did not have one painful moment. You need to make an appt, but it’s worth it. Kelly is now my nail person. Shed’s also very kind.

I came in today as a walk-in and asked for sharp nails that looked like a weapon. My nail tech spent good time perfecting the shape and how sharp they were while making sure I was comfortable and regularly checking if I liked the look. Once we were done they offered to take the pictures for me. I am very happy with how they came out and I love how sharp they are. Staff are talented, always polite and accommodating. got the volcano spa this evening. hadn't had a pedicure in awhile and this was by far the best pedicure I've ever had! I felt like my feet turned to butter in the hands of the skilled staff here. I had just injured my ankle and the foot soak, hot rock massage and orange ? salt scrub was heavenly. I will definitely recommend this nail salon to everyone!

For my most recent set I showed them a picture and the design was replicated almost perfectly. High quality, great customer service, and reasonable pricing!

Madison has been my hairstylist since last summer. I see her every 6ish weeks since I started seeing her and I’ve been happy with my services every time. I’ve had one incident that I wasn’t totally happy with the outcome (nothing serious, just missed some grays) and she fixed it immediately and graciously. She’s super down to earth and easy to talk to about literally anything, while also remaining professional. I love her personality and how she listens to what you want and shares with you what she thinks is best for the health of your hair if you’re someone with compromised hair quality. She’s very accommodating. I like the small and personable studio space she works out of, it really takes away that snarky vibes some salons have. The space is small but imo it is accessible to people who may have mobility issues.
I’ve honestly never seen a hairstylist this many times in a row, I feel like I’ve finally found my permanent hairstylist with Madison. I really feel like I can be myself in her space and I am always happy with the results. I trust her judgment and skills knowing what’s best for my hair. I highly recommend her.

I wanted something natural, but enhancing of my natural lashes basically to be able and skip mascara and still have that put together look. She is gentle, precise and skilled. I love them so much!
I booked a nail and brow appt. the morning of an event, so I came in as a bundle of nerves. However, I left feeling completely at ease with how wonderfully the appointment had gone! I gave her a slight idea on where to start for my nails, but told her to do whatever she wanted, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! They got complimented within ten minutes of leaving! I was offered some refreshments at the beginning, and so I got to enjoy a cup of hot tea for my early morning nails. She takes her time to perfect her craft, and does not charge by the hour. You’re not rushed in and out, to get in as many clients as possible, in comparison to many other salons I’ve been to. You will not feel like a transaction, you will feel like a guest :) she puts her time and care into what she does, and I will 1000% be returning!

Spruce was the first place I noticed when I moved to Olympia 4 years ago. I’ve been getting my brow tints there ever since. The staff are just lovely and the esthetician are knowledgeable and very helpful. My facial during the Glow event was so relaxing. I ❤️ that they carry the Color Science products but I think my most favorite thing is the Spuce Oil. It is my go to moisturizer.

I found Jill Lynn during my wig journey. I was looking on youtube for wig reviews and found her videos. I truly love how she goes indepth on her wig videos and shares her experience and knowledge on how to wear them and how to style and take care of them. I also enjoy her makeup videos and tips. And I really enjoy her Sunday vlogs. She is such a sweet and kind lady.
I have tried other lash and beauty places. Nobody compares to Khane and her team. With lash extensions, she carefully creates the perfect lash design for your eye type. She really is an artist. She is very patient and attentive. I have went to other beauticians and nobody has more attention to detail than Khane. I also get my brows tinted with her. I have seen her and her students work with microblading and lashes and it always looks phenomenal. I wouldn't trust another artist with anything to do with my eyes. She has always been super friendly and willing to answer any questions I have. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She is super driven and I'm super excited to see the future for her and her business. She is very dependable, and has always gave the proper amount of notice if she needed to cancel. The one time she did cancel she did because she was sick, which was the responsible thing to do, and she always fit me in soon after. Khane is by far the best artist in Thurston County!

I did the first time free eyebrow wax and had an amazing experience. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I loved chatting with my waxer during my appointment. They shaped my slightly chaotic regrowth from shaved brows growing back wonderfully. I wanted thin brows and I really appreciated that my waxer let me check in on what she had done and decide if I wanted to go thinner or not. I love how they turned out. I was a little worried that because it was a free service that there would be some pushy sales afterward, but my waxer just suggested a product that fit a need I had and showed me where I could find it if I wanted it. I will definitely be returning for other waxing services!

This is a wonderful little spot. My sister and I have been seeing Heather for YEARS, before she opened her own day spa. It is so cutely decorated and peaceful in here, and Heather is SO sweet. She really takes care of her clients. She's been in the field a long time so her appointments are quick and efficient, but thorough.
There was a mix up with my appointment so I could not see my regular stylist. However, the front desk staff was very apologetic and helpful and got me in with another stylist who did a great job. Their system is wonky so if you are driving a distance like me, double check the appointment before heading out. Don’t trust the text message, call them to confirm.
A coworker recommended this salon to me after a Bellevue salon absolutely fried my hair. I called them in tears and Jen, the owner, assured me that Mike, a master colorist, could help me. She even asked Mike to squeeze me in that afternoon, which he did. That was a snowy winter day 6 years ago and today I can say that my hair has never looked better, thanks to Mike!!
Mike did fix my color and butchered cut that day and I left happy knowing that the perfect salon and colorist does exist.

I can't recommend Vanessa enough. I have been tattooed by her 6 times and she's done an excellent job every time and is overall just nice to be around. She can turn your weird sketch into a piece of art, something that exceeds your expectations. One time I started feeling nauseous during an appointment and she was nothing but caring and prioritized my wellbeing. My 65 year old mom who has no tattoos even says 'your tattoo artist does such nice work, she is so talented' when I show her my new tattoos from Vanessa.
Booking with Olympia Tattoo co is very easy, they are very communicative and will send text reminders for appointments. The studio is clean, easy to find, has plenty of street parking, has a good bathroom. Everyone that works there seems nice and professional and it has a welcoming atmosphere.

Originally I purchase my wife a gift card for my wife to get a pretty specific tattoo that was very special to her. I was kinda of nervous as I did my research that I would pick a tattoo artist whose style aligned with the design she had in mind. Travis nailed it! I was so impressed and my wife was absolutely thrilled with how the tattoo turned out. We went back to get small matching tattoos for our son. I love the vibe of this shop, Travis is super friendly and is just a really cool guy. 10/10 would recommend.

We had leak in our main waterline in our front yard. Jones Underground was quick and efficient and a pleasure to work with. And were very reasonably priced, about a third of what the big local plumbing company quoted us for this repair. They have the right equipment for underground work and were able to bore under our concrete driveway in order to avoid digging it up. They also use all of the top of the line fittings. I highly recommend Jones Underground for all of your underground utility needs.

I had plumb line come in to fix a leak today. They were quick friendly and reasonably priced. I paid under $200 for the service. I had them install a tub surround and a shower (separate units and it was $7000.00. I had other companies bid the same job for $10,000 more than plumb line. I also had that other company fix a repair just like I had done today, and Olympic plumbing technologies charged to 3 times what I paid today. Thank you for being fair and honest especially before Christmas.

Mr. Electric of Olympia and electrician James Love saved the day today, Christmas eve. This morning, our downdraft arc'd creating a pop and smoke from it's electrical outlet. After calls to 3 other companies who were unable to assist us today, Josie at Mr. Electric scheduled our service. In less than an hour, James was at our house. He provided a very reasonable quote for diagnostics and quickly got to work. James was able to identify our problem, what we needed to do to correct it, and provide assurance that our power was safe and ready to use minus the offending appliance. James was very personable, efficient, and took great care of our home. He was able to identify potential issues we should address, provide helpful information regarding what to look for with future remodels, and a timely quote should we wish to schedule an appointment to address the non-urgent issues. When mold appeared in my dryer vent line, I reached out to this service for help. Their mold cleaning team was very professional from the beginning. In the middle of the appointment, Ralph explained how their mold removal and mold remediation services eliminate mold spores and help prevent future buildup. The technicians worked efficiently and inspected the entire ventilation system to ensure everything was properly cleaned. They also kept the work area neat throughout the process. The tree was removed safely, the stump were completely ground down, and they cleaned well afterwards. They showed up when promised, communicated clearly, and their pricing was great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing tree work done. He was even so kind to accommodate a few extra request.

Erik did an amazing job rescuing our kitten who decided to climb 60’+ up a cherry tree and get stuck. He was able to do it the same day as the service call! We are very thankful for his skills and abilities!
We have had several occurrences of trees whose conditions were questionable, and we have called Shawn each time for his assessment and guidance. His concern for matters of our safety, his attention to detail, and his ultimate execution of the work is superior! He definitely knows what he's talking about and knows how to do it!
One extra special reason for our delight of his services is his compassion. We had a huge maple tree that was a central focus of our property, but it had developed a dangerous level of rot that had the potential of turning catastrophic if it remained. Shawn confirmed the extent of the rot, but then told us that even though he loved that tree and wished he could offer any solution to keep it, our safety was his first priority! We stood there for a long time pondering the beauty of that tree just prior to taking it down. Sad, but comforting to know that we don't have to worry about it anymore.

Dr. McDonald and his team have taken great care of me over the years, especially after I lost a front tooth in a soccer accident. The implant process was smooth, and I always felt informed and supported.
At a later visit, Dr. MacDonald noticed that the cosmetic result of the implant wasn’t as aesthetically pleasing as it could be. He offered to improve it, free of charge. I was pretty shocked, but also grateful. He replaced the crown and carefully customized the color and detail so it blends naturally. The difference is incredible.
His attention to detail and commitment to quality really stand out. I’m getting married soon and feel completely confident smiling in my photos…priceless! I’m very grateful for the care and professionalism at this practice from everyone. Highly recommend!

He helped me through a slipped disk, corrected my SI joint post partum, performed scraping on my arms and neck to relieve my nerve pain, ribs out of place, and always had a way to relax me upon arrival. I also have a very busy schedule, so it is nice to have a chiropractor that I can run in and see when its convienient. I am very grateful for all of the care provided by Dr. Soran. More people should explore the science & abilities of a chiropractor. All of these issues at a doctors clinic would be multiple xrays, visits, referrals, and tons of money, when chiropractic is strait to the point, no extra radiation, no pills, no run around. just direct and strait to the point care. I highly recommend this clinic!
I’m an older guy who has seen plenty of doctors over the years, and I don’t give praise lightly. Dr. Wendy is the real deal.
She takes the time to listen, explains what’s going on in plain English, and treats you like a person, not a number. Her care is thoughtful, conservative, and incredibly effective. I’ve had less pain, better movement, and more confidence in my health since seeing her.

I wanted to share a little experience that turned out to be surprisingly uplifting. I walked in feeling skeptical, dealing with stiffness in my back and occasional neck pain. But after my visit, I left feeling educated, more relaxed, and truly comfortable. Getting aligned has made a noticeable difference, and the way everything was explained to me made the whole process delightful.
The professionalism I encountered was impressive, and honestly, I never get bored going there. It’s actually something I look forward to! I even missed an appointment once, and was shocked (and pleased) to receive a call the very next day to reschedule. That kind of care means a lot. It presented that the provider cares.
What really stands out is the kindness and welcoming atmosphere. The doctor is down to earth, funny, and tailors the experience to your personality—enough to make anyone feel at ease.

I’ve been coming to see Vince for a couple of months now, and I’m so glad I did!!
I mainly sit and am on the computer all day for my job, and have an 18 mos old baby. Although I stretch throughout the day, my back often feels tight and sore.
I was looking for an office close to my home and Vince’s office just so happens to be around the corner from me.
My work hours are later most days, and Vince has a schedule that worked well for me so I decided to come see him. He’s available Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, 3 pm - 6 pm.
I came in for my first visit and consultation, and after one adjustment and I knew I was definitely coming back!
He was very attentive to the areas I let him know bothered me the most, and after the adjustment I was able to take a deep breath and feel relief!
His office is easy to stop in, and hours available I find are good times. His prices are reasonable and I would highly recommend anyone needing chiropractic care, to stop by and meet Vince!
I leave there everytime feeling great, and also look forward to my next visits with him!

My dog lost her left eye to acute glaucoma. It was sudden, her vision was gone and hereye had to be re.oved and was, by a different ophthalmologist. With the right eye at risk, I wanted her to be seen by an ophthalmologist who would do everything possible to save her vision so I made an appointment with Dr. Brantman. She was very thorough and made sure I understood the emergency protocol should my girl's situation require it. A few days after our initial appointment, I thought I saw some changes in my girl's eye. I was able to contact the office and get advice in a timely manner. Medication changes were made and we were seen back in the office 2 days later. My pup's eye stabilized and we will be followed closely. I'm so impressed with Dr. Brandon. She is wonderful, compassionate, clearly highly capable and very dedicated.

I was immediately impressed! I found a wounded kitty on the side of Steamboat Island Road who needed immediate help. It was almost 6pm on a Friday eve. I drove there and the door was locked, but I knocked anyway. Two very friendly techs answered the door. I explained the situation and they could see how upset I was. Even though they didn't have a vet there, they took the kitty in and told me they would make it comfortable until the vet could examine him in the morning. I was so appreciative of their professionalism and compassion!
The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Cheddar requires special handling and they make the exam fear free and safe for everyone.
I took my sweet boxer, Lucy, to Dr. Bob and I will never forget how much he and his sweetheart daughter, Vikki, helped her. Gosh, it was about 14 years ago now, but their kindness and love never left me.My Lucy was rescued from a puppy mill, she was a mom who'd been forced to breed far too much. She had a myriad of struggles and Dr. Bob walked me through them all.At one appointment, my POTS acted up, and I accidentally fainted while in the clinic. Vikki picked up my little 3 year old daughter and sang to her while I came to, brought me water and a muffin, and kept her calm. Meanwhile, Dr. Bob kept caring for Lucy.They made sure everyone was safe and taken care of.The awful day that I had to let Lucy go, Doctor Bob stayed with Lucy and I. I was unable to speak, and struggled to do anything other than rub her sweet ears and cry. He understood that and talked with her about the beautiful rainbow bridge it was time for her to cross. How there was a nice little stream with water that was good to drink and how there was lots of grass to play in. She could chase squirrels and the sun was always shining. He essentially walked her home with me. I still hear his voice comforting us, and when my soul aches for her, I remember where my Lucy girl is.He also was my kitty's doctor from the day I brought her home for 10 years. She's been around since before Lucy. She is still spry and healthy and I attribute that to her excellent health care for the first half of her life and the advice Dr. Bob gave me about proper kitty care. She's 17.5 years old.If I still lived in the state, Dr Bob would be the only vet I would ever use.He really truly loves the animals he helps. I'll never be able to thank them enough.
Evergreen has been my veterinarian for almost 5 years now and has been the Vets I have ever had. They are all great,The technicians also. Samantha and Donna at the front are very nice and caring. Dr Rosie is my main Veterinarian. She is an excellent surgeon also. Thank you Dr Rosie for guiding us and giving our Obea more quality of life and helping us in such a loving compassionate on aiding her to gross over the rainbow bridge to run free again. You loved her so much. I experienced this all my life and never easy. You made it peaceful and cried with us. The chocolate kisses made it special. I love you all. My soulmate of 13 years started to decline. Navigating our vet and emergency vet brought on a lot of loneliness as symptoms were a little vague and they’re so busy. We landed at OVS oncology thinking we’d lose her that day based on her worsened condition and X-rays. The team were immediately warm and comforting which was absolutely incredible despite my relentless feeling of doom.
She went through a scary situation some hours later. Dr. Parshley contacted me immediately with digestible information on what happened, next steps, and possible outcomes. You can tell when people put their entire soul into their craft, and this office is full of those people.
They have been such a bright spot in one of my most frightening moments and have made so many hours hanging in the unknown comfortable. You don’t get many vet experiences like this and I’m extremely grateful.

Sunny is the best, she has been grooming our dogs for over 10 years, she is detailed, attentive and gentle, she has a special way with dogs, both Sydney and Lola love visiting Sunny, on Sydney’s visit today at her grooming appointment,she was so excited to see Sunny, she ran to Sunny with her tail wagging and full of excitement she was so happy to see Sunny that she had a small piddle on the floor. Now that’s the best review a dog can give.we are so grateful that Sunny is our groomer,we know our pets are loved and cared for when they are with her.

We started off by chatting about areas to focus on, a bit of chit chat, then we got right down to business. The massage was so good I fell asleep on the table several times and felt relaxed and glowing hours afterwards.

Sharon is such a sweet and wonderful person, very easy to talk to and she knows the body so well. The intra-oral massage is intense but it is so worth it! She made me feel so relaxed and i felt lighter as i walked out. As the others have said her pressure is good and consistent.
Scott knows what's up. If you're heavily training and working out Scott will help you out. I consider myself someone who needs a high pressure massage and nobody has ever been able to give me enough pressure, except for Scott. The space is also pretty great as it's inside of a gym. Super thankful to have stumbled across him and looking forward to going back.

This was the only school where I passed my driving test. I failed twice at another school, and that experience left me feeling discouraged because I faced a lot of judgment there. The instructor at this school, however, was quiet, patient, and supportive, which made a big difference. I’m really grateful for that. I passed my knowledge test on the first try and my driving test on the first attempt here. This school gave me hope, confidence, and a fresh start.
