Althea’s Hair Design is a special salon. You are the only customer when you have your hair done, so you are not surrounded by other people. Althea’s place is conveniently located a few blocks from Ralph’s on the East Side with easy parking. Althea is a very experienced hair stylist and an excellent colorist. I have had my hair done at high end salons in Manhattan and Beverly Hills, and I’ve never had a better cut and color. I highly recommend her.

I had a great haircut today by Althea. I asked what would look good with my face and said I like low maintenance and rarely use products, but occasionally like to get out the flat iron. She made a great suggestion. I said yes and off we went. It turned out so great!! I love it.

My daughter was with and asked if she could get her haircut also. I asked if Althea had the time and she said yes. She gave my daughter a great haircut also!

Althea is amazing! I have been seeing her since I was 14 and she is the absolute best with thick, wavy, hair. I am so thankful for her, she saved my hair 20 years ago and I am forever her devoted client. She is highly skilled and knows hair like none other. I get so many compliments.
