I have a 1939 house that has a lot of remodel work done over many years. Garth replaced the last of the galvanized pipes, which were causing my washing machine overflow to back up. Even though it wasn't an emergency they made a special effort to get here sooner than their schedule really allowed. I also had that other company fix a repair just like I had done today, and Olympic plumbing technologies charged to 3 times what I paid today.
