I’ve been going to Legend Nail Spa in Sterling for almost two years now, and I genuinely won’t go anywhere else. The salon is always spotless, welcoming, and professional, and the quality of their work is consistently amazing.
What stands out most to me is how durable my nails are after every visit. I’m extremely hard on my hands — I play volleyball, clean constantly, take care of dogs, and do everything around the house — and in the past I would break or chip nails within a couple of weeks no matter where I went. At Legend Nail Spa, my nails regularly last close to a month without needing repairs, which has honestly never happened for me before. Their work quality is exceptional.
Richard is fun, friendly, funny, and incredibly precise with nails, and Nicole does a fantastic job as well. The technicians are flexible, skilled, and genuinely care about doing great work. They also offer wonderful pedicure options with relaxing spa-style add-ons, and I love the little extras they include, like a quick back massage after your nail service.

It’s hard to find a better Taekwondo school for kids than Tigerden. The children absolutely love it, and the Masters are very professional. Each class is well-organized, and they do a great job helping kids learn while having fun. All the Taekwondo Masters and staff are kind and do their best to help the kids grow and improve. I highly recommend this place!

I was passing the town for work and felt terrible due to the long drive so I scanned thru Google for a massage and this place popped up. I went in mid afternoon. Gotta say very nice service. Cici was my masseuse. Good job on the massage, back walk felt great and massage was slow and unrushed with good presure as i had instructed. And finished off with a good bite next door afterwards. I have been going to this hair salon for many years now and love all of the stylists there but I recently got my hair done with Ritzwan and I am extremely happy with his work and my hair. Edit: Tammy is no longer there and has returned to her previous salon. I'm new to Avalon, but not new to Tammy. She's been doing my nails for years! I love how she makes them look so natural. I've always done gel nails but somewhat recently switched to dip and have been really happy with how well they hold up, even with a job that has me using my hands so much. So glad I listened to Tammy's encouragement! She does a wonderful job and knows when I want to chat and then recognizes the days when I just want to be quiet. Hands down great experience with Tammy!
There are many positives at this salon, first of all my technician, Monica, is superb at her job and caring, I give her 10 stars. The place is very clean with pleasant decor, 5 stars. However, there are not so great things. The pedicure chairs are very upright without a give and force your knees to bend quite a bit. This was particularly uncomfortable for me because I am recovering from a back injury, but even if I wasn't, I would like to be able to lean back or have a deeper chair to really relax. At check out there was a sign that 3.99% is added to the charge on a credit card, and it's the same if you use a debit card. I would have liked to known that at booking so I could bring cash. And lastly, there's a tip share policy, which I'm not crazy about because the tip amount is customers choice, based on the quality of the service and serves to reward a great service. A higher salary is the way to reward all your employees by the employer, not tip share.

Cardinal Plumbing was excellent while we were selling our home. Issues were found with our furnace during the inspection process and they came and evaluated possible issues in a quick manner.. There were a few suggestions of possible issues and they provided options for repair without forcing any one solution in a range of possible costs. Ultimately we made the decision to replace it prior to closing and we had a short window of time to get this completed. Pablo and his team worked quick to get this done so we could close by our scheduled date. We really appreciate everything they did for us and will recommend their services to everyone.

We recently had an old toilet fill valve fail. They came over, immediately diagnosed the problem, and replaced it. It must've been about 30 or so minutes to complete the repair. I previously had called them to fix a leaking bathtub faucet and replace a garbage disposal. They were referred by one of my neighbors who said they had a good reputation and honesty. I think the cost for both jobs were reasonable and am satisfied with recommending them.

I had been dealing with a plumbing issue in my condo with my management company for over 10 days. Finally, on a holiday weekend, it reached a crisis point. I contacted my management company and they finally acted on a sunday to have a plumber come look at this situation Luckily they contacted Kiddco who is very familiar with this neighborhood. Corey called me and arrived within about an hour. When he arrived.I explained the situation and he got right to work. He took great pains to protect my carpeting and the kitchen floor. He worked efficiently and got it done, it's even can you adding an additional feature under the sink to make it easier to deal with the issue if it ever happened again. Corey was kind, and this is like but so much fun to work with and I truly appreciated him coming out on a holiday weekend to take care of my issue. Compared to before, the home feels much safer and more reliable, especially when running multiple appliances. They also upgraded outlets and ensured everything met current code. It’s a major project, but the peace of mind is worth it. The team was organized, careful, and respectful of the home throughout the process.

My desperate attempts to clean it made it even worse. I called Jimmy Ayoub, the president of the company. Jimmy personally stepped in to handle the delicate cleaning of my rug and the results were amazing. He explained how difficult it would be to get the rug cleaned in light of the specific fibers in this particular rug, but after two hand-cleanings and then the purchase of an additional specialized product to improve the end-result, the rug was almost like new. JIMMY SAVED MY RUG! It’s no wonder why Ayoub Carpet & Rug Care has such stellar reviews. The service was amazing from the top down. His pick-up and delivery team were so helpful and professional. I wish there were an option for 6 stars because that's what I would give David! He is an exceptional professional who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond for his customers. For those who have ever dealt with water damage and mold, you know it is an incredibly stressful situation that upends your life. So I wish we had met David under better circumstances, but I'm so glad we found him to do the mold remediation. His meticulous attention to detail, experience, and knowledge alone is enough to hire him, but in addition, he comes recommended by independent highly regarded mold testing/environmental professionals. In addition to all of the above, David is incredibly hard working and did everything he could to accommodate us. We have a lot of allergies in our family so David brought in an extra air scrubber and left all 3 air scrubbers with us to help us out during the re-construction process. He absolutely did not have to do that. He also didn't have to leave up the containment barrier for the re-construction phase, but he did. Because that is the kind of person he is! And because we were in such a bind, David put us in touch with folks to do the re-construction, etc. and helped us managed that process. He also answered ALL our questions promptly, even after he had completed the job. I do not frequently give such glowing reviews, but I truly simply cannot recommend David highly enough! If you want someone who cares and won't treat you like a number AND will do an exceptional job, call David. He will go above the call of duty to help you out.

I’ve used this service for Handyman work in 2021 and cleaning my apartment this past June 2022. Patricia was great and very professional. Also the technician who service the drywall issue in my home was excellent. Today 8/8/22 I called to inquire about handyman services AND cleaning of my home which is about 5K of work to get it staged for sale. The lady who answered asked me what handyman work I needed and to text my name and phone (which is their normal routine) and someone would call me back. Because I have a lot of handyman’s work to be done I asked for a website or some type of visual of their services. She rudely cut me off and told me to just text her and then hung up on me. I called back and tried to explain the nature of my call, given the volume of work, and she hung up on me again. Disgusting! I’ll report this service.

This was by far one of the best experiences we had with a trades man \ contractor team!
From Daniel's first visit, looking into all the parameters that should be considered when going to refinish floors of two smaller rooms on the 3rd level, and recommending where to create the virtual "stop" so there will be minimal ability to realize what is old and what is new;
through the scheduling process that managed to take into account our travel and time constrain;
to the team that came to do the work and were all communicative, helpful and focused;
to the project itself, that was not without dust, but so well managed by the team that we could not feel it in the house;
to the job coordinator\manager that stopped by to see that the project is moving forward as expected;
to the final product, refinished floors in two rooms, that simply look amazing, and are a total match to the rest of the house!
And to top it all off, today, 4 days since project's end, I got a call from Daniel again to verify all is well and there are no surprises once it is all said an done.

This is an unusual review because I am not YET a customer of FCI. The architect designing our kitchen remodel met Resa when we were investigating Marmoleum. I panicked when the contractor appeared to be doing a poor job with the installation. I called Resa to see if she had any suggestions or whether i needed to find someone else to install. She was going to be in our area and offered to stop by and see the space and the product. In just a few minutes she was able to assure me that all was not lost and that it could be fixed. She gave me the confidence to find the installation video on line, send it to the contractor with the request that he watch, and then when he returned, i insisted he take up the first attempt and start over. Tonight the floor looks great and I'm really pleased. I can't thank Resa enough for her interest in my success even though i was not her customer. This is a special quality and because of that i will definitely start my next flooring project with FCI. It's a good company to know about.
Fred went over and beyond to make sure we could have our carpet ordered and installed in time to sell our home. Fred even offered to show us carpet they was less expensive and same quality wherein he could have just let us order the carpet we first picked and make more money. The install was seamless and the crew even helped moved my office furniture back so that I could attend a remote meeting on time. I would highly recommend Select Carpet.

After some frustration at trying to select countertops from small samples, the fabricator suggested I go to MSI to look at full slabs. The help I received was outstanding and it made the selection so much easier. I came away understanding what was available and the different price points in Quartz, something that had seemed a mystery…they had a sheet with each “price group” (not really prices, but numerical groups at increasing price points) listed with color names within each group. I felt educated and was able to decide on a product I liked, at a price point I am comfortable with. I received samples of my top choices to take with me as well. I feel such relief.
We've hired Enterprise Construction LLC for two projects in our home. We had a fantastic experience with them. The crew was always on time, polite, completed excellent craftsmanship, and took care to clean up after themselves and ensure our belongings didn't get damaged. Most of all, communication with Ed has always been prompt and easy, which is definitely not the case for a lot of contractors. Overall, 10/10 experience!

We recently had all of our old wood siding replaced with Hardie plank - the results were amazing and Jessie's team was so professional! There is a lot of noise and commotion associated with this work and Jessie informed us every step of the way so we could plan accordingly. His team was so efficient and so careful in their work. I was extremely grateful for their daily clean up. They were wonderful and I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them for future work!
It was a pleasure working with Sunburst. They were very clear on quote and never hide anything from me. What ever price was quoted it remained the same by end of the project. Sunburst took care county approval and provided all the designs which my HOA needed.

I had Matthew come out today, originally he came out to change a stop tap I had been informed didn’t work. When he came out it turns out the stop tap isn’t isolating what it’s supposed to and has come up with a plan to fix a problem that I wasn’t aware was a problem. He came out to me on a Saturday morning which I am super grateful for. I have been with Fox pest control for a couple of years now. During the summer we always end up with a nest of Yellow jackets. Joshua came out twice this week to make sure he remedied our almost annual nest of nasty yellow jackets. We have a maintenance contract with them. I cannot recommend the company enough. I recommend Kane Landscapes with the absolute highest rating! I met Josh Kane in 2009 when we lived in McLean and had just installed a 35K gallon freeform pool in our backyard. We hired him to landscape the backyard, build a pool house, and install a stone retaining wall and pavers around the pool. Everything turned out so beautifully that we hired him again 15 years later when we moved to Alexandria and built a new home. This time we needed two stone retaining walls, as well as landscaping for the front, back, and side yards. We consistently have neighbors asking us what kind of grass we planted, what trees and shrubs are blooming, what kind of pavers we used, etc. This is all due to Josh’s team doing their job so well.
Josh was excellent about listening to what I wanted and then finding a way to deliver exactly that. I am very detail-oriented and he did not disappoint. But if you have no idea what you want to do, he is also a fantastic resource to bounce ideas off of, or you can ask him what he thinks and you can make decisions that way. He has a great deal of knowledge about local flora and will suggest plants and trees that will thrive in our area. He has good contractors on his team and if anything goes wrong, he is quick to address it. He’s also great about answering questions post-project. You can tell he loves what he does and I would trust him completely with any future landscape project.
Bautista Landscaping has been doing our lawn for several years now. We were recently out of state for an extended period and our flower beds and trees/bushes were out of control overgrown with weeds. We called Bautista and they came right out and did an excellent job weeding and trimming the trees and bushes. They do quality work and do the job for a reasonable price.
Meridian Landscaping did a fantastic job with a full backyard renovation. As part of the scoping and pricing process, they provided a walkthrough and a detailed video showcasing the expected final result. Once the project began, the lead and designer made near-daily visits to ensure everything was progressing as planned and adhered to the specifications.
A standout aspect of their service was their flexibility; when we requested additional tree removal and patio expansion during the project, they accommodated these changes seamlessly without causing any delays. The crew was professional, courteous, and maintained a clean work environment throughout. The project was completed on schedule, and the end result exceeded expectations. Working with Dr. Ratcliffe has been a completly new experience for me in the medical field. As someone with a confusing or less clear diagnosis, he has shown himself to be open minded and believe me when I express my symptoms instead of guessing or immediately throwing a diagnosis on it. I needed an emergency appointment since my dog was having symptoms and was not eating. Our regular vet was not available that day so I called countryside animal clinic. They gave me a same day appointment and Dr Valentino and her team very fantastic with my dog and with me as a pet owner. Dr Valentino did some labs right away that helped her diagnosed my dog’s condition and to provide a treatment plan. I am very grateful for her professionalism and her knowledge. Dr Valentino was so empathetic and caring.
Such a great vet experience! My dog is extremely anxious, and the staff were all so gentle and patient with her. Dr Jones himself was down on the floor with her while he did the examination, and let her hide under a chair while he checked her eyes and ears. She was so much more comfortable by the time the appointment was finished, and it was all thanks to the thoughtful and caring treatment of the staff. Great place!

Healthy Hound Playground goes above and beyond to look after man’s best friend! There are tons of different dog types and personalities making the process difficult to say the least. Nevertheless, the people are wonderful and care about each and every dog that stays with them! Dogs are always excited to get to see their friends while participating In daycare! I went to Moonlake recently because it is very convenient to where I live. I have had many massages over the years and this was one of the best. I had a most wonderful 60 minute Thai-Euro (Swedish) massage on March 2, 2026. The massage therapist was most outstanding. Kind, capable, and talkative if I asked (but knew not to talk when I was just luxuriating under her skilled hands) That was the best part but also many other very nice touches: a heated bed to lay on, pillows under your ankles when face down (made it much more comfortable), pillows under knees when face up, wiped down with a damp hot towel to remove oil, given tea before hand and water after. A relaxed quiet vibe to the place (in an office building, not a strip mall). Easy parking. Fair price. Charla the receptionist was very capable and friendly. The best massage I've ever had! I am definitely coming back! :)

I have seen more doctors than I would like to admit and the therapist (Pam & JJ) finally gave me the answer to the cause of my condition.
