“I started my multiple project remodeling journey in late 2025 around the October timeframe and all was finished by December. Having been though a kitchen remodel, I knew how important it is to find the right team of folks to work with where you don’t feel pressured, you feel comfortable to bounce ideas off of, and that you feel like you can trust the pricing and quality of both the work and products. So after meeting with and getting estimates from 4 different places in the Loudoun area, I decided to go with Modern Kitchen and Home Solutions for my guest bath, master bath and powder room remodeling projects. I actually started with just the guest and master and then went ahead and decided to do the powder room as well after seeing what a great job was done with the other 2 bathrooms. I also added in a job to change out the chandelier in my hallway. Luba was the designer I was working with from the beginning to the end. They were the only ones that provided me with a true visual layout based on my existing architecture and measurements as opposed to just a list of materials. Be patient after the initial estimate visit since it take about a week to get the estimate and initial design. It REALLY helps to see a visual of your space with the updates on paper. I was the same way with my kitchen remodel years ago and it’s a great way to make sure the design will be successful. Luba was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I really appreciated all her opinions and expertise that she provided. Bottom line, Luba is awesome, great communicator and most of all, KNOWS what she is doing!!! In addition to Luba, I want to mention the crew that came to do the job and execute. They were very professional, thorough, precise and didn’t leave a mess. I also want to give a shout out to the project manager who was diligent about checking in to make sure all was going well. Throughout the renovation, PKB consistently kept us updated and provided feedback on any change orders we requested. Any minor issues we encountered were promptly addressed, and despite submitting several change orders, PKB completed them all without hesitation.

“Mr. Faux painted our kitchen cabinets, and we are very happy with the results. After emailing some photos of our existing cabinets he sent us a quote within a day, no visit needed. The process went exactly as he said it would, and his workers were great. Even provided a free color consultation. Terrific communication throughout the process. After the work was completed, we needed a touchup due to damage we caused, and Mr. Faux restored the drawer face without charging us. Highly recommend.“
