I have gotten a haircut twice now from Gwen. I am extremely happy. I have thin hair, which has made it hard for me to get a good haircut in the past. Gwen was able to layer it the way I wanted, making it look voluminous and nice. She does not rush, but rather ensures I get a good haircut and that I'm happy with it. She listens to what I want. She's also very friendly and nice. I'm so happy I found Gwen. My long search for a great hairstylist is over. She is the only person I will go to for my haircuts from now on. And you can't beat the prices at Great Clips!

I've been seeing Rhonda for 13 years at this Jouvence Aveda location. The front desk has always been accommodating and helpful, offering product knowledge, greeting me by asking if I'd like tea or water and taking my coat if I had one with me. And I've had many spa services with Rhonda who has always been wonderful. I've had my hair done twice here (just a style), once with a new stylist, once with an experienced stylist. Wish I remembered their names, but both experiences were great and included the full experience (best hair wash - so relaxing).
9.2.25 update: Still seeing Rhonda! This is the 3rd location, and still can report the service is always impeccable from walking in to checking out. The new location is beautiful and inviting, as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sebastian for many years. He has always explained procedures to me and answered questions. Several years ago, he had do do a Mohr's surgery on my nose. It turned out to be more involved than originally thought and had to be done in 2 stages. Dr. Sebastian called in a plastic surgeon to look at the surgery site and got me the help needed for repair. Since that time he has done several biopsies on my body and face. I appreciate all that he has done for me.
My only complaint about the practice is wait time in the waiting room. I have had several long waits and got no explanation for them. sometimes it seems that the receptionists are too busy on their phones to even notice the patients sitting or standing right in front of them.

We hired structural repair and renovations to replace some footings on an addition to our house. We selected them from five contractors based on the price (middle of the pack) and the warranty on the work (best of the bunch). They started by drawing up detailed plans that included some additional suggestions for shoring up the structure that would be compliant with modern code requirements. Once we authorized the work they started promptly. The work crews were polite and communicative. My primary contact with the company was Pat, who was also communicative and answered all my questions or put me in touch with the engineers who could. The workers found some old termite damage necessitating additional repairs and the quote to fix it was very reasonable. All in all the work appears solid and this was about an easy experience as major repairs to a home can be. Thank you!

I seriously cannot stress enough just how much I love Dr. Pal and her entire team. I originally chose her practice years ago based partially on reviews, partially because the location was super convenient. (I could literally walk there from my house.) I moved to Arlington over a year ago, and I didn't even remotely consider trying to find a new dentist. I've never been loyal to any other dentist prior to her, but I would literally travel across the country to see her if that's what it took.
I do not enjoy medical visits of any kind (who does?) but I genuinely look forward to my visits with Dr. Pal. She and her entire team are incredibly skilled at making patients feel at ease. Plus the place is decorated super cute! And it's actually CLEAN.
It's rare to find the level of kindness and pleasant demeanor combined with a high-level of skill like you'll find here. And in addition to this already rare combo, the team actively includes you in the treatment plan and makes sure you understand all your options. I came to Melissa for hip pain stopping me from running, but quickly found she offered more services than just helping alleviate my hip pain. I had been struggling with digestive issues for years as well and the hip pain was related to some of my abdominal pain.
Melissa helped diagnose me through testing me to see if I had mycotoxins from exposure to mold. She gave me strategies to make sure my environment was safe (also through testing) and supplements and a nutritional plan that have helped me heal.

I have enjoyed this animal hospital for my black lab. I transferred from Vienna, which I also liked, but happen to like Reston more as pricing seems more fair. I also was able to experience their honesty when having to have teeth pulled. My dog has stayed with them in their kennel and it was a great experience. My only complaint is they don’t do weekends anymore.

It was absolutely phenomenal experience! I had a craniosacral therapy. Marcus has such a healing touch.His hands communicated through out my body with a very gentle touch. But every touch is powerful and meaningful. I had an emotional release with unexpected during the session.( he already warned at the beginning) My 90 minute session went so fast. After the session, I feel very relax and my body feels so light and neat. All the tension went away. It is so amazing how the light touch works powerfully like a traditional massage ( deep tissue or Swedish massage) i highly recommend Marcus for anyone who is seeking for a true healing of body and mind . When I started vocal training 5 years ago, my vocal coach insisted I go get a massage to loosen up the tension in my neck and throat. I had never received a massage before, and was hesitant to oblige. (In the interest of disclosure, she also insisted I go to yoga, and I've been stubbornly holding out on that piece of advice for 5 years.) I had been to approximately 10 massage therapists across Northern Virginia before finding Lisa Hauer. It was the first time I had received a massage that I (1) slept like a baby that night and (2) didn't feel bruised or sore the following day. I've been going to her ever since. Each massage is different, depending on my body's needs. I remember I was going through a particularly stressful time in my life and had a temporary bout of TMJ (or teeth grinding in the night). Before I had the chance to even mention it, she recognized the problem in my jaw, and spent the remaining HOUR and 20 minutes focused on easing the tension (just in my jaw)!

The space is quiet, peaceful, and tucked away in a way that immediately helps you exhale. I always leave with the “massage sleepies” and feel genuinely rejuvenated.
I’ve seen 5 of the current therapists and have appreciated something different about each of them. There’s real depth of skill across the team. Personally, I often book with Angela or Ashley for shoulder and upper back tension (office life) combined with deep relaxation — they just intuitively understand what my body needs. Kara and Alisa are incredibly skilled with precise, detailed work and bring strong knowledge of different massage modalities. Shyanne once gave me a focused session that helped tremendously while I was recovering from knee pain.
That said, I rotate through therapists and have had consistently positive experiences. They all bring something valuable to the table. I’ve started incorporating massage into my regular routine for relaxation, mindfulness, and stress relief — especially knowing how much stress can live in the body. After trying multiple spots locally (and even comparing while traveling), this is my favorite place to go.
