I was having major frizzy problems this summer. so I thought I would try a keratin treatment which I had heard about from others. I went to Sherry after looking at reviews and location, etc. She was fantastic! She spent four hours! working with me and my hair. she was pleasant? professional, snd fun, and did a fantastic job. I can't recommend her enough. oh and my hair looks great.

Thought I wouldn't find another stylist to do my hair but then I found Nania Jenna. I have never seen or heard of someone doing waist length braids under 5 hours in my life! I thought it would take at least 3 people. She finished my hair in 4hrs after wash and blow dry then completed a free part braiding. I'm blown away still. She's professional and pleasant to speak to. Since my last review in 2014, Choi has moved to a new location nearby and is as wonderful and excellent as ever. I've moved to another state but I make appointments with her for whenever I pass through. Her haircuts - including cut and color - are so good they last twice as long as anywhere else. All I can say is she'd better never retire!

This is great barbershop I have been to coming here since covid, honestly the owner Kelly is such great barber and she keeps her crew clean. I explain to her how to cut my hair with skin fade and she's great to talk with. After the haircut she gives hot towel massage on the hair and neck, and gives a neck and shoulder massage it is very relaxing. Also when you check in at the entrance you get points. Lyn did my nails and I can confidently say she was one of the best nail technicians I’ve ever had and I’ve done a lot of manicures and pedicures in my life. She was meticulous, did not rush, and was gentle when doing her work. They dip your hands and feet in wax which I LOVED and everything was reasonably priced.

I got my wedding dress and veil cleaned and preserved and I think they did a fabulous job! The preservation was a bit pricey and don’t have anywhere to compare it to. In the end I felt like the price was reasonable for the service and I was happy with the results.

I called APS 4 years ago when I broke my leg. I had never used a cleaning company before and they did such an amazing job I kept them for 4 years. Patty always contacted me the day before to make sure I was ok with them coming over and was always accommodating when I needed to change the date of service. On several occasions the house was worse than usual because of gatherings, I was super busy at work or not feeling well. Any time I felt that something wasn’t cleaned to standard she always fixed the problem as soon as was possible.We recently had to move and hired her for the clean out move. Munoz Construction has completed two projects in our home and we are extremely pleased with their work. The most recent project was a kitchen update wherein they replaced the countertops, backsplash, downdraft exhaust fan, spice cabinet pull out organizer, sink, faucet and disposal switch. They also did some carpentry work, repaired and painted drywall, and coordinated the installation of the new countertops as well as repurposing the granite from the kitchen to the basement bar area with the stone contractor. Jose and his team (Pedro and Armando) arrived promptly each morning and were a pleasure to work with. They were always respectful of our home; laying down drop cloths to protect our floors and thoroughly cleaning up the work spaces at the end of the day. They worked tirelessly to solve complex issues and create innovative and cost saving solutions. They did a fantastic job and we are very happy with the work they completed!We mainly communicated with Michael, who gave the initial estimate and assisted with materials purchases. He was extremely helpful and always available to answer any questions we had about the project. For materials, we were able to get what we wanted more or less in budget based on their guidance.Michael and the work crew were always very prompt and courteous, making the renovation process as minimally intrusive as possible. Along the way we encountered some additional unanticipated fixes, but Michael helped us figure those out with minimal impact to schedule and budget.Overall, we cannot recommend Ryan Reph and his team enough! I already thought Dr. Lily was amazing as she has kept me functioning for the last 12 years. But two nights ago my back was just screaming in pain when I tried to roll over in bed or sit up. I asked if she could squeeze me in for a same day appointment and thankfully she did. She dry needled and adjusted me and I slept without pain last night. I don’t know what I would do without her!

Dr. Joe is the real deal and the only chiropractor I will see. He is incredibly knowledgeable and will help you heal from whatever problem(s) has led you to be on his table. He is a patient and thorough practitioner and teacher. He also has a great sense of humor which has helped me through many tough bumps in the road. I’m so grateful for his excellent care and for the many years of friendship I have with him and his wife (my PT) Michelle. ??
I started seeing Dr. Yoo five years ago, and I highly recommend him. I was severely injured as a child when my tail bone was broken and lower spine was crushed. The only way that I can manage the pain is with chiropractic care. Dr. Yoo helps me manage the horrible pain. I have been to many chiropractors over the past 30 years, and he is one of the very best. I trust him with my back and medical care.

I've been going here every two weeks, sometimes once a week since 2015. I am always greeted with smiles, and asked about my life. Dr. Julie is like family. Something a general practice doctors rarely do. I feel healthier and happier seeing Dr. Julie than I do at the family doctor. Chiropractic helps me stay healthy it works without pills!!!

Dr. Canzano has made such a difference in how I feel! She is amazing and I wish I had gone to her sooner. My husband just saw her for the 2nd time today and he agrees, she is fantastic! Imagine being so stiff and sore that just standing up from the sofa after watching a 30 minute tv show and you hurt and feel so stiff that you walk bent over for the first couple of minutes. Then imagine after a treatment from Dr. Canzano and getting up from the sofa without hurting, not stiff, walking normally! My neck and lower back have been so stiff for a long time, to have that huge improvement is wonderful. It is a difference in quality of life. I would recommend to everyone, even if they already have a chiropractor, TRY DR. CANZANO! She is not like all the rest. She even uses kinesiology to check things and that is a whole other skill set which is very useful and impressive. She is intuitive and sharp, and a super nice lady. I also want to mention that this office is run so well by Shirl that you are seen on time, you don't wait for ages like other offices. They pride themselves on not keeping patients waiting which is such a nice change from the usual!
UPDATE AUGUST, 2024. I HAD A TERRIBLE PAINFUL BACK, THE WORST PAIN I HAD EVER EXPERIENCED. I WALKED INTO DR. CANZANO’S OFFiICE BENT OVER, WITH A CANE AND WALKED OUT STANDING UP WITHOUT THE CANE. I TOLD DR. CANZANO SHE WAS MAGIC BECAUSE IT WAS SO AMAZING! SO AGAIN, EVEN IF YOU HAVE A CHIROPRACTOR, PLEASE SEE DR. CANZANO, SHE IS THE BEST CHIROPRACTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!
Dr. Lisa Walmsley is by far my favourite Chiropractor I’ve seen. I have had ongoing hip issues that refer throughout my body and she has made the biggest instantaneous difference. Dr. Lisa Walmsley has always been the sweetest and loves to know everything about you, not just in a medical sense, but overall she cares. If you want to meet someone happier than a bird with a French fry, then this is the place to go :)
After 25 years in law enforcement, I thought I’d seen it all—until my own back became my toughest opponent. My two cats get stressed out by the car ride but after all the love and treats and petting from the staff and vet techs they are ready to have their annual exams and vaccines, no problem.
They are absolutely spoiled with toys and catnip by the end of the appointment and I love that the staff gets me checked out in the exam room so I dont have to juggle payment with two carriers and the stress of whatever other patients might be coming and goin in the waiting area.

Great experience today with my dog, Sunshine- I can’t imagine ever being able to trim nails that quickly, but the dog whisperer there was great! I stayed (offered to leave) while he worked efficiently & stress-free.
I’ve done my own dogs’ nails before but it can take a week to work through all the nails. Loved that they talked to the dogs calmly.
We were fortunate to add bathing after the trim but in the future I’ll schedule ahead ?

I have been studying at Health Advantage for 20 years and highly recommend it. The teachers are highly trained and supportive; the atmosphere is friendly and non-cliquish; and the classes are thoughtfully sequenced to allow students to deepen their practice and work safely into more complex poses over the course of a session. The teachers did an amazing job adapting to the pandemic and providing online classes; Susan (the studio owner) is now moving cautiously and safely toward in-person classes. HAYC is one of the oldest yoga studios in Northern Virginia for all the right reasons, so do yourself a favor and practice here!

My experiences with Kate Deriso have been nothing short of mind-blowing. I have worked with Kate on EFT, Bowen Therapy, Facial Myofascial Release, and Buccal Massage. She has incorporated tapping and Himalayan sound bowls into my treatments.
EFT helped reduce the emotional charge of some specific past trauma. Kate gently and confidently led me through this release. It was a profoundly moving experience and continues to reap benefits as far as my mental health. I recommend it to everyone. Kate incorporated Bowen into that session, which was amazingly only one hour and yet with so much accomplished. I was new to Bowen and am amazed how well my body responds to it as far as relaxing areas I didn't know were tense.
Speaking of the unexpected, I had immediate relief from lower back pain after receiving Facial Myofascial Release both times I had it. While Kate worked only on my face, apparently the tension there was causing my lower back to seize up. With it released, my back feels limber and good now! Buccal Massage was also a revelation. Kate was able to significantly relieve the tightness in my jaw and neck caused by TMJ. I have no doubt that in the coming weeks I will experience improvements in my overall health thanks to Kate's therapeutic interventions. Thank you, Kate!

I had a session with Claudia earlier this week and she spent about 30 minutes just learning about my day-to-day pain challenges, physical activity (or lack of it), stretches, and only then Claudia started the massage therapy and I greatly appreciated that she spent that upfront time learning about me. The massage was just great and my neck and shoulder were much relaxed after that session. I'll certainly make subsequent appointments with Claudia!
I developed a balance disorder that causes me to feel unsteady. One of Christy's specialties is Craniosacral Therapy which is used to help my condition, among others. I have only seen her a few times, and she has already helped reduce my symptoms. Christy is a very skilled practitioner, and I highly recommend her. I will be back.
Several years ago I was suffering from radiating hip pain whenever I walked up stairs. Physical therapy hadn’t worked so I decided to try White H.A.R.T. Massage. Casey worked on both hips and I realized the following day after walking up a flight of stairs that my pain was gone! I continue to see Casey monthly for maintenance and the occasional muscle tightness.
This was my first lymphatic massage ever, and it was a great experience! Netta is a lovely person and her massage space is very nice, inviting, and relaxing. She took the time to explain the process and benefits of lymphatic massage, and the experience was enjoyable and relaxing. In the day following my massage, I noticed less pain (I was previously dealing with back and neck issues), easier mobility, and reduced swelling in the lymph nodes in my armpits. I'm really glad I chose to do this!
Patricia is wonderful! She is so caring and will listen to feedback about massage pressure. She is great at working out the pesky knots in my shoulders. I highly recommend her. I also like that you can pay/tip with credit or debit card.
I've been seeing Tracey for well over 10 years, pretty consistently on a monthly basis. Simply said, you will not find a CMT out there who has a better understanding of how massage and anatomy relate to total wellness. You will also not find someone who is more genuine, kind, accommodating or understanding. I had bilateral knee replacement surgery and was referred to ACE Rehab as a place that could accommodate patients recovering from that procedure. It was very fortunate for me because Dr. Tonya Mitchell and her staff took great care of me. They both encouraged and challenged me through throughout the rehab process, and thanks to the results, my doctor has been very pleased with the rapid pace of my recovery. It's hard to make rehab fun, but Tonya and the rest of the staff at ACE made it a very rewarding experience, and I'm grateful to them.
Catch a Fish Wellness is AWESOME! Brian is so knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I have a chronic pain disorder (trigeminal neuralgia) for which I was taking 3 medications. With Brian’s help, I have been able to reduce the dose of one medication and eliminate another altogether. The office is peaceful and quiet and the office staff is always on top of things.
