Marnie, my wife had surgery to repair a torn tendon on her left ankle. The recovery included two weeks no weight-bearing on the leg. I had to use a wheel chair to transport her from room to room in our house, as well as to followup medical appointments. I pre-arranged with ComfortKeepers Mid-Atlantic to have a Caregiver stop by four-five hours a day to help me, help my wife recover. The Caregiver, Ms. Fatmata Kabba was an absolute joy. She was there for my wife during those times I could not be home. She helped her with bathing, personal needs in the bathroom, reminded her of medications to take when necessary, hand-washed dishes that I did not have a chance to get to, and accompanied me when I took Marnie to medical appointments; she would easily help Marnie get in the wheelchair and take her to the medical office while I parked the car. Other times, she would sit and talk with us about our varied life experiences. Fatmata was extremely helpful to both of us. She is a true caring and compassionate professional. Suffice to say, I highly recommend the services of ComfortKeepers and in particular, Fatmata Kabba. If we ever need those support services again, I will contact ComfortKeepers and ask for Fatmata by name.
Went for the first time with Aura and the whole experience was amazing. She was super sweet and professional. She took her time with my eyebrows. I didn’t feel any discomfort. Usually upper lip threading makes me shed a tear but Aura was so soft handed I felt NOTHING!!! That’s it’s I’m not going anywhere else lol. Don’t hesitate to book with her!! Anyone looking for the perfect massage therapist, look no longer. Meg Donnelly, LMT, is the very best I have ever been to. Meg's easy approach is wonderful for people who have never had a massage, and fantastic for people who have had past massages, and want a relaxing, therapeutic experience like no other. As a runner, the massages I have gotten from Meg are invaluable. My running has improved, and if I have any injury, a massage from her makes the recovery SO MUCH FASTER. Meg's extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology makes her ability to direct massage therapy to just the correct spot. She is respectful of the individual needs of her clients, and her friendly manner is awesome. Her studio is calming, with restful decor and music. My very favorite place to go for massage.

Astrid was so sweet and personable, easy to talk to created a very welcoming atmosphere. But more importantly, she gave me the best haircut and blowout of my life ! Exactly what I asked for - light wispy layers and a fringe on my DIY bangs. The blowout was perfect and she really took her time to make sure it was styled like how I wanted. 11/10 would 1000% recommend.
Since my last review in 2014, Choi has moved to a new location nearby and is as wonderful and excellent as ever. I've moved to another state but I make appointments with her for whenever I pass through. Her haircuts - including cut and color - are so good they last twice as long as anywhere else. All I can say is she'd better never retire!
Thought I wouldn't find another stylist to do my hair but then I found Nania Jenna. I have never seen or heard of someone doing waist length braids under 5 hours in my life! I thought it would take at least 3 people. She finished my hair in 4hrs after wash and blow dry then completed a free part braiding. I'm blown away still. She's professional and pleasant to speak to. Will return!

Julian is hands down one of the most professional and skilled barbers in the game. With over 20 years of experience, his level of mastery truly shows in every cut. I can’t emphasize what amazing of an experience I had at VIP’s Nails & Spa. I walked in for a mani and pedi on a Saturday afternoon and was assisted immediately.
Lyn did my nails and I can confidently say she was one of the best nail technicians I’ve ever had and I’ve done a lot of manicures and pedicures in my life. She was meticulous, did not rush, and was gentle when doing her work. They dip your hands and feet in wax which I LOVED and everything was reasonably priced.
I came from out of town for the weekend, but I would go to her every week if I would live here. Five stars, stellar experience. Highly highly recommend!!!
They did an excellent job with my manicure and pedicure, but even more important than that, was the way they greeted and treated every customer that came through while I was there - it was really amazing. In fact, I even wanted to give them an extra large tip simply because of how kind they were to all the other customers. I would definitely go here again.

I went to Sherry after looking at reviews and location, etc. She was fantastic! She spent four hours! working with me and my hair. she was pleasant? professional, snd fun, and did a fantastic job. I can't recommend her enough. oh and my hair looks great.

This place is dynamite. It's got a modern feel and has such a relaxing atmosphere. From the spa water to the shopping within the products that are cruelty free that they offer, it's just impossible not to feel good about being here. You know you're in for a true spa service that will be melt that stress and give you that big sigh you had coming, if it's been escaping you in your routine. The staff are accommodating but it's not necessary bc you're on cloud 9 before you know it. A must return, and even consider going elite as a client there. It's becoming priority to my feeling calm and comfy that the people at the spa really provide that so I have my return date in mind already. My favorite spa, favorite massage therapist and the shop itself is a real indulgence. Lovely people there. I'm used to Red Door Spa, but this has me forgetting that name, not even a joke. And Calvert Rejuvenation is the best irregardless if the Red Door closed its doors.

I got my wedding dress and veil cleaned and preserved and I think they did a fabulous job! The preservation was a bit pricey and don’t have anywhere to compare it to. In the end I felt like the price was reasonable for the service and I was happy with the results.

I called APS 4 years ago when I broke my leg. I had never used a cleaning company before and they did such an amazing job I kept them for 4 years. Patty always contacted me the day before to make sure I was ok with them coming over and was always accommodating when I needed to change the date of service. On several occasions the house was worse than usual because of gatherings, I was super busy at work or not feeling well. Any time I felt that something wasn’t cleaned to standard she always fixed the problem as soon as was possible.We recently had to move and hired her for the clean out move. She was even able to help with trash removal and some small repairs we needed done around the house. Will absolutely miss her and her sisters.Service: General housekeeping

Explained every detail in the material selection process, flexible in scheduling, transparent and at reasonable price, available 7 days a week. Overall, very happy with them and will definitely do business again for my future needs and recommended them to my neighbors/ community.
Royal Treatment from Royal Floors
My daughter and son-in-law needed to remove the carpet on their entire second floor (bedroom level) and replace it with hardwood. This was about 1400-square-feet … and it needed to match the hardwood they already had on their first floor (living room level).
Since they both work during the weekdays and have two children to take care of, I volunteered to do some leg work for them and check out flooring stores. After having gone to several other flooring stores, my daughter suggested I check out Royal Floors … and I’m SO GLAD I DID!!!
Not only did we get a better deal on our entire project, Amin was extremely knowledgeable and had absolutely the BEST attitude of anyone we had dealt with during our search for flooring.
We chose Royal Floors, scheduled the job, and it turned out PERFECTLY!!! And, much of it had to do with the cooperation and can-do attitude we received from Amin!

Ryan Reph completed a kitchen remodel in our townhome in November 2023. They did a fantastic job and we are very happy with the work they completed!We mainly communicated with Michael, who gave the initial estimate and assisted with materials purchases. He was extremely helpful and always available to answer any questions we had about the project. For materials, we were able to get what we wanted more or less in budget based on their guidance.Michael and the work crew were always very prompt and courteous, making the renovation process as minimally intrusive as possible. Along the way we encountered some additional unanticipated fixes, but Michael helped us figure those out with minimal impact to schedule and budget.Overall, we cannot recommend Ryan Reph and his team enough! We would absolutely hire them for another project in the future!
They did my bathroom remodel job. They were incredible - prompt, courteous, perfectionists, finished the job early…. I can’t say enough good about them. The owner, Jose was at the site everyday checking the work, answering my questions, making suggestions. The price was very reasonable. I had to wait a few months before they could start but that’s because they are so much in demand!!

Harold shows up, assesses the situation and fixes the issue to allow your home to remain livable, even if you need to await parts to arrive. After a long journey with chronic pain I came to Dr. Lily as a last ditch effort to get relief from the pain. What I got was more than I expected. She takes a holistic approach and actually listens to the patient (not my experience with other medical professionals) She looked at everything that could be impacting my pain, she tried multiple techniques and was not afraid to speak hard truths to me. She is a beautiful soul, with empathy, understanding and professionalism every step of the way. Ashlyn runs the office with a warmth and efficiency that keeps things running smoothly. This place is a gift for anyone who wishes to receive it. I have been going there for over 8 years and Michelle / who is the yoga therapist has completely changed not just how my physical body feels and “works” but also my internal sense of calm regarding healing. When I walk in the door I immediately feel peace. Hard to believe you can feel healing from just walking in the door but it’s true. My “ yoga practice “ which I do at home daily has been life altering thanks to Michelle. For anyone that is lucky enough to receive assistance from either Michelle or Joe the chiropractor- you will feel grateful for a long time
I started seeing Dr. Yoo five years ago, and I highly recommend him. I was severely injured as a child when my tail bone was broken and lower spine was crushed. The only way that I can manage the pain is with chiropractic care. Dr. Yoo helps me manage the horrible pain. I have been to many chiropractors over the past 30 years, and he is one of the very best. I trust him with my back and medical care.

Dr. Lisa Walmsley is by far my favourite Chiropractor I’ve seen. I have had ongoing hip issues that refer throughout my body and she has made the biggest instantaneous difference. Dr. Lisa Walmsley has always been the sweetest and loves to know everything about you, not just in a medical sense, but overall she cares. If you want to meet someone happier than a bird with a French fry, then this is the place to go :)
I've been going here every two weeks, sometimes once a week since 2015. I am always greeted with smiles, and asked about my life. Dr. Julie is like family. Something a general practice doctors rarely do. I feel healthier and happier seeing Dr. Julie than I do at the family doctor. Chiropractic helps me stay healthy it works without pills!!!
Dr is super nice and knowledgeable. Decompression session is one of the best here. Feeling good amount of relief.
Dr. Canzano has made such a difference in how I feel! She is amazing and I wish I had gone to her sooner. My husband just saw her for the 2nd time today and he agrees, she is fantastic! Imagine being so stiff and sore that just standing up from the sofa after watching a 30 minute tv show and you hurt and feel so stiff that you walk bent over for the first couple of minutes. Then imagine after a treatment from Dr. Canzano and getting up from the sofa without hurting, not stiff, walking normally! My neck and lower back have been so stiff for a long time, to have that huge improvement is wonderful. It is a difference in quality of life. I would recommend to everyone, even if they already have a chiropractor, TRY DR. CANZANO! She is not like all the rest. She even uses kinesiology to check things and that is a whole other skill set which is very useful and impressive. She is intuitive and sharp, and a super nice lady. I also want to mention that this office is run so well by Shirl that you are seen on time, you don't wait for ages like other offices. They pride themselves on not keeping patients waiting which is such a nice change from the usual!
UPDATE AUGUST, 2024. I HAD A TERRIBLE PAINFUL BACK, THE WORST PAIN I HAD EVER EXPERIENCED. I WALKED INTO DR. CANZANO’S OFFiICE BENT OVER, WITH A CANE AND WALKED OUT STANDING UP WITHOUT THE CANE. I TOLD DR. CANZANO SHE WAS MAGIC BECAUSE IT WAS SO AMAZING! SO AGAIN, EVEN IF YOU HAVE A CHIROPRACTOR, PLEASE SEE DR. CANZANO, SHE IS THE BEST CHIROPRACTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!

After leaving my first vet in the dust, I found Franklin Farm veterinary clinic and I am very happy.
My two cats get stressed out by the car ride but after all the love and treats and petting from the staff and vet techs they are ready to have their annual exams and vaccines, no problem.
They are absolutely spoiled with toys and catnip by the end of the appointment and I love that the staff gets me checked out in the exam room so I dont have to juggle payment with two carriers and the stress of whatever other patients might be coming and goin in the waiting area.
Chrissy has been grooming our dogs for years and she is amazing!! Our two dogs always come back looking fantastic!!! Highly recommend!
I got a 10 class pass and am hooked - I got the unlimited monthly subscription. I try to come in most days. The teachers are great. I am so glad I found this place. If you like hot yoga or are curious about it, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.
I have been studying at Health Advantage for 20 years and highly recommend it. The teachers are highly trained and supportive; the atmosphere is friendly and non-cliquish; and the classes are thoughtfully sequenced to allow students to deepen their practice and work safely into more complex poses over the course of a session. The teachers did an amazing job adapting to the pandemic and providing online classes; Susan (the studio owner) is now moving cautiously and safely toward in-person classes. HAYC is one of the oldest yoga studios in Northern Virginia for all the right reasons, so do yourself a favor and practice here!
I got a deep tissue massage and Neenee did a wonderful job at releasing tension in my neck and shoulder problem areas. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.
It's been a while since I've had a massage, but it was time. I'm a 2nd grade teacher in FCPS and after a week of school, this was an awesome treat to myself. Steven was great, just the right amount of pressure and no talking. I was very relaxed when I left. Highly recommend. I can’t recommend Kate enough! I left our session feeling like a new person! I’ve been looking for someone to help me with my TMJ disorder and I’m so glad I found Kate. She is so knowledgeable and wonderful about talking you through her process all while keeping a serene vibe. It’s been almost 12 hours and I still feel so relaxed, and the tension I have grown so used to holding around my jaw and shoulders feels as though it’s melted away. I will definitely be returning as soon as I can!
My husband, my sons & I all experience regularly the wonderful massage therapy services of Patricia. Recently I injured my right knee and she massaged the intense knot and pain. Meg's easy approach is wonderful for people who have never had a massage, and fantastic for people who have had past massages, and want a relaxing, therapeutic experience like no other. As a runner, the massages I have gotten from Meg are invaluable. My running has improved, and if I have any injury, a massage from her makes the recovery SO MUCH FASTER. Meg's extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology makes her ability to direct massage therapy to just the correct spot. She is respectful of the individual needs of her clients, and her friendly manner is awesome. Her studio is calming, with restful decor and music. My very favorite place to go for massage.

My experience at Crystal Spa was top tier. The massage therapist Julian, was experienced and extremely through she took her time in massaging the areas that were tense. The service was great and they definitely want their clients comfortable. If I am ever in the Reston or Herndon again, I would surely stop by to see them for the BEST relaxation experience ever. I don't get too many massages but booked one today as I was anticipating being very sore from some hockey games I played over the weekend. I ended up also getting a deep bruise from a hit I took and for the past 2 days have been unable to bend my knee and support weight on it because of how the muscle responded to the contact or even lay down on it as it was so sore.
My appointment was with Madelene and it was hands down the best massage I have ever gotten. She worked on my leg after cautioning that we needed to be careful to not cause more inflammation and the longer she worked on it the better it felt. Beforehand I couldn't even lightly press on it without a lot of discomfort and pain, let alone get around without a ridiculous limp, but when I left I could bend it without any pain and am walking without a noticeable limp.
On top of that the rest of the massage was fantastic (I even fell asleep on the table a couple of times). I can't recommend her enough. On top of that, the few times I have been to Massage Envy it is usually 10 minutes of assessment beforehand and another 10 minutes to get dressed at the end but this one was maybe 5 minutes of discussion at the start about focus areas and went all the way to the end.
As someone who also thinks that massages are in general really expensive, this one was worth every penny.
I developed a balance disorder that causes me to feel unsteady. One of Christy's specialties is Craniosacral Therapy which is used to help my condition, among others. I have only seen her a few times, and she has already helped reduce my symptoms. Christy is a very skilled practitioner, and I highly recommend her. I will be back.
This was my first lymphatic massage ever, and it was a great experience! Netta is a lovely person and her massage space is very nice, inviting, and relaxing. She took the time to explain the process and benefits of lymphatic massage, and the experience was enjoyable and relaxing. In the day following my massage, I noticed less pain (I was previously dealing with back and neck issues), easier mobility, and reduced swelling in the lymph nodes in my armpits. I'm really glad I chose to do this!
Casey and her team are simply amazing. I've gone to Casey for almost 2 years and she is very talented at what she does. I walk in the door with severe back pain and stress, and leave with relief, ease and almost lighter if that makes sense. I highly recommend her and White Hart Massage!
Patricia is wonderful! She is so caring and will listen to feedback about massage pressure. She is great at working out the pesky knots in my shoulders. I highly recommend her. I also like that you can pay/tip with credit or debit card.
I've been seeing Tracey for well over 10 years, pretty consistently on a monthly basis. Simply said, you will not find a CMT out there who has a better understanding of how massage and anatomy relate to total wellness. You will also not find someone who is more genuine, kind, accommodating or understanding. At this stage in my life I've pared my circle down to the very few who add value and positivity to my well being, and am proud to include Tracey in that circle.
I was a patient of Emily's, and she is the greatest therapist I've ever met!
I hurt my SI joint last June, and even standing and walking were hard for me. I was also super conservative about PT at the time. A friend recommended Emily to me, and I'm so glad they did. She's amazing! Emily is so kind and professional, and she's really great with pelvis and lower back exercises. Every time I came in with some new issue, she figured out exactly where the problem was and the right exercises to target it, and it always got better. I feel like she has some kind of magic!
I did PT with Emily for 7 months, and it was such a happy and incredible feeling to take back control of my body during this process. Now the SI joint problem barely affects my everyday life at all.
Honestly, finding Emily was the best thing that came out of this whole injury. I can't recommend her enough!

I had bilateral knee replacement surgery and was referred to ACE Rehab as a place that could accommodate patients recovering from that procedure. It was very fortunate for me because Dr. Tonya Mitchell and her staff took great care of me. They both encouraged and challenged me through throughout the rehab process, and thanks to the results, my doctor has been very pleased with the rapid pace of my recovery. It's hard to make rehab fun, but Tonya and the rest of the staff at ACE made it a very rewarding experience, and I'm grateful to them.
Catch a Fish Wellness is AWESOME! Brian is so knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I have a chronic pain disorder (trigeminal neuralgia) for which I was taking 3 medications. With Brian’s help, I have been able to reduce the dose of one medication and eliminate another altogether. The office is peaceful and quiet and the office staff is always on top of things. It’s a really well run business and Brian is an effective healer. I highly recommend you give CAF a try if you are in pain.
