There is a barber shop very close to my house in the Fox Mill shopping center, but I drive over to KC (not _that_far) because it's always a great cut and it's the only place my wife will let cut my son's hair..

Walk in service on weekends. You take a number like at a dmv which I liked. Instead of someone going by assumption of who was there first. Reasonably priced especially in a college town. The barber knew what she was doing. Nice clean cut and I was on my way.
