Wow! Charlie and his team completely exceeded our expectations. His onsite crew was utterly professional as they deftly assembled 27 tons of boulders into a stunning work of art in less than a week. Our Koi are so happy in their new home. Amy and I are anticipating decades of enjoyment listening to the waterfalls, feeding the Koi, and marveling at how this massive, beautiful piece of artwork is actually sitting in our backyard.

I’m always nervous about having my gray hair colored so I started with a consultation appointment after reading her positive reviews. Annazette was professional, friendly and listened to my concerns and desires. She was knowledgeable about styling techniques and products so I scheduled with her. Annazette did a beautiful job! I wanted highlights for visual interest and dimension and I was pleased with the results. She is very professional and offers excellent, excellent customer service. The salon has a nice atmosphere, welcoming and comfortable and I plan to schedule with Annazette again.
I booked a same day appointment for my daughter to get her curly hair cut before school starts. They took their time washing, conditioning & cutting my daughter's hair. The stylist even showed me a way to twist and style my daughter's curls. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would recommend this salon.

Always love getting my hair done here, usually by Flora or Yani. Hair, wash and blow dry is included with SOME styles but I don’t mind either way. My hair always comes out beautifully with clean parts and just how I want it. Vibes in the salon are calm, quiet or friendly with conversation, music is playing, and the appointment always feels fast. No complaints so far.

It's a smaller salon, but wow! I loved it. First, I was greeting within a minute of stepping in, I arrived early and sat on a very comfortable couch. I had an appointment with Sarah. She was polite and excited about doing the cut I asked for. I showed her inspiration photos and was brought back for a wash, and relaxed and with a warm towel that had a lovely lavender scent. My cut was exactly what I asked for, she knew how to give me lots of texture and layers without losing too much length. I moved within the last 6 months and had a previously bad experience, I know where I'm going from now on.
Karena is the absolute best! She made my hair beautiful again and my eyebrows. She also cut my sons hair for the first time and was so patient and good with him. She didn't do anything that he was uncomfortable with. I recommend her salon 10/10.

I walked into the shop to get some information and spent about 30 minutes discussing the tattoo process and what I was looking at having done with Matt. Matt has a calming and pleasant demeanor and is very easy to talk to. This made it very easy to decide to get the tattoo that same day. throughout the entire process Matt was very reassuring. The tattoo came out perfect. I would highly recommend checking them out.

Bishop is my favorite artist. He fixed a tattoo I had gotten years earlier from a different studio from some amateur dirtbag. It was my first tattoo and I didn't know any better. If I had not moved from VA to Texas I would only go to this studio. If I had the money and time to fly and see Bishop for all my tatooo work that would be most ideal.

I’ve had the pleasure of having both Tre and Nikkole tattoo me so far. Tre is a great fine line artist that takes his time giving you exactly what you’re looking for. I gave him multiple references for a neotrad panther and he exceeded my expectations with what he designed and came up with as well as the execution. Nikkole is so light handed I was able to sit comfortably through my chest/neck piece for a few hours and am overjoyed with the outcome! Her black and grey work is phenomenal and I can’t wait to get more pieces from her as well as everyone else in the shop. 10/10 experience!

My sump pump stopped working and Danny H. was extremely helpful and knowledgable while taking the time to explain to me what the issue was. Once he replaced the sump pump he explained to me what he did, showed me the work and went above and beyond to clean the area. I am very pleased with the service I received today.
Called during the weekend about getting a hose bib replaced (not a rush job). I tried to DIY but wasn't in my skill set. Got a call back Monday morning, appointment scheduled for Thursday morning. Plumber showed up right on time and was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and overall great guy. Ended up having both hose bibs replaced (on my own accord) and a valve was added for easy shutoff at no extra cost. He showed me the old units and the failures (burst hose bibs). I was extremely satisfied with my experience and felt the pricing was very fair, especially after some follow research on Reddit. I will definitely be reaching out to Southern Spotsylvania Plumbing again for future needs. I believe my plumber's name was Matt, great guy. Photo attached of one of the old failed hose bibs.

I recently had a water issue at home and noticed stains on the ceiling and floor below. I called Alexander and Sons, and Joe came out to help.
I had already found that the leak was coming from the upstairs shower drain. Joe brought a new drain just in case, but after taking a closer look, he realized it was simply a gasket issue. He replaced the gasket, which saved me a lot of money. Joe was not only honest and knowledgeable, but also hilarious—he made the whole experience much less stressful. He also gave me helpful tips on what to watch for in the future.
I also want to mention Jennifer, Joe’s sister, who answered the phone when I first called. She was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. You can really tell this is a family that takes pride in their work.

Had a faulty valve replaced. Carol who is in the office was a tremendous help during our ordeal. We were without hot water for 11 days due to manufacturer not wanting to cover warranty but eventually they agreed. Thank you so much Carol & Thomas who replaced our part, we can now have hot showers instead of cold. Definitely recommend them.

I've had them come out twice to do work on my house, and I can say that they will be the only company that ever sets foot in my home to do electrical work. My oven igniter switch broke few weeks ago, the service man came over today with new part. He serviced switch within a hour and now my oven will cook a 16 pound turkey on Thanksgiving this Thursday! I gave 4-star because it was expensive for me.
HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING HERE. Rayu completely restored my phone. Both sides of my glass were cracked, my phone kept overheating, Bluetooth and GPS wasn’t working, silent, volume buttons weren’t working and it kept randomly turning off & on. Rayu explained everything in fine detail and had amazing customer service and was quick. My phone was fully restored and I was successfully able to trade it in for an iPhone 17 and it kept its trade in value. T-Mobile inspected my phone and said it was in near mint condition. All Star is amazing! I have never used a carpet cleaning company as competent, thorough and pleasant to work with before. I had major pet stains and was hoping not to have to replace all my carpeting and they made that possible. They did a multistep process, explained everything they were doing and it came out simply amazing! Glenn explained even the science behind how the treatments worked (which I loved!) Without hesitation they came back to retreat an area which we knew would likely be needed. This made a great improvement and there was no charge for this. Pricing was very fair, they were prompt with all communication and arrival to our home. We can now enjoy our home again and so happy to save lots of money on new flooring. Kevin does it all, and does it all well - he is the business owner, but he's also the person who comes to clean your carpets! So unlike a lot of companies that delegate their work down to employees who don't have a vested interest in the company, you get the business owner who really cares about the customer. I have to admit, we haven't gotten our carpets cleaned in a long time, but my friend recommended Kevin to us. Kevin was super responsive to email (even in the evening), and he showed up right on time once we settled on a date. He worked SO hard - his shirt was soaked with sweat by the end of the 4-5 hours. I'm never saw him even sit down for a break the entire time he was with us. And he was so pleasant when refilling his bucket with water. He even noticed our carpet was peeling back in one spot and stapled it back for us, and took care of this horrible stain on a white chair without us asking. When the carpets were done, they looked AH-MAZING! All those stains my kids tracked in were completely gone. Kevin said there were some spots he couldn't get out because I used the wrong cleaners on them but even those looked so much better. After the carpet dried, I noticed that it was a little brittle feeling, and having not gotten my carpet cleaned in a long time, I wasn't sure if this is normal/expected. Kevin was so kind with my questions, and insisted on coming over immediately to feel the carpet himself. He said what I felt is normal but was so willing to wash the carpet again with water if that would make me feel better. I can't say enough good things about Kevin and his customer service. Oh, and did I mention the prices?? They were so reasonable - $35 a room (up to 150 square feet)!

All of Virginia roofing did an excellent job for me. I had hail and wind damage. Kenny Matute was great. He inspected initially and found the damage that was creating the leak and then also found where it was leaking in other areas I didn’t know about.
Kenny then was at my home waiting for the insurance adjuster to make sure I was being properly treated. From then on the claim and the new roof all went on perfectly. G & C Lawn Care just completed multiple projects in my yard and I highly recommend them! They were responsive, fast, prompt, thorough, and had excellent communication. They went above and beyond what was expected and agreed upon. They removed a large tree that was very close to my house and ground the stump with no damage to the surrounding gardens. They removed a great deal of yard waste, rotten firewood, brush, and small trees, pruned larger trees, expanded two gardens, and cleaned the roof. Cesar and his crew cleaned up everything they did and more. They even found and removed venomous snakes in areas where my grandson and dog play. I am already planning more projects for G and C to do!

Tree Tines is the third company I’ve used for tree services over the years and by far the best. Crew showed up as promised, did the agreed upon work at the price quoted and completed the entire job (several trees cut down, several trees pruned) in under 5 hours leaving no debris behind. Tree Times even did a couple of extra things at no charge to show their appreciation.
Other companies I used in the past took days to complete smaller jobs. One of those companies left without finishing, but still tried to insist I pay the total estimate.

We've worked with Blue Ridge twice to clear trees. The most recent job (Sep 2025) included taking down a maple overhanding our carport, a pear tree close to wires, and deadwooding twin oak trees that are very special to us. We were concerned about whether the oaks would retain their shape, and shade. They did. The work was on time, on budget, and most of all, it was perfect. Not a word I use often. I trust them to do a thorough job, taking care of both the property and the trees. Highly recommended.
Huber's Tree Service took down 2 large trees for us and did an excellent job! Brad was great to work with, excellent communication, showed up on time, and went above and beyond our expectations. If you need trees taken down, look no further. We will definitely be using him again in the future if we need more trees removed. Would give 6 stars if I could.

This Dentist does the extraction of teeth and dental implants. My wife had to get two teeth extracted this morning and the staff is very nice and very efficient. Doctor Ryan M Bailey extracted her two teeth. He did a excellent job and was very nice. They were very quick and thorough through this process and made it a excellent process for my wife. They put her to sleep because of her anxiety and we're done In around 30 minutes. Then they were very thorough in explaining everything to do afterwards. They even took the time to wish me a happy birthday today. This is a excellent place to go if you need your teeth extracted.
I really appreciated all the things that Dr Fusaro and the staff did to make me feel at ease throughout the cleaning and also having a crown put on my tooth. They asked frequently about how I was doing, they offered a neck pillow to make me more comfortable and even shaded glasses so that I wasn’t staring at the overhead light. I definitely plan on returning for my general teeth care.
Customer Service is number one. Amanda is extremely friendly and personable. Taking Care to be very careful and does a wonderful job cleaning. Do a fantastic job dental work from Whiting, cleaning, orthodontics, and preventive Care.My family and I have been going to them for over 20 years. Trust them to do the job.

My 5 month old has had difficulty nursing and preferred only one side. He also has had reflux on and off that would cause him to scream for hours at night. I took him today for his first visit and I can immediately see a difference! He seems so much more comfortable, he’s nursing fantastically on both sides with the best latch he’s ever had. He also rolled over effortlessly, which he struggled with before. I’m so thankful I took this step to get him seen and treated. Dr. Erica Heppe was amazing with him and made me feel at peace with everything as this was my first experience with chiropractic care. The entire staff was so kind and the office was very inviting for all ages. We will definitely be visiting regularly!

Now pregnant with our fourth, I’m still just as happy as I was when I first started. He adjusted our second a few days after he was born to current. (As long as you’re being seen, your baby is seen for a full year for free ?) that was something I was looking for an an office and I was happy to find it with HOH! They also have packages that make adjustments a little cheaper and I’m all for that as well! They’re always able to work you in, even if you don’t have an appointment.. as long as you’re understanding and willing to wait if necessary. JP has been able to manage all pregnancy, postpartum and infant needs. You won’t regret it! ?
I've been seeing Dr. Caiafa for over 15yrs on and off when needed and he and the staff are always great. First he got my back aligned after a sports injury that caused me to walk heavy on one foot leading to pain in sole. Now he regularly gets me adjusted whenever my back or neck isn't feeling right.
Had my first appointment with Dr. Ward today. Had an extremely informative conversation and was impressed, he's clearly very intelligent. His equipment was new and high quality. He gave me a great, tension relieving adjustment. We also talked about plans for future treatments for my chronic lower lumbar pain. Dr. Ward shed light on some mistakes I was making, regarding icing vs moist heating. I go to pain management, get injections, take pain meds, but am not a cadidate for surgery. His ideas for the future definitely gave me something I haven't had in some time... I left with hope.

We unfortunately had to put our baby boy Baxter down. He had a terrible eye tumor that spread. The veterinarian and staff were sooooo incredibly compassionate to us. Hands down the best around.
Dr. Moga is absolutely amazing! She came out on an emergency call when my OTTB mare, Lassie, tried to scalp herself. The damage turned out to be much worse than we initially thought, and I was out of town at the time. Dr. Moga went above and beyond to keep me informed, sharing pictures and providing recommendations for caring for Lassie's wound.
She did an exceptional job stitching her up, and I’m thrilled to say Lassie healed beautifully with barely a scar. I cannot recommend Dr. Moga highly enough for her skill, compassion, and dedication.
We have been going to this veterinarian clinic for over 20 yrs. During that time, they have provided exceptional care and services for our menagerie of pets. Dr. Wagner, Dr. Minniear, Dr. Bakerian and staff have always been available in an emergency or just for an annual checkup and boosters. In addition to providing veternarian care, they also provide special diets, grooming and boarding services.
England Run Veterinary Clinic has been with us on the most routine visits as well as the most tragic ones. They've shown incomparable compassion and consideration at every visit. I'm surprised to see other reviews remarking on high prices, because having been a pet owner with medically complex animals for two decades, this place seems to almost under-price their services. I've never walked out feeling like I got less than my money's worth for the care received, and they always are ready with various options to meet price-point needs. More than anything, they've established relationships of trust with our animals almost instantly, every time. Even when dealing with my almost 21 year old cat who is not friendly to strangers. She got feisty with them at first, but ultimately left less disgruntled than the start of the visit. It was nearly miraculous. She has since passed, and I was devastated at the time. ERVC staff went above and beyond to help me in my time of grief. I could barely function as I walked in that day, and they scooped us right up and wrapped us in the care you might find in long-time friends or family. When we ended up taking on a very unexpected new kitten, they instant started things off right with him too. He now seems to enjoy his rides to the vet, and knows that he's going to get all the snuggles and love he desires.

The team here absolutely saved my dog Qira's life. She would have died if it hadn't been for this wonderful place. The service and attention has always been top notch. She was there every day from open to close until she was better. Dr. Ahmad cares more for his animal patients than any vet I've ever met. I would give 10 stars if I could. Where do I even begin. Yesterday our cat fell extremely ill and we rushed her to a local vet. Testing and xrays showed a bad uterus infection requiring immediate emergency surgery. We were then told "She needs emergency surgery but we close at 5" My wife not knowing what else to do called Lees Hill Pet Hospital. They immediately said bring her here. Verifying what the other vet had diagnosed they immediately rushed her back and performed the necessary surgery. The OWNERS, vets and Staff stayed until almost 9pm with us, hours after they closed. Offered us water and were in constant communication as to the current condition of our cat. They also checked on her throughout the night ensuring she was doing ok, monitoring her vitals. I have never in my life had an animal hospital show such compassion and love for us and our animal. We will NEVER go anywhere else from this day forward. We can not thank them enough for their time, effort and compassion. They truly saved her life.
I have never had a bad experience at Hartwood Animal Hospital! I've been going to Dr. Jewett since they opened. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. It shows in how she interactes with the animals she treats!
My cat had an emergency and needed to be seen asap. They were able to get me an appointment within the next hour and was able to get my cat the medication she needed to get her feeling healthy.

Took my cat Charlie in the beginning of the year for some dental care. The Dr was up front about the care he needed - a full extraction. The price they quoted was very fair and they did their best to honor that quote even though the procedure was a little more difficult than anticipated. ~8 months later Charlie is a new man living his best life.

Booking the appointment online was very easy, uploading vet records and choosing which services we needed couldn’t have been simpler. Morning of drop off the staff was quick and efficient. Paper work and payment mostly all done prior to drop off. We used the Ashland location and couldn’t be happier with the care and services provided to our puppy.
De-De is a Dog Whisperer to the umpteenth level! She has a way with dogs that is truly amazing ! One of my dogs is a "Biter". I brought a muzzle in one day and De-De shook her head "No", and that was it. Jake (from State Farm a Bossi-Poo)), along with his 2 other siblings ( Chai ( a malti-poo) and Dusty ( a Rescue that De-De suggested we go see at Petco after she had groomed all 4 puppies (3 years ago).. the best rescue ever !! For both of us ! The Patience, the Love, the Kindness, the Gentle Touch and the Eye Contact that says so much, is what is bestowed towards each and every one of your poochies. Carolyn is the best! My large Golden Retreiver puppy can be a handful at times but Carolyn takes great care of him. He looks like a million bucks when she's finished and he loves going. Highly recommended.

Our chocolate lab was just treated to a bath and de-shed at Beauty in the Beast and our beast, indeed, came out beautiful! Not only were all of those clumps gone, replaced by a wonderful-smelling cleanness, she seemed very at-ease and untraumitized by the whole experience! Last week, she had her nails cut and teeth brushed. Diva highly recommends Beauty in the Beast and really likes the humans there.
