My health team has worked with me so wonderfully, Natasha Williams is a very understanding and caring doctor. Unfortunately I don't know the names of every person of my care team. I had a woman that took my vitals and realized that she helped save my life from Guillain-Barre Syndrome. There were also two men that also helped with saving my life. I hope I'll get to see them again to thank them for helping save my life too. The Traverse health clinic is one that I would recommend people to go to. Every person that I have met

My family including extended family has used this company frequently for beautiful, simple grave markers which we like. This year they created a stone for my dear daughter remotely as we are summer resorters from NYS. I didnt order the stone in time for the burial but they installed it later and texted the finished product. Jason and all are professional, patient and knowledgeable. They were so helpful and great at communicating. Five Stars all tve way!!
We used Grand Traverse Timber Frame for our Tasting Room project. The company was so great to work with. They did engineering work, had timbers made and shipped. They had staff on hand at delivery day to make sure everything went smooth. Everything was well packaged in bundles, labeled and easy to work with. The timbers are beautiful and we could not be happier with this company!
Patricia and Barb are lovely. I stopped in for a quote on a broken zipper on my ski bibs, and not only did Patricia fix it on the spot in about 10 minutes — right before closing time — the fee was more than reasonable. I’ll definitely be using this shop again in the future.

I’ve bounced around barbershops for years trying to find someone who can actually listen and consistently deliver, and Angie at The Takeover is the real deal. She takes the time to make sure everything is right, but still works fast. She understands modern styles and knows how to clean it up without taking too much length off. I showed her a picture of a modern mullet fade and she matched it to a T. The shop has a great atmosphere, the website is clean and easy to book through, and the pricing is impossible to beat for the quality you get. This place is the reason I stopped going anywhere else. Best barbershop in Northern Michigan.

Montana at Polished Nail Boutique is now my absolute go-to for pedicures in TC. The space is inviting and cozy, with a great mix of gel options. During my visit, I brought in a nail color they didn’t have exactly, but Montana worked with me and helped me find something so close I ended up liking it even more!
I love that Montana took her time and focused on the details, so my nails always look perfect without feeling rushed. At larger nail salons, I'm almost always in some sort of pain (cut of the cuticle, rubbed my skin raw, poked me with their tools). But Montana's services was absolutely painless and refreshing! I've never felt better after a pedicure, truly.

Tracy always does a fantastic job on my nails, I literally recommend tc nails to everyone I met. This last time she did black nails with little flowers and leaves on them and they look AMAZING. The details are perfect, I don’t know how she does it.
The nail tech I seen was working on his 32nd birthday and had plans to go home and make a nice dinner. He still took the time to make sure my nails looked literally perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough. Not to mention I was a walk in and walked out less than an hour later.

I am grateful every single day for the staff, facilities, and community at Cordia at the Grand Traverse Commons. My mother has lived there for about a year, and it has truly proven to be an excellent fit. She has just the right level of support for her daily living needs, along with a wonderful network of friends and a calendar full of activities she genuinely enjoys. She sings in the choir, takes exercise classes, and rides her electric cart down to the Mercado to shop or check out the latest at the Farmers’ Market.
She often hosts friends and family in the restaurant or pub, warm, welcoming spaces that make every day feel both social and special. Her apartment is beautiful—and, in a small miracle, just around the corner from my mother-in-law, who moved to Cordia last fall. It’s such a joy to see them both thriving.

Jacquilyn did an excellent job installing a new bathroom vent fan and modifying duct work for a fan/light assembly in a second bathroom. This required duct work modification in the attic area of our house on an extremely hot day, but she completed the task and has everything working well for us. Great job Jacquilyn!

Bob installed a water softener, drain, sink and reworked some plumbing for us. I had a rough idea on how I wanted it and he worked with me to get it perfect. The team at D&W Mechanical went above and beyond our expectations in helping with our heating and cooling needs. We had issues at our cottage five years after installation of our mini-split system. D&W stood behind their work, and repaired a major issue for us that typically wouldn't have been covered under the system warranty. We couldn't be more impressed with their customer service, their communication, fast service, and willingness to help our family. We are super grateful and will be customers for life.

I was introduced to the 45th team for a bigger kitchen project. I liked how knowledgable but curious their team was to do the job right, that I asked them to come do some other more complicated electrical work in our very old home. Stephen and his team were great for so many reasons!
1. Super responsive and prompt: I never went more than 12 hours with getting a response on a question or coordinating the appointment. 12 hours was honestly the longest and that was because it was the weekend!
2. Clarity in pricing: our old home had literal wires crossed causing lots of light switches to turn off power in other areas of the home. We knew this might take time to figure out, even with the best electrician. Stephen was upfront on how he felt would be the best way to bill us for this time so we weren't overpaying or so that he wouldn't have to add time/spend if it took longer.
3. Speed and quality: his team showed up right on time the day of the appointment, got right to work, and finished sooner than expected. Everything has been working fantastically since the 45th team came to untangle the wiring mess. And our new light fixtures also look so good!
Cannot recommend them enough, thank you guys for the great work!!!

Brian installed a fan on a 12-foot sloped ceiling, where there was no existing light fixture, where wiring had to be accessed in our attic, including adding a support bracket between joists. He and his assistant worked diligently, efficiently, safely, and got the job done right. It looks great. I would hire Mag-Wire again in a heartbeat.
Two other electricians could not solve the problem of 4 outlets that lost power. Chris solved the problem in 10 minutes. Definitely recommend.

I retained Top Line to wire our home with in-wall network cabling. They helped me plan out the wiring, found good solutions to tricky areas, did the work on time, and did it well. The cost lined up with the original estimate. I couldn't ask for more than what they did on this job!
Bill saved me today! While changing a light fixture in my 1893 home I ended up causing a wire to disconnect in my attic! Afraid of causing a house fire I panicked and started calling electricians. Apparently many are not servicing private residences anymore. Bill was so kind and understanding. He came quickly and secured my wiring and will be sending someone this coming week to run new wire and make sure my home is safe. There are no words to express my gratitude.

We called Heritage Wood Floors to restore 23-year-old pre-finished Brazilian cherry wood floors that had extreme sun damage and fading after hearing a great review from a neighbor who had recently used this company. We were not disappointed. Bill came out to assess our floors and said they could probably be brought back to 80% of what they had originally looked like. We were happy that he thought they could look that good again, as some places in the floor were very yellowed, while spaces under furniture and area rugs looked brand new. The discrepancy between spaces was dramatic. Bill worked within our tight time-frame to have the job completed, and Tim refinished our floors. He did an AMAZING job. The floors look better now than they did when we originally installed them. 80% recovery was way surpassed, and the floors now look brand new. We are thrilled. Bill and Tim were friendly, professional, and obviously take great pride in their work. We could not be more happy with the results, and have already recommended Heritage to friends needing floor refinishing. This was a great experience. Thank you Bill and Tim!

Bill Clous from Eastwood Custom Homes stepped in after I lost my builder on my custom home at the point where it was dried in. Several builders refused to take the job because of the perceived liability. The Eastwood team inspected all the work that had been done and unfortunately found that the majority of the work including siding, framing, windows and roof had been installed incorrectly. They immediately got started on the repairs and with almost daily contact have fixed everything and now are continuing to the interior. Bills many years of experience have allowed him to find many problems with my design and make the necessary adjustments saving me from long term problems and expenses down the line. The vertical integration of Eastwood’s companies especially the home store where I bought all my interior trims and fittings saved me a lot of time, money and frustration. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. It can be a daunting task to find a good home builder so if your looking for a HONEST and experienced builder, Eastwood could be your builder.
We had a complete home build done by Pinegrove and they made it as easy as possible. Matt and Blair were very friendly, professional and always stayed in touch during process. We have been in our house about 6 months and have had very minor issues which were addressed very quickly even on a Sunday. We would recommend Pinegrove to anyone looking to have a new build done.

This place was amazing. We are renting so can’t speak to some logistics obviously. But were super professional. And hugely just amazing with the excited curious kids. Toddler boy is all “working guy” 110%. They were kind and friendly to him, showed him stuff, checked in with him throughout about a few things. I was embarrassed to ask to save/separate a pile of sticks that was our “pirate ship” and they didn’t bat an eye to set them all aside. 1000% this place is worth whatever they charge for their friendliness, mindfulness and they cleaned up amazing.

Incredible vet clinic for our 3 year old lab. Our first visit was just a yearly check up for our girl and they were so kind and good with her as her puppy lab behavior still hasn’t worn off. Our second visit, I had to bring my toddler and they met me at my car to get my dog as they saw I had my toddler, took the dog inside and into the room, totally accommodated our experience to make it as easy as possible for a mom with a toddler and dog. On top of great pet care, they are great at pet parent interaction. I wish I could leave 10/5 stars.

She often finds issues and tender spots you did not even realize you had. She will tell you your ailments/tight spots and suggest stretches you can do to help yourself at home. She is often available with a phone call to meet you at her office on your time schedule. She is easily the best and most knowledgeable in Traverse City and her prices are extremely reasonable making her affordable and accessible to all.
