I'm visiting the area for a week, and took two of Missi's classes. Both were challenging in all the good ways. She was very attentive to each client's form and corrected what needed to be corrected. I felt restored after each class! Will highly recommend and be visiting again, when I'm back in the area!
Anyone who takes private pilates sessions regularly understands how crucial it is to find passionate experts in true, classical pilates. We need it when we travel just as much as we need it at home! I was recommended to Pilates Sestina by my home studio in Hilton Head/Bluffton SC (Salt Water Pilates) and couldn’t be more satisfied. This is now my pilates home whenever I’m in Traverse City!
Just did a couples session with my wife and loved it! I’m a physical therapist and endurance coach and used to talking to clients about their bodies and how they’re moving. Missi was wonderful and helped to teach us about our brain-body connection to bring more awareness to how we’re moving. She noticed minor asymmetries that I was unaware of and gave great cues on how to correct the deficits. I highly recommend Missi at Pilates Sestina if you want to learn about deficits/asymmetries in your body and how to be more aware of your movement! Thanks Missi!
