What a find. I had actually stopped by a few cleaners before stumbling upon this establishment. Came here for an issue with my jacket zipper and (one of the) owners was an awesome guy all around. Not only did he fix the issue right away, which showed he is masterful in the craft, he was notably professional, friendly, approachable, and honest. It was clear he is proud of his business and by the looks of it was meticulously run with very nice staff. Although I’m only visiting, I’m glad to hear my family will start coming here because businesses like this are a rare find these days.

Miguel and his team at DeckMaxtor did an exceptional job building our new deck and the platform for our shed. From the initial estimate through the final walkthrough, he was responsive, professional, and very detail‑oriented. He clearly explained the design, materials, and timeline up front, and followed through exactly as promised. In addition, their price estimate was almost half of another quote.
Overall, the quality of workmanship and customer service far exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend Miguel and DeckMaxtor to anyone looking to build a new deck or outdoor structure.

I got the best haircut and color of my life with neda. I was very nervous the very first time as a new client because in the past I had bad experiences w other stylists. But neda is amazing. I have been going to Grace after seeing tons of glowing recommendations on Next Door. There are SO many salons and I’ve exclusively been a Vidal Sassoon gal but driving to Tysons has just become so hard in the last 10 years. I was elated when I found Grace. She is literally the most talented person and she not only cut my hair, but did bayalage for me and keeps it up—totally low maintenance. She is all about keeping your hair healthy and is a font of knowledge and style.Before my daughter’s Make A Wish trip, she had been commenting on how she hates that she has to wait until the end of summer to be blonde (she was always dark blonde that bleaches in the light, but her hair has gotten darker as she has gotten older) and I asked if she wanted to do a bayalage like mom. We looked at some pictures, talked over some options with Grace, and came up with an amazing look. My daughter has a TON of hair and it took a long time but Grace was so patient and played high school musical for my daughter and kept her chatty and she just loved the whole experience.I’ve also gotten to know Grace after all my appointments and I seriously would not trust my hair to anyone else. She takes her job really seriously and you can see why with her gallery of amazing hair creations. It really is art + science.Her salon is sunny, positive, calming and comfortable. I had been going to my barbershop since elementary school and my barber became my barber when I was in high school. I didn't find a place that I liked in Virginia, I didn't even bothered to try in DC, and before settling here, I tried 5 other barbers before Devin. Devin gets me right all the time. All of the barbers are Legacy's have great skills.

This place seems to have a lot of regular customers, and the prices are very reasonable. Haircuts are done quickly but with great attention to detail. I brought my son here for a haircut and was very impressed. The barbers are all Asian, speak English well, and work very carefully but efficiently. The shop is very clean and smells fresh. Literally the best nail salon in the DMV. The salon itself is so beautiful and each and every tech is so welcoming !! They offer refreshments like coffee & tea, water, snacks, and candy! On top of that, her salon space is welcoming, ridiculously clean, organized and comfortable. Icing on top is that shes super cool, friendly and ai enjoyed laughing with her as well. This was one of the best services I’ve had. I got short acrylic nails and omg the service, atmosphere, and nail tech were all top tier. I brought my son to see Sonya at EmpressStyles that us located inside Signature Salon Pro. We had the most amazing experience. First of all, let me say, Sonya knows what she's doing. I have taken my son to other stylists all over MoCo, and this is the FIRST place we have been that was just totally ON POINT with what he needed and wanted. Not only did she recreate his locs, she educated us each step of the way as to what she was doing and why she was doing it. She was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgable, and super efficient.

They did an amazing job on me and my bridesmaids yesterday! They styled our hair for $100 a person which was very reasonable. All the stylists were involved and they made us feel very special and like we were in good hands! At one point I had 3-4 people working on me. I felt bad because I was exhausted and kept falling asleep in the chair 😂 but to be fair it was a very relaxing experience. I will update with photos when I have them.

This was a GREAT experience. I got a full brazilian and anywhere else i’ve gone has been painful (as expected when doing sensitive areas) but this experience was not! Jada was very gentle but also so quick! She was also very sweet! It was worth every penny. AND this was the cheapest brazilian in the area!

We scheduled another appointment for him to resolve everything, and he arrived promptly, working diligently to fix the problem. My kitchen sink was clogged and I called several companies to ask a quote and a service as soon as possible. They couldn't give me a quote unless a technician come to my house to take a look. Then I called Blue Mountain after work hours. Kevin called me back a few minutes later. He gave me a reasonable quote right over the phone, and scheduled me for the 9am next morning. The next day they came on time and did a great job. They even fixed a small issue of my kitchen faucet as a favor. I highly recommend their service and will use them again in the future for any plumbing issue!
I was referred to Hurst by my home warranty company. Tom & Cody came out for a bathtub leak and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Tom was nice enough to look at a couple other issues in the home and schedule an appointment to come back to fix those. He took time to answer this paranoid first-time homeowner's questions. I couldn't have asked for better people to fix our plumbing problems.

I have used Advanced Plumbing a few times now for the building I manage. Great Staff! They are knowledgeable and friendly. They offer competitive pricing and timely service. I highly recommend them.
We had a sewer back up which was cleared by another company on an emergency basis. However, that company told us we had an issue that would require replacement of sewer pipes located under the finished basement concrete floor. We needed a second opinion to verify if the estimated $9,000 work was really needed.
Master Plumbing was able to schedule us within a few days and verified the appointment the day before. The plumber (Billy) arrived promptly, was very professional and respectful, asked all the appropriate questions, and then proceeded to set up his equipment while protecting all surrounding surfaces. The camera images were very clear and he explained exactly what he saw on the monitor as he moved the camera along the pipes. He then gave us the thumb drive that he used to record the entire inspection. Finally, he reset the toilet that was removed for access to the sewer pipes, caulked it neatly to the tile floor, and completely cleaned the area.
It was clear from this inspection, that the plumber from the first company was not honest, and was just trying to sell us very expensive work that was not needed. I was helped and checked out on two separate visits by several wonderful associates named Ana, Jose, Evelyn, Mike(manager) and Vishal. These folks were AWESOME! The associates were warm and friendly and did everything they could to ensure I got what I needed. Mike came in to assist with an issue at checkout and to help try to locate an item that showed in-stock. He was a total PRO and offered intelligent conversation while we scoured the store for a tool kit I wanted. Overall, the store was clean and well organized. It seems like this Home Depot is a step above the neighboring ones, so I'd suggest a visit if you are in need of home improvement. I would also seek out one of these very kind people to assist you during your visit. I'm close to Aspen Hill and Bethesda, but this store seems to be worth the additional travel time.
Guarantee Carpet is so customer friendly! They are very responsive especially if there's an urgent cleaning need. And they do a great job cleaning carpets and upholstery. Technicians are always courteous as well.

I highly recommend this company!!!! This is a rental property and tenant left a big mess..a team of two ladies came and cleaned so well, I thought it was brand new. The one wall had lots of sticky tapes, they removed, scrubbed the walls, floorboards, fridge looks brand new, the bathroom were scrubbed clean, things were stuck to floor and I thought it would not come off, but the cleaned it up. I do a lot of move out and this company by far is the best.
PS - The tenant didn't pay electric bill, so it was shut off and there was mold in fridge. These ladies did such a great job. I posted a picture of fridge (wish I had the before picture), this fridge looks brand new. Also I posted picture of the wall because tenant had taped things to the whole wall, I came back to check once done and I wanted to hug the ladies. I took videos so I am going to try and post the before and after.
They are magicians!! I told them to just do their best thinking it was an impossible task, but they understood the assignment.

Our salesman from Md. Carpet & tile was Jacob Devereux. He was a very diligent and thorough salesman, honest and with integrity. We had 2 1/2 floors of sanded, stained and OLV installed. As happens during construction, there were a couple of hiccups. Jacob made sure that the work was done to our satisfaction. We hired Frame Kitchen & Bath to redo our upstairs bathroom. Upon meeting with Adam he explained everything and was at our house daily. The workers were here right on time everyday and worked all day nonstop (except for lunch). While here they answered any questions we had. Needless to say the bathroom turned out beautiful and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire or recommend them. Thanks for the beautiful bathroom!
Excellent service with new carpet and installation. I had them write an estimate on a primary bath remodel- their ideas were spot on. I ended up using a different contractor and I regret it.
Great experience, beginning with coming out to review our flooring problem and providing a reasonable estimate to make the repair. Armando and one other gentleman did amazing, fast work fixing our LVP flooring. Our only regret is not knowing them before we changed our flooring because it would have been done properly in the first place. If we end up scrapping this LVP crap and going to hardwood floors, our first and only call will be to S&H Flooring.
Luzbin evaluated a repair for old wood floors and he was able to do a patch repair per my request to hold us over until we can do a full repair. The estimate was exactly what was charged. Everything was very easy and communications were clear. Thank you, Luzbin!

This is a fantastic roofing company. I had a leaking roof and Skylight. They are prompt, courteous, do great work, and I compared them to several other roofing companies. No comparison. The prices are better than other roofing companies who could not even get back to me without me bugging them. I have used this company twice now on 2 different houses

I had my deck redone with Trex compost wood and a gazebo built on the deck. Elegant Homes did a good job on the deck. The gazebo is screened in and is strong and well built. While the construction was great, esthetically I expected more. The white guard rail on the steps doesn’t match the brown color scheme of the deck. I intend to paint over the white wrap around the deck and the white vent at the top of the gazebo. I also would have wanted embellishments around the top of the gazebo to add to its appeal. I’m sure I would enjoy my deck and gazebo for many years, I just would have wanted it to look more appealing.
Our oil heat furnace broke on what felt like the coldest day in November, and Mallick Mechanical truly came to the rescue. They were the only company able to come out the same day to assess the situation and provide an estimate. Tyler was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly helpful in walking us through the process of converting to a heat pump and installing a new AC unit.

I had a large tree fall in my front yard completely blocking my driveway. It was the morning before a large snow/ice storm was forecasted. I needed this tree cleared immediately. I called a few companies and received various quotes. j & b answered my call, and arrived to assess the situation in less than 30 minutes. They provided a quote that was very fair, and in fact was less than the other quotes I had received. I agreed, and they got right to work. They removed the tree, which was precariously leaning against another large tree, with expert capability. Before I knew it, the job was done. When I went to inspect, there was no evidence the event had ever happened. They cleaned ALL the debris, and left no sign they had even been there. They were friendly and informative at a time when I needed honest answers. I would HIGHLY recommend j & b, and I will not hesitate to call them again should I ever need any tree services.

Beautiful Country Tree Service did a great job. The only problem I had was that on the first day of my appointment which was at 1pm, they came late at about 1:45pm, other than this everything went well. Their workers who came another day to cut down the tree came on time and were very professional. These workers did an excellent job. They clean up after their work and also grinded the stump.
Garcias removed a 48 year old maple tree from my front lawn and removed the stump. They arrived on time, did an excellent job and cleaned up the site. In past years they trimmed many trees and shrubs and removed wind damaged trees. I highly recommend their services.

His small team came on a Saturday morning and worked very efficiently - they were done by around lunch time. Very pleased with their work.

Marvin’s treatment including dry needling has been extremely effective to treat a calf and lower back injury. He is knowledgeable and offers a variety of options for treatment including follow up exercises. The office staff is great too! Dr. Grace Lohr is an excellent chiropractor. When I first saw her, I had been dealing with sciatic pain in my lower left back for about two months. After receiving treatment from Dr. Lohr, my condition improved significantly, and for over a year now, I haven’t experienced that pain again. Dr Lee is amazing, extremely knowledgeable in chiropractic work, and her staff too are wonderful. I was treated for a whiplash accident. I frantically contacted Kentlands Veterinary Hospital when I needed urgent help with my dog. It was near closing and my own vet practice wouldn't stay late to see my dog. I called an emergency vet and they said there was an 8 hour wait. I called Kentlands vet and said I wasn't a client, but I desperately needed help. The doctor offered to stay late to see my dog even though I wasn't a client. She is clearly passionate about animals, placing their needs above her own. She was quickly able to diagnose the problem and literally saved me hours of waiting and hundreds of dollars at the emergency vet. I was so grateful for the excellent care and even more for the extreme kindness in our time of need. Can't say enough wonderful things about this place!

Our dog had terrible allergy reactions back in 2020 and Dr. Jeffers was able to find alternative ways to help him and minimize his struggles without long term steroid treatment. We could not be happier with both Dr. Jeffers and Anjeli and the way our dog has transformed over the past two years. They never gave up on trying different ways to help him until he made complete recovery. We will always be grateful for their help and dedication.
Dr Petros is our go too. He is there when you need him! He saved our dogs life twice and kept him on 24 hour care. We were not a regular at this office and he saved our dogs life on a holiday. He put a jumpsuit over a suit and tie and came in to help us. He saved our dogs life on two separate occasions. He was able to make a diagnose fast when time matters and help us get an appointment with oncology in DC. He was there for us even though we were not his full time patients. We made the switch to this office and won’t look back. I would give more stars if I could!

This clinic is exceptional for their service, care, and expertise. I have brought my cat at this facility for about 5 years and I have always been very impressed with their care and expertise about the matters of my cat(s). When one of my cats passed they personally wrote me a letter saying their condolences with hand written signatures. They are reliable and professional. The veterinarian is very informative and comes from personal experience when she provides me with guidance on matters concerning my cat. I have no complaints! Dr. Megan Giebel is absolutely wonderful. Our pet has been with her since she was 8 weeks old and now she's 12 and has been brought through much over the years. Dr. Megan spotted a cancer that was successfully treated because of her early diagnosis.
Overall, GAH has been absolutely incredible over the last decade I have been coming. Recently I had a sick kitty and they were able to get him in, treated and got him on his way to recovery. I could not be more thankful for them and everything they did!
Everyone has always been kind, friendly, and professional. Dr. Bennett is the only veterinarian I trust. The facility is very nice and clean.
Most times I have to give a new groomer several old haircut pics of my Bernadoodle. Not here. I told them how I wanted him cut, they listened, took notes, and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely come back!
Bahar is a miracle worker. I work with a local rescue and we got a dog that was in such bad shape. After calling three different groomers who told us the dog needed to be sedated, I called doggy spaw and Bahar Told me to bring the dog over and that she would make sure we got all the mats off of this poor little baby. She was so kind and gentle with the dog and performed her miracle work with precision and kindness. I can’t thank Bahar enough for making time for us to help this sweet little baby. I highly recommend bringing your dog to doggy spaw!!!
I have joined this studio earlier this Spring and have been so grateful for the strength and relaxation the classes I have been attending have brought to me. All instructors are absolutely wonderful and I especially enjoy the classes taught by Marc. I just wish I started this journey sooner.

The massage from Anna was superb! Delivered with certifiably professional hands and exceptional technique that made the entire session memorable.
Unfortunately, arranging the appointment involved dealing with an apprehensive manager who came across as oddly defensive, which gave me the strong impression that they didn’t want my business. That stung, especially since I give good tips to show appreciation for the hard work.
I was also distracted by the constant sound of microwaves and cooking noise coming from the hallway, and it ultimately led me to look elsewhere for future visits.
Highly recommend Anna, though. I didn't have a chance to make appointments with anyone else.

I had a mixup with Google maps, and it took me to 402 main street in THURMONT! When we realized my mistake and that it would take me an hour to get from that Main street to the correct Main Street, not only did she not charge me a cancelation fee, but she worked quickly to rearrange her other appointments so she could still get me in the same day.
She was so accommodating and kind and clearly cares very much for all her clients.
This was my first prenatal massage (30 weeks pregnant) and she made me extremely comfortable, arranging all the pillows to support my growing belly. It was heavenly. I highly recommend her! I will be going back again before baby arrives and continue going after. :-)

My wife and I went here for a couple's massage and it was amazing to say the least. The massage were very nice and attentative. Strongly considering a membership, which is reasonably priced.

Call ahead to make an appt. No frills place and each table is separated by curtains. The ladies do serious massage here and it’s clean.
It works out to less than $1 per hour as you need to make it up in tip. So 90 min session is like $70. I tip $15-20 per hour or up to $40 total on top for 90 mins. You can easily pay $150 elsewhere without tip for a mid quality massage. I drive over an hour for this massage.

Lina sweetly explained that she operates strictly by appointment and doesn’t accept walk-ins. She personally walked me through the booking process with such patience and clarity. After my payment was confirmed, I received my private approval code and detailed instructions. Upon arrival, I saw exactly why that code matters. Another gentleman without one was politely turned away at the front desk — he admitted he didn’t know appointments were required and had to step out to book properly. Without hesitation or reservation I would recommend Sophie Deng highly. Having dealt with lower back pain for many years I have been to several Physical Therapists - she is head and shoulders above all and none even come close. While many PT’s appear to pull out a handbook and make suggestions that appear to be in the “let’s try this one” category, Sophie clearly took a good look at what my specific problem is and developed a set of exercises tailored to it. She is professional, conscientious and attentive throughout my visits. First class.
Hiza is a wondrously gifted physical therapist. He had helped me recover from a broken collarbone with frozen shoulder, a sprained ankle, and a triple-break in my ankle. He has also helped my wife recover from a frozen shoulder and my son strengthen his muscles to better resist dislocations caused by Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. In addition to knowing how to help the body recover, he knows how to make therapy a pleasure with his pleasant banter and caring nature.
I had a wonderful experience at this acupuncture clinic. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The acupuncturist took the time to listen to my concerns, explained the treatment process clearly, and provided personalized care.

I go to this doctor for acupuncture every time my eczema flares up or if I'm feeling too stressed throughout the year and every time I go here I always feel more relaxed! Dr. Li is so nice and sweet, and she makes me feel comfortable during every visit I have with her! She always recommends some herbal medicine for me to help with my eczema flares and they've helped a lot! I would highly recommend going here for acupuncture!
I started seeing Dr. Zhao after pulling a muscle in my back. I wanted to explore another option to medication. I am so glad I did!!! Dr. Zhao is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, kind and keeps a clean space. After just a couple of treatments I started feeling so much better. She even treated my knee that started acting up because I was walking differently due to the pain in my back. Dr. Zhao is also VERY flexible with scheduling appointments and will see you almost immediately after contacting her. I highly recommend her!!
Finally taking the step to move forward with Acupuncture was a big one for me, and I am so thankful that I found Dr. Lu and Yang Hill Acupuncture. Not only is Dr. Lu knowledgeable and kind, he is very detailed and will carefully explain each step through the treatment process and answered all of my questions. He really takes the time to get to you know you as a patient and will work with you for the best treatment path. Not only have I kept going back to the clinic for the amazing health benefits, I have recommended this specific practice to anyone that I meet! It was the best decision that I have made for my over-all heath and wellness. I had a great experience with Better Driver School. The instructors were patient, professional, and explained everything clearly. The classes were organized, easy to follow, and helped me feel more confident behind the wheel. Scheduling was convenient, and the staff was always helpful when I had questions. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking to learn how to drive and prepare for their license.

I recently passed my drivers test, thank you to astick driving school for teaching me everything I need to know while being behind the wheel. Javier was my instructor for behind the wheel lessons and I felt very motivated and happy to have him as my instructor because he was very patient with me and supportive of me wanting to get my license.
Also Nataly was very welcoming and helpful for when I got to the MVA, she walked me through everything and explained how the driving test was gonna be like so I wasn’t as nervous for when it was time for the test. I just want to say thank you to Javier and Nataly, and Astick driving school for all the help.
