I had the pleasure of visiting Kia's Hair Studio after years of not going to a salon and treating my natural hair at home. From our initial consult I could tell that Kia was knowledgeable and cared about nurturing healthy hair. Not only does she use high quality products (Olaplex, K18) she was great in educating me on why my hair wasn't thriving. I left her salon with bouncy, beautiful hair that I was able to maintain for close to 2 weeks. I'm going back today and I couldn't be more excited to have finally found a fantastic hair care professional.

Service: Laser Hair RemovalI am a black woman and I am so happy I made the decision to get laser hair removal. (I got it because of the cyst that will form every time I shaved or waxed my Brazilian Area) The practitioner is very gentle and calming and she educates you before she begins. It was completed very fast and for me the pain is minimal when comparing it to a 10-15 minute wax.I have my 3rd session today and I can tell you that my hair is not as thick/course and I barely have any hair. I believe my total of 4 session will do the trick for me. But if it doesn’t I will be back for a few more session because like I said, my cyst/ingrowns are a non factor and that was never the case for me when I was shaving or waxing. It works. I didn’t get a rash, or burnt. And I have some very sensitive skin. I hope this review convinces you to do it. Especially if you deal with razed bumps/ingrowns/or cyst.It was a very private session as well.

PCP Olukemi Ogunmakinwa is an extremely amazing provider. She is patient, kind, intelligent, caring, easy going, and has treated my family with the most amazing care we could have ever have hoped for. She went above and beyond during our first visit and spent so much time figuring out everything that we needed support for. Her assistant Janeviva is on top of everything for us. She responds to everything extremely professionally timely and courteously. We had a medical emergency late at night, and the provider personally answered the phone, called in the prescriptions and helped us immediately. As a new patient we are extremely amazed at how we have been taking care of at this clinic, from our prescriptions being handled expeditiously, to setting up our specialists and referrals, to in-house lab work the entire experience has been absolutely phenomenal. We have met many healthcare professionals and Toseg Medical Center has been the best experience we have had to date. We are extremely grateful that God has blessed us with this clinic.

I have been getting my hair cut here since I moved here in 2007 and they all worked in Lakeforest mall. Daniel is my normal barber and Lucy is my backup and also cuts my boys hair. Most every barber in here has been there for a long time. Consistency is key when you find a good barber. This place is great.
