They did an amazing job on my vivid color and don't charge women an absurd price for clipper haircuts like many salons that use gendered pricing do. Her prices are reasonable and the service as well as outcome of my eyebrows is always amazing. Considering how long I have been a customer it’s important to note that I have also seen various people approach this business with a poor attitude. It’s unfortunate many people today lack basic understanding on how to speak to another human and then when they are denied a service or asked to leave try and play the victim. There are SO many salons and I’ve exclusively been a Vidal Sassoon gal but driving to Tysons has just become so hard in the last 10 years. I was elated when I found Grace. She is literally the most talented person and she not only cut my hair, but did bayalage for me and keeps it up—totally low maintenance. She is all about keeping your hair healthy and is a font of knowledge and style.Before my daughter’s Make A Wish trip, she had been commenting on how she hates that she has to wait until the end of summer to be blonde (she was always dark blonde that bleaches in the light, but her hair has gotten darker as she has gotten older) and I asked if she wanted to do a bayalage like mom. We looked at some pictures, talked over some options with Grace, and came up with an amazing look. My daughter has a TON of hair and it took a long time but Grace was so patient and played high school musical for my daughter and kept her chatty and she just loved the whole experience.I’ve also gotten to know Grace after all my appointments and I seriously would not trust my hair to anyone else. She takes her job really seriously and you can see why with her gallery of amazing hair creations. It really is art + science.Her salon is sunny, positive, calming and comfortable. She offers complimentary drinks as well.If you aren’t into talking, she also does “quiet” appointments and you can just indicate that when you book online.Her booking system is super simple, it’s online, and you get text reminders!In the pics, you can see how each time we progressed, I wanted to go a little lighter. My daughter wanted that immediately blonde balayage and it turned out great and is maintaining super well!Whether it’s a cut, color, style, or all of the above, make Grace your Go to gal!! “I booked a haircut with Johanna a few weeks ago. I had not had a haircut in over a year after another salon cut it shorter than I wanted. Johanna was so kind about the situation and didn't make me feel bad despite my very dead ends. I was really nervous because I knew how unhealthy my hair had gotten. She listened very carefully and gave feedback on how to get my hair healthy again without loosing too much length.
