He did his diagnosis and decided I needed a new gas valve. He found the part nearby the house and hold the old one off and the new one on in no time and I was able to finally feel my toes again. “Patrick did an incredible job replacing our furnace. It was a complex install because the old furnace was original to the condo construction and tucked into a closet in such a way that it could not simply be slid out (ducting on one side, wall on the other side, doorway jutting into the space in front of the furnace). The first contractor we talked to claimed we would need to destroy the drywall doorway, swap the furnaces, and repair the wall. The second claimed we would need to remove and rebuild the ductwork to the left. Patrick saved us from these destructive, expensive, and time consuming options by dismantling the old furnace to remove it. Seems obvious now, and I can't believe no one else suggested this. We are so pleased with this outcome. We got our AC replaced at the same time and this was thankfully very uneventful! Great job to both Patrick and colleague who came out yesterday. Highly recommend :)“

“For years, I've battled with bedroom humidifiers because the air gets so dry in winter with the little April Air humidifiers attached that run through the furnaces in our house.I learned of a different kind of April Air - a Power Humidifier - that provides much more humidity to your home and called an HVAC place to ask about it. They said they couldn't install due to space limitations and instead recommended a much more expensive Steam humidifier. I was a little suspect of the recommendation, so I called Midtown Mechanical to get another opinion.First, they explained that while a Steam humidifier might do the job, it is very costly AND there is a lot of maintenance and expense in upkeep, which is an immediate "no" in my book.Second, they said that they can make the Power Humidifier fit, even though the space was small.Third, they explained that since humidity rises, much like heat, it would be beneficial to install one power humidifier for EACH furnace (two in total), which the other company never mentioned.We scheduled a few days out and the team came on time and they were very courteous. They spent hours at my house (due to the space limitations, it took some time!) and they installed two (one for each furnace).Their service was great. Their price was reasonable -- for TWO power humidifiers, they were only a slightly more expensive than the other company was for ONE power humidifier. And, the humidity is amazing. (And, I've called since to ask a question about humidity levels and they patiently helped me and said if i had any questions or issues, they would be happy to help.)I'd highly recommend these guys for any HVAC work you have.“

“I had the most pleasant experience getting my furnace repaired by Sergio. Sergio and his team are very professional and they truly care about their customers. He explained everything that he was doing including the reasons why. He was very educational. He was able to order original parts for my furnace in less than a day and he came in the next day to repair my furnace. The previous owner of my home had the blower/motor replaced with off-market parts and it was missing even missing some screws. Sergio even provided extra screws on my new blower/motor to ensure safety. He even gave advice on putting carbon monoxide alarms around it as well as using a more efficient air filter. You can really tell that he cares about the safety of his customers unlike other companies out there. Thank you“
