I had kind of a weird situation I needed help with. I have just barely been coming out of major depressive episode that has lasted around a year, meaning I severely neglected my hair for just as long as it had gotten so matted I couldn't do anything with it myself.:.. it was like one big dreadlock. Johnny was very kind and accommodating. He offered up an appointment time that worked with my schedule and would give us enough time to see if he could untangle it or do the cut if needed. It was too far gone to be saved completely, so Johnny did what he could to cut off the mat while keeping as much length as possible. He provided a comfortable and safe space for me to communicate with him in. It's very shor nowt, but manageable and most importantly healthy. I'm very grateful to him for the experience when I was in such a vulnerable position.
This was my first professional eyebrow session done by Pooja, and being a male with thick bushy eyebrows she really understood how to make the brows exactly how I wanted and needed them to look! I got my nails done by Nikki today and she did a great job! She took her time to shape my nails and gave me exactly what I wanted. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because my appt was at 2pm but she didn't start actually working on my nails until like 3pm because they were so busy. However, the wait was still worth it. My advice would be to come on a day that you don't mind waiting because it could take a while.

East Bay Kitchen & Bath did a wonderful job in remodeling our master bath. The new bathroom looks bright, modern, and beautiful. Jessica was easy to work with and very helpful in providing ideas and suggestion for the design. She is professional, responsive and always on top of things. She stopped by every day during the remodeling to check on the progress and provided needed supplies to make the work go smoothly. The work started and finished on time as projected. The workers have excellent workmanship, and they are hard working. The price was reasonable and the finished bathroom looks great.

My stylist at Nail Garden is Tina, and she truly deserves a special mention. Along with her coworkers, Tina works exceptionally hard to ensure that I receive top-notch service and leave happy. I'm so impressed with Tina that I actually travel all the way from San Francisco to Fremont just to have her as my stylist. Her birthday is on October 10, and I really hope that I can be in town to make something special for her on her special day because she's absolutely worth it .

So happy I found this place! Norma and Ann are fantastic! They take their time with you and do a great job. They have a large selection of nail colors to choose from. A big perk is that each nail color has a matching gel polish. They are friendly and offer suggestions of nail colors (because I'm indecisive). The place is clean and the prices are competitive. This is my go to spot in Fremont!

I recently became an Irvington resident and needed to quickly find a nail salon because my nails were in bad shape. I found this place, and although there were few people there at first glance, it was quaint and much nicer than being in a crowded larger salon. I chose an earthy green dip manicure and a gel pedicure, and while it's usually hard to match dip and gel colors, they looked similar enough. I opted for a basic pedicure, but it felt very luxurious. They even asked if I wanted another layer of color, which I thought was very sweet. The prices were standard for the Southern East Bay Area. I think I've found my new nail spot.
I love this place. I've been coming here for years. It's very small, I'm usually the only one when I go for a service and it is so incredibly peaceful and relaxing. No feeling like you're in an assembly line, no rush, no pressure to add services (no upselling). Prices are clear, and very reasonable (especially for the quality of the service and the uncrowded, quiet environment, compared to other nail salons). Crystal is wonderful--skilled, attentive, engaging and she always does a great job. I've been to many different salons over the years. This is my favorite, by far.

She is one of the few remaining nail technicians/artists who is not only an expert at her craft, but also takes the time to make sure your nails are perfect. I've lived in Fremont for 4 years now and have been going to Diana for almost 2 years. I wish I had started going to her sooner! She is amazing! I go nowhere else. She does my roots, highlights and cuts. The way she cuts my hair and explains how or why she is cutting it a certain way really helps. It grows out exactly how she says it will and the cuts last a long time. I don't trust anyone else now. Her pricing is very reasonable and she is amazing!

I have been receiving the services over seven years. Mila is great! She personalizes treatments based on your skin conditions. She never imposes to buy products she sells but I have bought some products from her because I had asked her suggestions, and they all work wonderfully (and not so expensive). My favorite products are oxygen spray, moisturizer with gold particles, bee Vernon facial soap and sunscreen.

Life savers! After calling several plumbing companies to fix a gas leak, finally found this one that had the proper equipment to detect and fix the leak. Explained the urgency to have our gas back, they had a Forman call me and schedule something ASAP. The foreman Gustavo was professional, prompt and understanding of our situation. He and his crew did a great job on the fixtures/repairs. They provided a quote and everything was done by a licensed contractor, PG&E certified contractor and with county permits. The job was done and our leak fixed. I would highly recommend Pacific Plumbing for anything you might need, hope it's never a gas leak.The prompt response of the staff as a whole is amazing, we truly appreciate everything. I've been using Bay Area Restoration for carpet and rug cleaning in our home for over 3 years now and I highly recommend them. Alex and his team are very courteous, professional and always on-time. Quotes are clear and pricing is consistent. They will always take time to do any spot cleaning (oil stains or pet stains) if you point it out to them. They also use a pet friendly cleaner so my dog doesn't need to be contained while it dries. We had a cleaning during the pandemic and the service is just as consistent/expected.

This review is long overdue. I had cleaners scheduled to come to my place after spending a bit of time debating on whether their pricing was reasonable. When I finally booked for them to clean my home, they ended up being a no-show. I called ShineBrite, (not realizing how much closer to me they were which was a plus) and got a call back within a half hour from the owner Jesse. He was kind enough to stop by and check out my home for a quote within 15 minutes. I booked with them to clean my home and they did a very thorough job! I've booked with different cleaners in the past and was never fully satisfied with being a repeat customer with them, but after working with Jesse's team I was sold. I was looking for a specific brand LVP just no store carries it, not in Home Depot not Lowes, but GEW not just carries it, and Mr. Wu the owner gave me very reasonable price. Their installation team is also superior, I say they are doing flooring like doing an art work. I strongly suggest anyone looking for floor installation GEW in your choice.
The Rodrigues Tile crew did a fantastic job converting our tub-only bathroom into a tub/shower combo with tiled walls. They were quicker than we expected and did the highest quality work.
Helei and team are awesome. Helei remodeled my master bathroom. She has very good team, each one expert in their own area. Although she owns a store but never pushed to get things from her store only. She also had a great eye for interior designing and is very pleasant to work with. She takes time to understand what you need and then gives you the best suggestions and ideas. I would highly recommend her.

We called Frank last year for our annual ant problem after losing our previous pest control company to a merger. He came out the next day, sprayed our house perimeter and we didn't see another ant indoors for the rest of the year. They are attracted to our cats' food. Called him again this year. He answers the phone himself and came out the same afternoon to do apply the spray. I pay him by Zelle and everyone is happy!

I have been using Pestmed services since early 2022 for ants in my home and have been very happy with the results. We had pretty bad ant problem in June 2022 after moving into a new home. I had tried various off the shelf sprays and bait traps but no luck. Learnt about Pestmed through google search and after going through their customer reviews and took the chance.
Results were excellent, we literally went from not being able to keep food/fruits on island even for an hour due to ants to being able to food/fruits kept in open for days without worrying.
To be safe, we do use their service every 6 months as we also have small patio with garden as well our home is adjoining other homes thus eventually after a period of 6-7 months we do start seeing ants slowly trying to creep in.
Overall staff is very responsive and clearly communicates on the day of pest control via text so you can plan accordingly and are not left hanging.
Even though I may have used their service 5-6 times, we only had issue once post service and Pestmed was quick to schedule and do a complimentary pest control in the infected area within 30 days of service.
I recommend this company for fast, friendly, professional service for an eco-friendly termite treatment at a reasonable price.
I noticed drywood termite infestations in two areas of my home. I have two hospice patients as well as pet birds, dogs, and cats, so tenting was going to be logistically impossible for us.
I called Pacific Coast Termite Inc. They scheduled one of their technicians to stop by in a few days. Rob was very thorough with his inspection. Pedro and Saul stopped by for treatment the following week (total time from calling to treatment was less than two weeks).
The office staff and field technicians were all very friendly, courteous, and professional. The technicians were prepared with boot covers (we are a shoe-free home).
I did not need to relocate my hospice patients or animals. I feel reassured that the materials are non-toxic to humans and pets. I am OK if the treatment is not 100% effective and having them come out to reapply if needed (there is a 2-year warranty).
The price was very reasonable. I will provide an update in a couple of years with how effective the treatment was.
I had a fumigation performed by Best Care this past weekend. From the initial contact with them through to picking up the key to return to my home, my experience was excellent. Starting at the beginning of the process, I called and asked to speak with someone who could help me understand the prep work required for a fumigation. I ended up speaking with Don, who patiently answered my questions and educated me on the process. Don also volunteered to come to my house and walk through the interior/exterior and tell me what could be done to achieve optimal results. Thank you Don - it was great to meet you in person! When the crew arrived on fumigation day, they were friendly and efficient. 4-5 people showed up and immediately began to tent my house. They took care to not damage the gutters, roof and solar panels - as I had highlighted to Don during our walk-through. I returned to the house a couple of days later to find my house locked, windows closed, the key hidden where we agreed to hide it, and the Notice allowing me to re-enter posted on the front door. The plants were in good shape, and the gutters, roof and solar panels were also in good shape. Overall, the property was left clean and tidy. I learned Best Care Fumigation does 10-20 fumigations per day, which equates to 50 a week, ~200 a month, and ~2,400 a year (using 10 fumigations per day as the basis). They have the knowledge, skills and abilities to fumigate your house efficiently and effectively. I'd say the vast majority of customers do not write a review given they have 40 reviews posted on Yelp as of my review. Jim Alexander
Everyone at Koch and Associates made our backyard project a breeze. Tyler designed the perfect space and Rob put together a huge group of the hardest working laborers I've ever seen. There were no delays, everything and everyone showed up precisely when they were needed. Demo to final walk-thru took only a week and a half! All parties were responsive, respectful, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend
John was nothing short of a professional landscaper. He was always very communicative during every process leading up to and during the project. He was open to our ideas and also provided valuable suggestions. Our yard before him was an absolute mess (cracked concrete driveway) and now he turned it into a yard we are proud of coming home too! His prices are very competitive and reasonable. I would highly recommend him for your landscape job! We will be using him again for a complete artificial grass project later in the year!
This is an addendum to my previous review. The night after the trees were trimmed, one of the trees that had lights in it did not light up. Also, several of the lights had been dislodged and were hanging down from the branches. I notified Mike, and he was sympathetic and responsive. The day after I notified him, he sent a handyman to fix the lights and reposition them in the tree. In this time when companies sometimes “hit and run”, Mike was there for me. Accidents happen. He was responsible and fixed the problem promptly. This is the kind of company you want to deal with.
Mike is professional and a pleasure to work with. I had a tree stump that was ground 12 inches already, but still alive. Mike came to my house the same day I called him for an estimate. His estimate was extremely reasonable, even with the extra work required. Call or text him versus using the website. Highly recommended!

Dr. Donesa and Girlie accommodated and squeezed my wife to their schedule due to some emergency (given the fact that she is a new patient) although they were fully booked that day. They were very thorough on explaining things both diagnosis and healthcare related questions. Fast forward, they are now our dentist including our eldest son 14yo and even our youngest which is 8yo. I recommend Dr. Donesa and we are definitely going back!

I recently had an infected tooth that needed to be pulled. Upon walking into Dr. Sharma's practice, I was warmly greeted by the front staff. Dr. Sharma is personable and very patient. She shows care and compassion and most of all, an understanding of fear of Dentistry. She immediately put me at ease and did everything possible to make me comfortable. She was able to pull my bad tooth without any pain whatsoever!!!! Dr. Sharma is very detailed and explained every step to me as she was doing it. She also explained very clearly what my options were. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Dr Bates is the best, he's kind, patient and treats you like family. He's very serious about getting you back to optimal health. He gets very very busy but always manages somehow to get us in. Donna is the best, that's his wife, they are a good team. His daughter Pammy is a massage therapidt in his office so double treat. I would recommend everyone to them. Except I would like to be able to get in to see my doctor. Lol! I hurt my back just by reaching up and getting something from the cabinet as I stood there unable to straighten up I said to myself what just happened? ? I immediately called Dr Bates's office they got me in and after the adjustment I was able to walk a little straighter. It was still a process but after 3 treatments I was fine NO medication. He gave me strengthening exercises to do it was amazing! So now instead of going to ER I call Dr bates's office!
I love his honesty, because if he feels it is something that he cannot treat he will definitely tell you I need to have an x-ray and send you to see your PCP. He's not claiming to be a miracle worker but he knows what he's doing. My family and I have been going to Dr Bates for at least 12 years. My son lives in San Diego and every time he comes here he wants to get an adjustment by Dr Bates stating "I haven't found anybody in San Diego like Dr Bates."

I've had 2 pinched nerves and pain in my knees over the years. Each time Dr. Fisher has diagnosed the root cause for each and was able to correct the problem with "adjustments" to my spine. It is amazing how I can be pain free and able to hike, bike, ski and travel the world thanks to Dr. Fisher! If you have any pain in your body, I highly recommend a visit to Dr. Fisher before doing anything invasive or taking meds.

Dr Abercrombie and staff are the best! I have been to physical therapy for pain in my knee and numbness and his method of Shockwave treatment is Wonderful! Just after two treatments they pain is so much better!!! I have had maybe six treatments now and I am 90% better no pain and I am walking with no limp and sleeping without constant pain.!!!! I have had this for over two years and my life is so much better!!!

Dr. Joly is the real deal. I was hesitant on seeing another chiropractor because with my experience it hasn't been the best and I wasn't getting better. It's been a quick in and out adjust and on my way still experiencing lower back pain. That has changed since seeing Dr. Joly! Since seeing Dr. Joly it has been a game changer. I finally feel like I'm getting back to myself and able to do normal day to day activities that I was doing before my lower back pain. He truly knows his craft and is so educated on certain adjustments to take care of what is bothering you. He asks questions, and is very welcoming. I'm so grateful to being referred to him and found my forever chiropractor. The office is very welcoming and the receptionists Christine and Brenda are very friendly and flexible. I enjoy coming in to get adjusted, chat and leave feeling great every time.
Dr Wong has changed my dogs life. My pup is 14 and was less mobile and had tightness all over his body. Working with Dr. Wong has helped moose become more active, mobile, and less tense. Dr. Wong has a plethora of knowledge on all aspects of the canine body and health. He has helped us even outside of the chiropractic modality. He is honest and kind. One of the best guys I know.

Dr. Bruno is absolutely awesome! She took very special care of our dog, Fred, who lived to be 17 and half years until we had to put him down due to his old age and other health issues. Fantastic in every respect! The doctor that saw my dog Teddy was gentle and soft spoken. Teddy was due for 2 vaccinations and one of them was administered as a nasal inhalant and the other one was an injection. Teddy never even noticed the injection which I was a little worried about. All the staff here are totally geared to animal happiness and comfort! I will continue to bring Teddy back for all of his future needs ! Plus the cost was very affordable ! Very friendly staff and doctors. I had an issue with the trimming of my kittens nails (hence the loss of one star) but they helped resolve the issue with no extra charge and they were very kind about it. I really appreciate their help and care for my little kitten.

I love the online classes. They are live and interactive. I still have the sense of community as I get to see my class mates and catch up. It is great that I still get verbal corrections when I am doing the poses correctly. This helps me to stay safe and it saves me traveling time and cost of gas and I lessen the wear and tear on my car.
If I could give more stars I would:). I first attended a class at this studio in 2012 to help stretch out more hamstrings from years of running. As a physical and occupational therapist I was extremely impressed with the in-depth knowledge and awareness, Linea (studio owner) had of the body's anatomy . She was able to modify poses for individuals presenting with various muscle skeletal ailments with ease. She is extremely friendly, and welcoming and you quickly feel a part of the "yoga family." I must also give a shout out to Lynn, another excellent and highly knowledgable yoga instructor. She is attentive and makes sure you are doing your poses correctly. The studio also offers other yoga classes, a HITT class, Reformer classes ( with Linea), personal training sessions, as well as massage and Acupuncture (Lynn's also an acupuncturist!) services should you need them.
The best therapist I've ever had. More relief than I've ever had in one session!
I visited John yesterday for the first time and I'm in AMAZED at the results after the first visit. I have been struggling with severe back pain and limped my way into his office and practically skipped out an hour later. His knowledge of the human body, how everything connects and interacts and affects other areas of your body is second to none. He is keenly aware of what keeps bodies running at their best. John spent time explaining how the work he was going to do would provide relief and then worked his magic. I had the best night sleep in weeks and the pain and discomfort is much more tolerable without having to take any pain medication. I'm most definitely looking forward to not only continuing for my recovery, but I have no doubts that when it comes to self-care, you can't make a better choice than to pay John a visit. This is my second time coming to get a massage here at Mood Up. It has been the most peaceful experience every time! I found this place back in April on Groupon. I wanted to treat me and my husband to a couples massage. It was so relaxing that when it came time for me to get another massage i did not hesitate on calling for an appointment. Angel provided me with the most heavenly massage. I drove from San Jose and will be doing so again next time. Everyone you come into contact with here are so kind. Imotion is extremely professional and has excellent therapist. There was a misunderstanding from my referring doctor regarding the evaluation notes. The imotion management quickly intervened to sort it out and it turns out that the problem was with referring doctors fax machine .

My 9 yr old son was feeling so sick n coughed a lot. I took him to see Natalie. She did cupping for him n prescribed some herbal medicine for him. He recovered in 2 days! She is super gentle to kids. Highly recommended! My son loves cupping a lot !

As a lifelong sufferer of allergies, Lynn’s allergy medicine has been a life saver. For years I have tried many different allergy medications, from claritin, to zyrtec, no allergy medicine has worked for me consistently throughout the day. I went to receive treatment from Kavita for tennis elbow that had not gone in 3 years in spite of steroids and PT.I have also been a migraine patient for 30+ years. I used to have migraine episodes every 3 days and since I started my treatment with her the migraines have gone down to almost none in the last few months and tennis elbow pain is down as well tremendously. Overall my body feels healthier and pain free:)Kavita is extremely skillful in her work and addresses issues with so much understanding of patient needs. I am so glad that I went to her for my treatment.

I woke up one day with Bell's Palsy, a condition that cause a sudden weakness in the muscles on one half of my face. I was unable to move anything on that side of my face. Two weeks gone by taking medication prescribed by my doctor and no improvement (was told recovery will take 3-6 months). Decided to try acupuncture due to hearing great results. After my initial consultation and session with one of the male acupuncturists, I was referred over to Dr. Tao who specializes in Bell's Palsy. After my first session with her, I saw results right away. Did a total of 8 sessions, twice a week. By one month I was about 90% recovered. Highly recommend Dr. Tao and this place!

Dr.Wang is a fantastic acupuncturist. After each time visit I can see significant improvement from my skin condition. It helped me a lot. I highly recommended her to anyone who has been suffering from any skin disease.
Very nice and affordable Dr. Helped me in my very first visit with so much attention. I feel bad the only person leaving a 1 star review complaining about insurance coverage. Dr Hi cannot do anything about western medicine not acknowledging or covering Acupuncture. Everyone should know this. You are lucky if you have insurance that covers this but that's your responsibility. This Dr works limited hours because he is retired and sometimes doesn't make enough to cover the rent. Let's help such experienced and sincere Drs. Dr only works to help people. I know this because before meeting him I paid nearly 3.5 times more.
