Having had chronic back pain most of my life, there have been a couple of times where the pain has been fairly unbearable. The first was about 25 years ago and ended with a cortisone shot. This last time, I wrenched my back and had this throbbing pain in my hip, my lower back, and running down my leg. I could not make it up the stairs and slept in my recliner for about 3 weeks. My sister gave me Dr. Currie's name as her husband has had sciatica most of his life and benefited greatly by this doctor. I have been to a couple of chiropractors and have not been impressed, so it seemed a bit like a last ditch effort for relief that made me go.
The first visit confirmed inflammation in the L5 disc (he got me in a few days after reaching out). This was on a Monday. On Wednesday I was able to get really good x-rays (yes, there is a difference) and was back to see him with that cd (which I got to keep) on Thursday. He really took the time to show me the good and bad (I had good spacing between the vertebrae and you could see the areas of muscle inflammation, along with some areas of arthritis) and asked me to come the very next day. On Friday I had my first adjustment and this took the edge off, for which I was grateful. I was already walking better on Saturday, much to my surprise.
Monday was my second adjustment, but it was very apparent that the swelling (and the pain) had been reduced dramatically. I am going back on Wednesday and Friday for additional adjustments and hope to be on more of a maintenance schedule after that.
The treatment was better than anything my doctor prescribed or did for the past year and a half as this was building up. I am so grateful for the professional care and treatment that Dr. Currie provided.
I would highly recommend him to anyone experiencing back pain.

Not a fancy place by far. However the hairdresser named Fatima was very friendly and did a great job cutting my teenage son hair. After that she styled it with the gel. She gave a great idea for hair styling going forward. The bill was only $15.

I do not remember how I found Sam but man was it an awesome find. I have been visiting Sam from around 2021. Sam has a very nice studio setup place. Sam is super skilled with fade cuts and beard trim. I have a full beard so I love the shape up on my monthly visits.

The first time I came, I was nervous but had a great experience with Robert, who took the time to cut my hair well and was very nice to me. The second time I came, I went with Luis C., who, first of all, double-booked my appointment and made me wait 30 minutes while he cut someone else's hair. Then he took me on and proceeded to spend 15 minutes on my hair without fully understanding what I wanted. At the end, he demanded $ 65 for a 15-minute service, whereas online I booked a $40 haircut for a 30-minute service. He was also extremely rough with my hair and pulled a lot of hair out from my hairline, causing redness and burning + hairloss at my hairline. I explained to him that I booked the 40 dollars for 30 minutes, but he did not listen to me and forced me to pay 65 dollars. I really did enjoy Robert and wanted to give a 5-star review because Robert is a fantastic person and barber, but the terrible experience I had with Luis C. was unprofessional.

I have been coming to this nail salon for six years now. Both Norma and Ann do a fantastic job with manicure and pedicure. It is a small salon, appointment only and very cute inside. I like that it is appointment only because it is not rushed. I highly recommend this salon and have recommended it to others who have become regular customers as well.

No feeling like you're in an assembly line, no rush, no pressure to add services (no upselling). I had a really bad semi-permanent brow experience in 2022 — the shape was off, and the color turned red. It was so upsetting I told myself I’d never touch my brows again.
That changed when I saw a friend’s brows last year — they looked so natural. She told me Angela did them and had never experienced the issues I had. I still wasn’t ready to commit, but I went in just to see if Angela could help remove the old pigment.
From the start, Angela was warm, gentle, and never pushy. She carefully helped fade my old brows and never pressured me to redo them. Eventually, I felt safe enough to try again — and I’m so glad I did.
I had no clear idea what shape I wanted, but Angela patiently listened, understood my vague thoughts, and used her incredible eye to sketch something that felt just right for me. Her calm, thoughtful attitude made all the difference. I’ve now seen her several times, and I fully trust her artistry.
The studio is also cozy and inviting. If you’ve ever had doubts about getting your brows done — Angela is the one to see.
I had a head spa for the first time and it was wonderful. Lynn is thoroughly able to do a scalp, head and facial treatment on a special bed with a sink at the end. The spa treatment includes the neck and shoulders getting a massage and even aromatherapy. It’s a wonderful experience. You’ll leave the salon revitalized. I highly recommend the head spa.

I don’t normally leave reviews so this means a lot, but Rudy gave me an amazing haircut, exactly as I asked for and it costed $16. I decided to come back to have my hair colored and get highlights and he did an amazing job all for $120 compared to $400 that a different salon was going to charge me. He’s such a funny guy and for as long as I live in the Bay Area, I’m only going to have my hair cut or colored by him from now on. I definitely recommend coming here! Thanks Rudy :)

Got my haircut and beard trimming done here with Raman and was extremely impressed with the work that he did.
The haircut started off with a shampoo treatment that instantly put me at ease and had me relaxed. After having my hair go through the shampoo treatment, Raman asked me how I wanted to get my hair cut. I hadn’t gotten my hair cut in a while and wasn’t sure what type of cut I wanted or how to style it. Raman suggested how I should style my hair based off of my head shape and the texture of my hair, and I’m so glad I listened to him.
Similarly for my beard, I wanted to get it styled a certain way but based off of my face shape, Raman suggested another type of style and kindly explained why. Again, so glad I listened to him here.
Lastly, after the haircut was over, Raman styled my hair and showed me the optimal way to style my hair so I’d be able to keep that look after the day of my haircut.
If you’re in the area and a male, I would highly recommend coming here to get your hair cut. Raman is truly an expert and will not only have you looking your best, but he’ll make sure you leave relaxed and educated on how your hair can keep looking its best.
Lastly, the atmosphere of the salon was cozy, clean, and welcoming and love the fact they offer coffee just like they do in India.

My go to plumber. We have used Mohsin and his team 3x over the recent years. Price is fair, work is done efficiently and always a great quality job. We trenched and replaced a main water line feed to the water meter when our line broke, clogged sewer lines cleared another time and the replacement of water heater this time.
Ray was on time and ran the snake through the kitchen sink to unclog it. It was done in less than 40mins.

We've used Clearwater a few times and loved their service. This last time was for a leaking water heater and they were able to come out the next day and replace it for us! So thankful they were able to fit us in!

I've been using Bay Area Restoration for carpet and rug cleaning in our home for over 3 years now and I highly recommend them. Alex and his team are very courteous, professional and always on-time. Quotes are clear and pricing is consistent. They will always take time to do any spot cleaning (oil stains or pet stains) if you point it out to them. Here's one for the books: when my son was 13, almost 40 years ago, he needed to have all 4 of his wisdom teeth removed. In those days, no dentist was willing to remove them all at once. Our mini dachshund was diagnosed with IVDD. The entire bottom half of her body and her hind legs weren't moving at all. It took a few sessions for her to start wiggling back on her hind legs. A few years ago, I injured my neck and didn’t even know how it happened. As the days went on, the pain increased. My movement decreased, and I was in excruciating pain. I couldn’t lie down. I was in tears and couldn’t sleep. I went to Kaiser Permanente, where I was offered muscle relaxers and time off work. I took one pill and knew it wouldn’t help. I felt drugged. I am fortunate to have holidays off, and I wasn't looking for more time off. This made me feel unimportant to the doctor. My next stop was Dr. Shahani's office. He is always warm and welcoming. Since I began seeing him, it feels like visiting a friend. He always considers my busy schedule and makes an effort to fit me in. Right from the start, he knew what was wrong and how to fix it. The treatment took a few days. He was patient with me because I was scared of permanent damage. He kept checking in on me. I will be forever thankful for his help. I will continue to trust him and his staff with my healthcare.

Having had chronic back pain most of my life, there have been a couple of times where the pain has been fairly unbearable. The first was about 25 years ago and ended with a cortisone shot. This last time, I wrenched my back and had this throbbing pain in my hip, my lower back, and running down my leg. I could not make it up the stairs and slept in my recliner for about 3 weeks. My sister gave me Dr. Currie's name as her husband has had sciatica most of his life and benefited greatly by this doctor. I have been to a couple of chiropractors and have not been impressed, so it seemed a bit like a last ditch effort for relief that made me go.
The first visit confirmed inflammation in the L5 disc (he got me in a few days after reaching out). This was on a Monday. On Wednesday I was able to get really good x-rays (yes, there is a difference) and was back to see him with that cd (which I got to keep) on Thursday. He really took the time to show me the good and bad (I had good spacing between the vertebrae and you could see the areas of muscle inflammation, along with some areas of arthritis) and asked me to come the very next day. On Friday I had my first adjustment and this took the edge off, for which I was grateful. I was already walking better on Saturday, much to my surprise.
Monday was my second adjustment, but it was very apparent that the swelling (and the pain) had been reduced dramatically. I am going back on Wednesday and Friday for additional adjustments and hope to be on more of a maintenance schedule after that.
The treatment was better than anything my doctor prescribed or did for the past year and a half as this was building up. I am so grateful for the professional care and treatment that Dr. Currie provided.
I would highly recommend him to anyone experiencing back pain.

I just had 2 surgeries with Dr. Wadhera and it went wonderfully!! He is such an amazing doctor that takes the time to make you feel comfortable and explains everything clearly. I had another surgeon saying I did not need the surgery, that it would be risky and another one saying I could lose mobility but Dr. Wadhera did a miracle job without loss of mobility and my life has drastically improved! I used to wake up with pain, pus on my pillowcase, shirts and skin from my skin condition but now, I haven't had any discharges and no pain at all. It is a miracle and I can't thank and recommend Dr. Wadhera enough!!

Dr. Bruno is absolutely awesome! She took very special care of our dog, Fred, who lived to be 17 and half years until we had to put him down due to his old age and other health issues. She was always informative about different ways of treatment and also was compassionate and spent a lot of time to get to know as as his owner. She is one of the best vets we have ever worked with!
I brought my 2-year old Persian cat to this place for stenotic nare surgery (his nose job I've been calling it). Not only is this one of the few places in the Bay Area that offer a cost-effective stenotic nare surgery (it was ~$2.5k and for the record VCA quoted me >$5k) but they did SUCH an excellent job and took care of my cat so well. AND HE BREATHES SO GOOD NOW! They gave me a variety of medication to bring home (pain relievers, anti-inflammatory meds, and antibiotics) that was included in the cost and they even called after to check up on the cat. I honestly would recommend this hospital to everyone needing the same surgery done on their cat. Mr Grumpy is doing great after the surgery, recovering well, and breathing so good.

I took a community cat named Friendly there. She was very ill and was suffering. I took her there to be put down but the vet wanted to be sure and was nice enough to do a thorough exam before authorizing or agreeing with putting the cat down. The cat was in bad shape, she was dirty and her fur was matted but the vet treated her with respect and gave her the dignity she deserved!
Shelby did an amazing job with my 5lb Yorkie, Enzo! She was so detailed, and he came out looking absolutely fabulous. They even gave us a Polaroid of him after his groom—such a thoughtful touch. The shop is clean, welcoming, and you can tell they really care about the pets.

I love the online classes. They are live and interactive. I still have the sense of community as I get to see my class mates and catch up. It is great that I still get verbal corrections when I am doing the poses correctly. This helps me to stay safe and it saves me traveling time and cost of gas and I lessen the wear and tear on my car.
If I could give more stars I would:). I first attended a class at this studio in 2012 to help stretch out more hamstrings from years of running. As a physical and occupational therapist I was extremely impressed with the in-depth knowledge and awareness, Linea (studio owner) had of the body's anatomy . She was able to modify poses for individuals presenting with various muscle skeletal ailments with ease. She is extremely friendly, and welcoming and you quickly feel a part of the "yoga family." I must also give a shout out to Lynn, another excellent and highly knowledgable yoga instructor. She is attentive and makes sure you are doing your poses correctly. The studio also offers other yoga classes, a HITT class, Reformer classes ( with Linea), personal training sessions, as well as massage and Acupuncture (Lynn's also an acupuncturist!) services should you need them.
Wish more yoga studios were as clean, friendly, and trendy as this lil gem! This place comes with all the bells and whistles - showers, mats, towels, waters, vanity bar, tea bar, scent bar. I come from all the way on the other side of town because I also love the routines and general vibe Ritual Yoga teachers provide.

I get free massages through my workplace, but I rarely use them anymore because, honestly, no one comes close to the quality of care Suraj provides. My sister and my boyfriend both see him now too, and we literally have to fight for spots on his calendar because he’s that good.
On top of his skill, Suraj is incredibly kind, professional, and polite. He’s currently working on his nursing degree, which explains why his knowledge of anatomy is so strong and gives even more confidence in the work he does.

Cartney Dzoan physical therapist is sooo professional & knowledgeable, very patient, happy face, great communicators, and has a lot of technique you're imagine. I am very blessed have him for my PT. He's work like a magic it was the best I had so far for my back, and I'm much much better for his care & technique, and answered all my question, to my opinion he deserves an award. I am an 80-yr old male with active regularity in doing DYI work. I met Dr. Natalie Chen of WYT during pre-Covid days for a back pain which was successfully treated with acupuncture and massage. This April, I had an improbable accident working on an elevated house deck but falling BACKWARDS off it on hard garden soil. This was caused by evading an aggressive strayed dog! Almost-immediate ER visit revealed no fractured bones, spine and head injury, a miracle by all measures. However, the 8-ft fall did lead to immense back, ribs, hip & pelvic pain. Dr. Chan was able to treat my condition with acupuncture, medicated pads, and herbal medicine. The improvement was immediate. In 3-weeks' time, the pain became more like discomfort and I could walk and work. I have full confidence in her treatment and look forward to complete recovery. In my view, she is a rare asset in her areas of specialty that her patients can count on. I say this while my condition is continuing to improve.

I originally went to Dr. Kim for help with my restless leg syndrome. After just one session, the discomfort in my legs stopped, and I was finally able to sleep well again. Dr Chen is a caring & kind acupuncturist. She is professional, has a clean clinic and open on Saturdays. Her clinic evokes the same warmth she gives. I've referred so many to her with successful outcomes. She also specializes in fertility. Call 1st to schedule. The clinic is not seen from Fremont Blvd, so must turn into a shared parking lot with other shops.

My instructor, Gurmeet, is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. When I messed up, she didn't yell at me or panic, she calmly corrected me and helped me learn from my mistakes. I had a 2hr session, and it didn't even feel that long because, 1, she is very nice and 2, the way she teaches feels like I was just cruising on the road. I definitely recommend her whether you are a beginner or have a little experience. She a great teacher and ik she will help me pass my test.

Took my lessons with Jay, he's a really good instructor. I took two lessons with him before getting my license, he's great. I got the hang of it pretty well thanks to his instructions.
