“I’ve been seeing Dr. Chang for acupuncture for over a year now, and I’m honestly so grateful I found him.

I had been dealing with digestive issues for over a decade including bloating, constipation, constant hunger, fatigue, and dizziness and nothing I tried really helped. I tried probiotics, fermented foods, fresh yogurt, salads, lemon water, and different things through Western medicine, but I never felt like I was getting to the root of the issue.

I randomly watched a show about acupuncture one day and decided to search Yelp, which is how I found Dr. Chang. I wasn’t very hopeful at first since I had been dealing with these problems for so long, but I figured it was worth trying.

From the first visit, Dr. Chang was very thorough and thoughtful. He asked a lot of questions, really listened, and explained what he thought was going on with my body. At that first visit, he also gave me an herbal tea to take three times a day for digestion.

He didn’t just do the treatment and send me on my way. He also gave me helpful diet and lifestyle suggestions, especially around digestion — things like eating more warm foods, having little to no cold or iced drinks, skipping salads when possible given my digestive issues, and even guidance on which fruits may be better for my body and which ones might not agree with me.

Within a few weeks, I felt completely different. My bloating was gone, my constipation improved, I wasn’t constantly hungry anymore, and I actually felt full and satisfied after eating. It was honestly a dramatic change and has made such a big difference in my daily life.

I still continue to see Dr. Chang for overall health and wellness, and I feel like he has really helped me feel better as I get older. What I appreciate most is that he truly seems to care. He takes his time, pays attention, and makes you feel heard.
