I had been driving a lot yesterday and needed to drive about 3 more hours home. My back was already tight and legs stiff, so I went to Newark Excellent Massage as a walk-in. The owner was able to go to work immediately on me. Her knowing hands determined immediately where were the spots on my back that needed the most attention, and her technique was impeccable. She also used some unique methods on my legs (some Thai massage techniques?) that really restored them for me. I'll definitely be back.

My go-to barber shop for whenever I am in town. Prices are decent for men's cuts. Have had my hair cut by the owner and his son, although his son no longer works here fully and only comes by on special request. Yet to see this place packed or have a line longer than a few minutes.
I just tried this place for the first time to get my hair trimmed as well as curtain bangs. Tony cut my hair and I thought he did a wonderful job. I like that he took his time to cut my hair and made sure to check in with me to see that I liked how the cut looked and felt.
This will def be my go to place for my haircuts.

I just left the salon, and let me tell you, my hair has never looked so amazing! From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by how clean and tranquil the space was, definitely a peaceful oasis. The staff was incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. Kayla was my stylist today, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park! I treated myself to a full color treatment, and the results are stunning. My hair feels like silk, I'm not sure what magic shampoo she used, but it's the softest it's been in ages! On top of that, I had a light trim to get rid of those pesky split ends, and I'm just in love with how everything turned out. Huge thanks to Kayla for working her magic on my hair! I can't stop smiling!

I have been going to the Ritz for over 20 years, I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. I moved from the Bay Area two years ago, do not drive and I still go to get everything done , hair (shampoo , color, cut, style) mani, pedi, and wax. It’s well worth the travel! I love all the girls there and so does my husband especially when he gets his pedicure!

I had another incredible experience at California Day Spa with Mari (Maria)! I came in for my usual European facial, and she took the time to really look at what my skin needed that day and customized the treatment accordingly.
What I appreciate most is how kind and generous she is with her clients. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure you feel taken care of, not just during the service but afterward as well. She even offered to have me come back the next day to check on how my skin was responding, which speaks so much to how much she cares about her work and her clients.

Updating my review 12+ years later: Dr. Bailon still remains the absolute best dentist our family has ever had. We've since moved 80 miles away to the Central Valley and after trying some new local dentists in the area, have decided to return to Newark Dental Care because nothing compares to her attention to detail and bedside manner. She truly treats her patients like family and makes everyone feel welcome. Even my 5 year old feels at ease at Dr. Bailon's office. Thank you for taking us back as patients. We won't leave again we promise!!

It's been over a month since our session, which I think makes this review more valuable. My request was to work on muscle tension in my shoulder/neck area, while my boyfriend had carpal tunnel issue. In both cases it was a multi-year issue that each of us has been dealing with.
We both experienced a significant improvement after just 1 session, and the results are long lasting! The pressure was very light, nothing like anything I tried before, but it definitely worked!
I’ve been dealing with lower back pain for six to seven years. I tried acupuncture, cupping, and physiotherapy at multiple places over the years, but nothing gave me lasting relief.
Today I visited Dr. Yaron Wu, and the experience was completely different. He took the time to explain the possible causes of my pain and walked me through the specific tension points involved. Instead of treating the symptoms directly, he traced the tension by tracking anchor spots to actually locate the source of the problem — interestingly, he never even touched the spot where the pain was. He focused entirely on the root cause rather than just the painful area itself.
He then treated three to four tension spots with needles, and the results were immediate. Before treatment, even bending backward caused significant pain. After just four or five needles, I felt about a 70% reduction in pain and could move my back in ways I hadn’t been able to before walking in.
After years of trying different treatments with little success, this was the first time I felt real, tangible progress in a single session. Highly recommend Dr. Yaron Wu to anyone dealing with chronic back pain who wants someone treating the actual cause, not just the symptoms. As he said he just followed my tension tracing down to my anchor spots far from pain location to release my pain.
It’s a great office, I would very much recommend it. This is my second time going there for treatment. David is very knowledgeable and also offered other suggestions for helping with my pain. The sliding pay scale is also good, it offers affordable treatment for people that might otherwise not be able to afford it.
