Best yoga studio I've ever been to. The friendliness of both the teachers and the students makes this place stand out. The studio itself is beautiful and makes one feel instantly welcomed and comfortable. Great variety of classes. I am so happy I found Forward Fold.

Great place! Warm and friendly and a nice variety of instructors and classes so I get to experience different kinds of yoga. Matt is both the friendly owner and the really good teacher of slightly more challenging classes at 9:00 am. The ones at 10:30 am tend to be a bit easier. Katie H. teaches the most challenging class on Sunday at 10:00 am (my fave). There are even a few restorative classes in the evening every week where instead of exercise the emphasis is relaxation. Matt is truly giving back to the community by running this place. I hope it lasts as long as I'm in Encino, but if it ever closes its doors or gets taken over by a chain, I'll be glad I got to appreciate...read full review

I've taken several of the prenatal yoga classes here (Sunday mornings and Wednesday evening) and they are so great! The teachers are different but both classes are great and help me feel strong and flexible. My husband and I also recently took a 3 hour class with Cassie about labor positions and massage which was incredibly useful. I was not expecting to learn so much about labor and left feeling more relaxed and in control. I feel really empowered to manage the sensations of contractions at home with my husband for as long as I can before heading to the hospital now!
