So my husband and I purchased our first home. It was definitely livable however wanted to change the entire home to fit our needs and vibe. It was a 4 bedroom home and approximately 2000 sq ft. For the vision that I had I knew that this was not something that I could do on my own. With that being said I was mortified of the thought to hire a contractor since I have been around long enough to have heard some truly awful stories. I was on a time crunch and I am extremely picky. I met with quite a few different contractors that either were extremely expensive, didn't have enough knowledge or they just didn't understand my overall vision I was wanting to accomplish. I was put in touch with Elmar and he came by and did a thorough work thru of the home with me. From that moment on I knew that this was the person who understood me, gave me great suggestions and made me feel extremely comfortable. I was scared as to what he was going to give me price wise however compared to the rest of the people I met I was pleasantly surprised and moved forward with him.
We completely gutted the entire house. We took 4 bedrooms and made it to 3. So we combined 2 bedrooms into 1 to make a bigger master bedroom. We remodeled both bathrooms (added steam shower) and added a powder. We removed one wall which had a fireplace in the living room/kitchen to create an open space. We redid all of the windows, sliders bedroom doors, ceiling, HVAC, wiring, plumbing.. you name it we did it. From the time we purchased the house and all this construction was done we were able to move in after 6 months which is truly unheard of. We still did have some other projects to finish after we moved such as the front and backyard. We redid all of the concrete, resurfaced and re did the coping around the pool. We put new vinyl fencing and did a metal electric gate in the front.
So all in all I did every single thing in my house with Elmar and anytime I was stuck on any design question or functionality question that was my task to handle he never failed to give me opinions and other perspectives to help make my decision. I am so grateful that I was able to work with him and he made this potentially scary process very easy and enjoyable for me. Thank you Elmar and Power Builders.
It's very rare to find a massage place in Los Angeles that offers a couples suite, so this place was a wonderful surprise. The spa is very clean, the location is great, and parking was easy to find. I had a Thai massage with Mathew, and my husband had a Deep Tissue massage with Kristy. Both therapists were very professional and skilled. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again!

She knows just how to fade the sides and trims the curls just right so you can still see the curls. My son loves his fresh cut every time and is proud to show it off with his friends. Eve’s hours of flexibility is a parent life saver when trying to manage work, school and kids activity schedules! She is also so sweet and remembers what my son loves to watch and always has it on when we walk in! Eve never disappoints!
Orli is not just an expert, she is a true MASTER of her craft. Unlike some other stylists in the valley, not only is Orli great at what she does, she is also honest, prices fairly, and personality wise, is a total gem. Do not waste your time on other salons and stylists who charge you an arm and a leg and don’t even use highest quality products to get you real results you absolutely deserve. Orli is a real one. A gem in a city full of counterfeit fraudulent people. I asked for something specific, she was honest if she could do that, and then she did it. Fully. I have absolutely no complaints. I promise, this woman is worth all your time and money. And as for time, in any other salon, w any other stylist, this all would have had me in the chair MINIMUM 8-10hr, EASY. With Orli, from top to bottom, I was in her chair just under 5hrs. She is a true blessing and deserves recognition and all the accolades available. She worked a true miracle on my hair! Her services are impeccable, and her vibe is everything. She had a lot of heart, great humor, and I had so much fun with her. The results speak for themselves though. She knows what she’s doing and she won’t let you down. Also, extremely fair pricing, I’d have paid 2-3x more for all she did with any other stylist, so do NOT sleep on Orli. I came in for the first time today, and I'll definitely be back! Cesar gave me such a cute blowout today, not to mention THEE best scalp massage I've ever had. I showed him a couple pics of what I wanted my hair to look like and he delivered! All the hair products he used on me smelled sooooooo good. Usually my hair gets so frizzy and puffy after a couple hours but today was not the case. I can't wait to come back for a haircut and another blowout! I had a very important wedding and Khyler was recommended to me by my niece. As soon as I walked in I felt the great energy and felt welcomed. Khyler was amazing and I love what he did with my hair. He also added some clip on extensions that I brought with me and they were in place and very comfortable all night. I felt like a million dollar man with my beautiful hair style. I definitely will go again and I recommend them

Awesome barbershop. The team really is full of great guys. They used to be near Winnetka and I followed them to their new location on Reseda because they're that good. You get an awesome haircut at a price that makes sense. Unlike some of these fancier shops charging 60+ for a buzz cut and take forever, this is no non-sense and fantastic work. I always go to Mario but Jeff and Marvin are great too. Repeat customer because my hair grows fast and they're the best price to not break that bank either anytime you need to clean up for an event. Came here after calling an hour before for my son’s haircut that he has been begging us for (low taper fade with the “fluffy” hair that’s so popular right now). Nelson took one look at the photo my 11 year old provided and went on to give him the exact haircut he wanted. Quick, skilled and friendly. Highly recommend and we will be back!

OMG. GIRLS. Ok first I’m super picky when it comes to eyelash extensions because with Asian eyes I feel like it’s a fine line between them looking cute on me vs……looking way more Asian than I wanna look ? BUT OK FIRST not only did Chinh do an AMAZING job and I’m in LOVE with how my eyelashes came out looking, but the QUALITYYYY - I got my eyelashes done for my honeymoon and not only have I put them through pool water, but torrential rain and crazy wind (was NOT planned) and sea water, and my eyelashes still look AMAZING and so full. Granted it’s been a little over a week but still my eyelash extensions went through so much ?? These photos are after we just came back from some insane weather and I dried them with a mini fan and had washed them but truly I’m so thankful to Chinh and will definitely be going back to her for filler sessions!
Do not forget have you vaccination card with you, they made me go back home and get it lucky my house is only 3 mints away. A part of that the atmosphere is amazing I still feel relax after few days no more fatigue.
I’ve been seeing Monica for electrolysis for at least a year. She does such a great job. It’s such a relaxing atmosphere. And I’m a huge baby! I used to thread my face and it would grow out like the next day. This Is so much better! I threw away my tweezers lol

This review is LONG overdue, but I'm writing this in honor of my original "lash mama" (haha). Darla took care of me for 6+ years! She was very meticulous and a true perfectionist at her craft (I say perfectionist in the most positive way). The best part is that she makes sure she keeps your natural lashes healthy and in tact (not to mention, retention was great). I rocked a few different lash looks with Darla, and I'm grateful I got to experience her expertise. Patch Tattoo Therapy is aptly named. This location is a haven in the middle of the valley and Rachel its best steward. I have been back for five tattoos, and have loved every single visit! Rachel is, in addition to having an amazing artistic eye and vision, is one of the gentlest, kindest people I have ever met. Go get a tattoo or three from her and you will absolutely not regret one moment!

After one year, I can confidently say choosing Repipe1 was the right decision.
We started with a foundation leak caused by a pinhole leak in the hot water line, which led us to reroute the plumbing through the attic. The team was extremely professional and efficient—finishing everything in just two days (one day plumbing, one day drywall repair).
They were very clean, covering all walls, furniture, and even the garage with plastic to keep dust contained. The drywall repair was flawless—no signs of any work done.
A year later, everything is working perfectly, and the peace of mind is a huge relief. No more worrying about leaks.

Laurie and David just finished a refinishing job in a house I own. The oak floors had been painted a dark BLUE many decades ago, so removing that paint really complicated the job. But their crew did an excellent job sanding the floors, re-staining them, and polishing them - and the result is gorgeous!! When I was looking for a contractor I wasn't just looking for the ordinary general contractor that you can find I was looking for someone who would give me more of a concierge service. Someone who would take the time to actually understand my project and give me his honest opinion. I was looking for a contractor who's actually patient and willing to listen so that I can give him all my ideas and he can come back to me and give me The Good The bad and The ugly. After interviewing several general contractors I decided to go with advanced builders and contractors. From the beginning these guys were excellent. They were patients they gave me enough time to be able to express my ideas they brought out kitchen designers to help me with my kitchen they brought out a structural engineer to help me with the plans and to redo the plans in the middle of the construction project and they were also awesome because they were a One-Stop shop. Construction is very stressful as it is so it's always good to have a friendly contractor who can guide you along the way and show you what will be a good outcome.
We recently worked with Ezra to convert the tandem bay of our garage into a bedroom, and we couldn’t be happier with the final outcome. After struggling to find reliable architects and engineers as part of fallout of the Covid pandemic, Ezra came through and got our project back on track. His pricing was fair and reasonable, and he was always open to discussing options and ideas with us. He communicated with the city repeatedly to keep the permit application and building inspections on track, which took a big weight off our shoulders. We really like the quality of the work performed by his crew. The team—Rudy, Josue, Efren, and the many others—were respectful, hard-working, and always accommodating to our (and our one-year-old's) needs. They kept the construction site and surround tidy throughout, which was a huge relief.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. We had been putting off our backyard renovation for years because it felt overwhelming, but from the first meeting with Uri at Pacific Home Renovation, we knew we were in good hands. He helped us come up with a design that fit both our vision and our budget — no upselling, no pressure, just honest, helpful advice. The process was smooth and surprisingly fast. They installed artificial turf, a beautiful seating area with a firepit, and added lighting that makes the space come alive at night. Communication was excellent throughout, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. I seriously catch myself staring out the window just admiring it. So glad we did this.

I can’t say enough great things about Regal Construction and Remodeling. We had our backyard completely redone with new pavers, and Ben managed the project from start to finish. He’s extremely knowledgeable and has a great eye for design. He helped us pick the perfect color and pattern for the patio that ties in beautifully with our landscaping. The crew worked quickly but carefully, no shortcuts. They were polite, respectful, and made sure to clean up every day before leaving. What I appreciated most was the constant communication; Ben kept us updated at every stage and made sure we were happy with the progress. The finished paver patio looks absolutely amazing—smooth, sturdy, and built to last. I would 100% use Regal again for any future projects!

Probably the best experience we've ever had with any kind of home renovation help. They sanded and refinished all the hardwood floors in the house before we moved in and replaced all the baseboards, and they exceeded our expectations every single time.

We signed a contract that we thought we could trust and paid the down payment, but nearly two years have passed, along with my elderly friend who this garage restoration was to accommodate while her home was being demolished and rebuilt - now they have just ignored my calls, promised a refund several times and taken no action based on their words. Permits are all they have submitted, no follow up calls or updates, letters of project start date, etc. $31,000+ down the drain on this project with no company contact number showing on the website. I am not happy to leave a negative report, and was excited to see a change for the better in this property. But the bigger picture is even more interesting...

It's very rare to find a massage place in Los Angeles that offers a couples suite, so this place was a wonderful surprise. The spa is very clean, the location is great, and parking was easy to find.
