I always bring my daughters to Hazel. not only is she excellent with her braiding skills but she is competitively priced! I learned my lesson settling for other braiders in the valley. My only complaint would be Jessica, on of the other stylists in the shop. She is always extremely rude and hostile to my daughters and I when we come if she’s there. So because of that one factor I sometimes dread going!

Jessie is absolutely AMAZING and that’s an understatement. She did such a wonderful job with my hair. She fixed my hair to be even again along with offering such a great solution to give my hair a break from being damaged by bleaching and coloring it. I told her I wanted to do something fun and different and she offered to do tape in extensions and that she would color them any of color that I wanted. This solution was not only the right one for my hair and its health, but also for my mental health to bring me that same desired confidence that anyone seeks when they are looking for a change up. As a guy with long hair, it was hard to find someone who I trusted to do my perm, but I trust Rita with my hair fully, she does an amazing job and her perms are incredible. I only trust her to touch my hair now. She is extremely knowledgeable on hair and will give you great advice before and after your session to educate you on how to keep your hair healthy. I've already recommended friends to her and I hope this review leads more people to her because she deserves it!
I have been in AZ for 4 years now, and have FINALLY found an amazing hair expert! Trinity took the time to color match, ask questions, and make me feel at ease! I have had horrible experiences in the past years and I walked out of the salon finally feeling happy with my results! I bought some of the products she explained what they did, showed how much of each to use and gave me a lesson on how to use a diffuser! Apparently I have been doing it wrong! She is AMAZING!! The owner David was so sweet as I booked the appointment with him via IG and he came by and said hello. It's such a nice environment there! Trinity you are awesome!
I have rented my studio for almost 10 years. They are conveniently located in Glendale, with easy access to the building. Our building is maintained well and any problems encountered are dealt with in a timely manner. We have a nice community with a friendly atmosphere. The setup is nice, we have plenty of privacy, but the ability to socialize is there. Definitely worth checking out!
Dawn was friendly, attentive and really made certain that I was ok with everything she was doing & she would check the picture I had showed her at the start of the appointment. When I called I didn't think I would get one until next week sometime. Well.,.. fortunately for me her last appointment of the day cancelled and I got to get my hair done today. I absolutely freaking love it!!!!! Now I have a hairdresser and I won't go to anyone else because she knows what I like and we seemed to vibe, I would say it may as well been divine intervention that worked in our favor today because Dawn was counting on her client and I was hoping for a miracle to get my hair done if not today, then tomorrow, or the next. So... to the client who cancelled --thank you very, very much I felt very blessed today and Dawn made me feel very (be you tiful) again! I have been regular for a very long time to this Salon. She is wonderful person with amazing talent for Hair design according to person's face and hair texture to give a perfect haircut and hair perm. I love every time I go see her I feel like a new person because it's no maintenance after hair is done by her and it looks so natural people don't even realize it's perm. I enjoy it very much going there and Salon has a good atmosphere like visiting a family and Friends, thank you for all your beautiful work!

She took great care of me and I absolutely love my silk press, she is the bomb at feathering as well. JoJo even educated me on ways to preserve my hair while working out. She is the best hands down! UPDATE 12/23/2024 - Great cut from Omar today! Omar is a super nice guy and is very detail oriented. He cut my hair just as I requested and and also trimmed my eyebrows. Thank you Omar! I've gotten a haircut from 2 different barbers at Tailored Barbershop and THEY BOTH SANITIZED THEIR TOOLS BEFORE MY HAIRCUT - MUCH APPRECIATED - It's also required under AZ State Law and the Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board. A lot of barbershops don't sanitize their tools between clients, but the barbers at Tailored Barbershop do! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - ORIGINAL REVIEW - New customer! Perfecto gave me a great cut - just as I described ( I also showed him a few pics ). Perfecto is very nice, down to earth and easy to communicate with. Nice shop - and in a great location. I found my new Barber - Thank you Perfecto!
Vadim and Marina are not just wonderful barbers, but wonderful people! Colt has never had anyone but Marina cut his hair. She always makes him look great! They are both welcoming and friendly always ready to hear about how you are doing and remembering all you have talked about before. They will try their best to make your available time work whenever possible. We love them and highly recommend them to anyone needing a haircut, shave, facial, wax or just a friendly conversation.
Danny the owner is an amazing guy who knows how to cut all hair types. As a black man it’s very difficult to find someone in the Glendale area to cut my hair. He’s very well trained and versatile when it comes to hair. The shop is clean and in a very safe area and the music ? is also good. My 5th time here and he’s the only one in the entire state of AZ that’s allowed to touch my hair. Thank you Danny .

I really like coming here to jr’s. I’ve been coming here since I was 12 years of age now I’m almost 18. Every single haircut I’ve came and when I leave always get compliments. The barber Kevin was very professional and had a great depth of experience. He also made the hour go by like it was hanging out with your close friends! I have been going to see Michelle for injections for the past 7+ years and have NEVER had a negative experience. Michelle is great at not only making a comfortable environment and developing rapport with her customers, but she also gives great consults based on the results you’re looking for. There have been times when I have thought that I wanted to do injections that would not truly improve my appearance in the way that I wanted, and she advised me against them and either offered an alternative or suggested to stay away from doing the procedures entirely. She truly wants you to have great results, and for me has delivered exactly that every single time. I always recommend others to go to her, and everyone that I have pointed in her direction has echoed my same experiences. 5 stars for Michelle and Renewed Beauty!

You would think a nail salon at Walmart, is a big NO.... Think again. Customer service is friendly and what I love the most is that my nails don't hurt afterwards my nails don't burn as they're doing my nails and I found out it is because they do not use chemicals that are harmful so ladies and gents if you're looking for a safer way, get your acrylics done without that Methyl methacrylate (MMA) the bonding agent used in artificial nail products but is illegal to use. If your nails burn, it is because of that product. It is NOT supposed to burn when getting acrylics done.

Any color, glitter, foil, rhinestone, gel, metallic you want, she's got it! I can let her know what color I am thinking about and she takes it from there. Went here for the first time today. Katy, the stylist, was an expert and did a great job on my nails. She met every expectation of mine, and was an expert at her job. I was in and out of there in an hour, and very pleased with my nails. I will definitely be back in two weeks for my fill. The salon is very clean and provides great customer service.

I've known Tina for 20 years. In those years of going to her salon I've always had beautiful nails and pedicures. Nikki does my pedicure and she's awesome and very gentle at removing ingrown nails and skin. Both women are very friendly and professional with wonderful personalities. Went to Mr Kim in October for a hot perm, this was my first visit here and he explained the process in detail, made sure it was what I wanted and then he went to town. First he trimmed my hair, beautifully, and quickly, then he did the perm. It’s been 4 months now and I want to say that it is the best perm I’ve ever had. I have had so many compliments on my hair and everyone believing my curls were natural, even people who’ve known me for years. I would highly recommend Mr Kim and a haircut or hot perm. I will definitely go back. I must mention his salon is not fancy, has no frills, but if you want a beautiful perm or expert cut, GO!

Me personally, I don’t have a single tattoo and I’ll never have one. But for somebody to work in the Tattoo industry and be able to hold a conversation with someone who’s not a customer is very promising.
I can see why he stays so busy. I never caught his last name because I did not want to be weird, but it’s the guy with dreads and tattoos who’s always in a good mood. Maybe you guys know him better than me

Excellent experience. I was in search of someone for a helix piercing and found Ana (Ahh-nuh). Very glad that I did. Ana is very knowledgeable and told me all of the positives and negatives in choosing various jewelry. Ana' station was away from the tattoo artists for a bit of privacy. It was clean, the process was nearly painless and was very quick. I came back a few months later for a shorter post, Ana handled all of that as well. Ana is a straight talker. Tells it like it is, good bad and ugly with zero hesitation. Personaly I appreciate that, but some people might not. Want to see Ana smile though...talk about Ana's dogs! Great experience, and I fully trust Ana's expertise 100%.
I had an amazing experience at this tattoo and piercing shop! The environment was warm, inviting, and incredibly comfortable. The shop was spotless and maintained the highest standards of cleanliness, which made me feel very safe. The artists were not only highly skilled and confident but also professional and attentive to detail. They made the entire process enjoyable. I am extremely happy with the results and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for high-quality tattoos and piercings.

the only downfall was that they only had stainless steel for jewelry options (they had multiple color options though) but the cheap prices definitely make up for it. Angel did me and my cousins piercing (septum and industrial) and so far we are very pleased. The front desk lady was really pretty and silly but the place smelled like cat litter (oop ) I’m assuming it was the customers beforehand xoxo ?
Went in for my first tattoo last week and the staff were very helpful and patient with me getting a design picked and getting me set up with my first piece. Mike was very personable and did a great job! Really put me at ease and now I can't wait to go back for more.

Having Trish do my powder brows was the best decision I could've ever made. I have wanted to do my brows for years now, but I was always afraid because when I went in for a consultation, they would stamp me with a black brow template that looked harsh , thick and scary. And I noticed that all the brows on some of these websites were the same . Trish, on the other hand, took the time to carefully measure and map out my brows. I was able to get an idea of what the finished product would look like. She was very patient with me, calmed my fears, and took the time to thoroughly address my questions and explain the process to me. If I had known how painless this was going to be and how pleased I would be with the results, I would have done this a long time ago. But Trish's work and artistic skill have a lot to do with why I like my brows so much . She really takes the time to personalize everyone's brows so I was comfortable with my decision to get powder brows. She is also a very nice and kind person, and her prices were reasonable. I am only on day five, my brows are not completely healed, but I feel pretty and comfortable going out in public . They look soft and natural, and I know they will look even better with time . I can't thank you enough, Trish !!! I love my new look!

Ray is the best tattoo artist I’ve ever had. He managed to cover up a cover up that left me looking mangled and I thought I was just gonna have to blackout my chest or remove it with lasers prior. Tip him well he deserves it. Thank you Ray!!!!

I requested ambigram style tattoo that says "Serenety". Marcos made me feel very comfortable during the process. He verfied the tatoo size and placement, checking in with me during the session, snd even making me laugh a little, while he was doing the tattoo!
I'm visiting from SoCal, and Marco was also from around the same area. He moved to Glendale about 4 years ago, and opened up Avenue 58 Ink.
This is one of the very few tattoo shops in the Valley that has five stars, and this shop deserves every one!
Bottom line, Marco does truly amazing work! This is the next place you should get your work done, PERIOD.

Pop's plumbing came out installed me hybrid heat pump hot water tank and fixed both out side faucets. The job was one that was time consuming due to switching to a new tank system and having to be re-piped about 20 feet.The tank works fantastic and the piping he did looks great. We had a few plumbing questions and found Navarro Plumbing online. Louie came out and after looking at our issues, it turned out to be nothing major and he basically fixed the kitchen sink leak by twisting the faucet tighter he was very friendly and answered all of our questions, and at the end of the service call he said he couldn't charge us since he didn't really do anything and even after we insisted he take a tip, he just asked that we call him again when we have issues. Although he didn't do any major work, I was so taken back when he wouldn't charge us a service fee and it felt like we were dealing with more of a family friend than a company. Just found an awesome licensed electrician to fix a handymans many blunders. MK Electric 623-939-0438. I had Jake as the technician, who was communitive, on time and very knowledgeable. I found them via my home warranty. Very reasonable priced as well. In these times where everything is super expensive, a handyman is the choice by many. However, the cost to fix their mistakes doesn't make it worth it.

So far we have used Desert Dogs for two different jobs and are about to use them for a third. The first job was a yard cleanup, the second job was spreading 30 yd.³ of mulch. I suggest if you have specific instructions you want followed...make sure to be there when the work is being done and check on them often. because, On both of the first two jobs, even though people were repeatedly told what you needed of them, once they're supervisor left or left, they ignored the very specific instructions. The whole crew was given and decided to do what they thought should be done instead. Don't get me wrong. They did a good job, eventually but they had to redo some stuff because they didn't follow instructions. Which was just frustrating. However as its hard to find good people to do manual labor, i dealt with it. This next job will be a tub to shower conversion. As it will most likely be 1 person on the job, it should be easier to make sure things are done the way i need it done.

Highly recommended! We had a rattlesnake on the patio in the evening and called Kevin. He was here within 25 minutes, calmed everybody down and removed the snake within 2 minutes. He checked the property and the fence for potential leaks afterwards and educated us a little on snakes. Very professional and also a cool dude!
We've used Invader Pest Control for over a couple years. They're the best. Their technicians do a thorough job and address any issues that we have, which are few. This company also clears the exterior cobwebs from doors, windows and lighting. I've never had that service performed before and it's awesome!!

When our beloved 12 old yellow Labrador passed this morning, our call was answered immediately by a live person and tech, Joe, was here within 90 minutes to take the body.
Both were very sympathetic and Joe made sure our other fur babies had time to grieve.
I manage self storage and noticed a hive “resting” on a unit door. Called and I was told someone would be here in a few hours. Marino was here in less than an hour and said he would be able to get the majority with a live catch and transfer. I would have just let them stay and rest but I have a lot of customers in that area to worry about, I’m grateful the service was quick and the bees were removed without having to be killed!!!

My yard was serviced today by Dewan (not sure of the spelling), and I was thoroughly impressed. He was very thorough, and I know because I watched him the whole time, and he was courteous. He made sure that my gates were closed and secured. This was an A+ visit.
We needed to remove a palm tree that was over 30 feet tall and planted too close to the house. Roy came gave an estimate and we scheduled the removal for the following week. It was done efficiently and cleanly.

We had an emergency situation for our 8 year old son. He got hit by a baseball on a Friday night and his front adult tooth broke in half. We put it in milk for the night. He went to his baseball game on Saturday and then we researched emergency dentist places and found this one. I am SOOOO happy we did because we had the best experience. I told them over and over that its like they were a pediatric dentist because they handled my son so well. They were calm with him and caring and made him laugh. They explained everything to him very well too. Dr. Jonathan Abrams was a genius with how he administered the shot to numb his gums. Our son didn't feel a thing. I was super impressed. Courtney Sharp was a sweetheart and made us feel right at home for our first time there. We went to see a specialist a couple of weeks later and they said they were going to call Dr Abrams to let him know how great he did with our sons tooth. They said its great as is and we just have to go back in 30 days to check on the progress. Then we'll go every 6 months. They're hoping since he's still young his adult tooth will still have time for the root to grow and hopefully not even need a fake one. We will def use On Call Dentistry again :)

The office and dentist are great. The communication from the office is 2nd to none. My experience with Singh Smile Care was great all around. But Melissa (dental hygienist) is the absolute best. She’s the reason I drive a half hour from home and pass 112 other dental offices to go there!

I use Desert Willow for all my dental needs. Great staff great dentists, great oral hygienists, great dental assistants, and state of the art equipment. I have had dental anxiety in the past, but not here. It feels more like visiting family and getting your teeth done at the same time. They always get me in right away when I need it and their notification system never lets me forget an appointment. I recommend this place.

Dr Stanfield and his very capable dental assistants and staff are simply great at what they do. From setting up the appointment to assessing the needed work on my teeth, they were friendly, engaging and used the latest equipment. They are very good at putting you at ease. The modern office was spotless and orderly. Miss Kennedy and Miss Tracy answered all of my questions and concerns and made sure I left fully informed. It is easy to understand why they have a constant flow of patients. How could they improve? I don't know, expresso bar? I highly recommend this office if you are seeking dental care.
I was referred to Dr. Fullner about 8 or 9 yrs ago. I've also seen Dr. Goates, they are both Great! I am very leary of dentists. They both made me very comfortable and reassuring. The hygienists are also very friendly and pleasant. Let's not forget the ladies up front that run the whole office! They are friendly, funny and just great ladies!

As I get older my body gets strained. Dr Tim B is my body's savior. Suction cups and muscle scraping and some adjustments to get me on the path to feeling 100%. His wife Joni that at the front desk is always very courteous and extremely helpful.
Dr Sam and his team have a primary goal. That goal is to make you feel better than when you walked in. And that is very true! They are on time, yet always take the appropriate time with you. They have a wide range of treatments that set everybody's needs. Regular chiro care, dry needling, cryotherapy, ultrasound... That just names a few. My daughter and I have been going to Dr Sam for quite a while now sometimes more often than others because of our misuse of our body haha but he is always there to fix us up! The whole place has become like a family.
Started seeing Dr. Harris a few months ago and she's a miracle worker!!! I was in a lot of pain when I started, and I feel 100% better compared to when I started. I have been a patient of Dr. Melanie for a few months now. She has helped me tremendously with my shoulder and neck pain. I would highly recommend her to anyone suffering with these same issues. Dr. Melanie is a very knowledgeable chiropractor and can answer any questions as well as give insight to follow-up exercises and stretches at home to help with continuing progress.
Hurt by back couldn’t walk over 1/8 mile, couldn’t sit straight up in a chair. In 2 1/2 weeks of seeing Dr Stain I was flying home to Alaska a 7 1/2 hour trip with no pain. Thank you Dr Stain.

I looked for a good chiropractor for 15 years after I moved here. Finally found Dr. Logan and was immediately excited. He runs his office by himself and is very invested in his patients. He doesn't try to upsell you on continuous treatments that you may not need. He just fixes what your problem is and lets you, with some recommendations , decide for yourself. Basically if you want a good chiropractor and help with your pain Dr. Logan is the one to see!!
Dr. Warner has been such a Blessing to my family. She has treated me through my pregnancy, adjusted my newborn daughter along with my athlete sons and continues to adjust the whole family, 3 years later. She is knowledgeable, kind and amazing at what she does. Cheryl greets everyone with a smile and does a great job managing the flow of patients.

We've been coming to Acoma for 5 years, ever since my husband did a walk in appointment for our suddenly critically ill dog. Dr. Eells treated my husband and our dog with kindness and compassion. The team at Acoma have helped us with two end of life appointments and referred us to an in-home euthanasia vet during COVID when our elderly dog was actively dying and we had a newborn. I have always felt heard, had my questions answered, and been able to talk through all the options and ask for Dr. Eells' opinion on what course of action to take. We feel as though she has always given us moderate options and have never felt forced into a treatment or diagnostic test that wasn't necessary. The staff are kind, friendly, they recognize and know us by name and are always patient when I have to bring my kids. I know it's hard to be treating pets and talking to owners while their kids are interrupting but everyone has always been really patient with us. It has been really hard since the other vets retired and sometimes getting an appointment is a challenge but we're with Acoma for the long haul! Today, October 16, we rushed our 5 year old dog into the office 5 minutes after they opened because she had been vomiting blood over the weekend. We tried AVECCC and it wasn't a good experience for us. Acoma was able to fit us in as walk ins right away, we did X-rays and got medications and a treatment plan in an hour. It was far more affordable, too. I asked questions about what to look for, when to come back if needed, etc and feel good about bringing our dog home. If you do have to go as a walk in, try to go early and be prepared to wait but they will do their best to see you next a timely manner. Thank you for 5 years of compassionate care of our critters and us humans!
Sun valley hope it’s a great place to take your four legged family members. I first dealt with them when I had to take my 13yr old dog to be helped to go to rest asleep , the vet and staff gave me time to be with him while he fell asleep and even cried with me. They made a paw print for my family to remember him by. I just took my other 2 ,4 legged kids to get vaccinated and they called me 24 hours later just to check in on them to make sure they were doing fine after the vaccines. Sun valley hope hospital will be our place to go for all of our 4 legged kids needs. P.S. they are budget friendly and inexpensive as well as loving our 4 legged children.

I travel to a bit to get to Acoma because they're the best. They really care about the pets, no matter how naughty they might be! All the staff is extremely knowledgeable. The front office is always friendly and helpful. And the doctors? I've never been more confident in my pets' care. I literally LOVE any doctor that I've seen there. Over the years my family has owned A LOT of dogs (usually 4+ at any given time), and after finding Acoma, I'll never go anywhere else. I'm always confident in their work and opinions.I hand my babies off to the techs without another thought, because they're always so good with them, even our snappers!
My shih-poo titus fell off the bed in his sleep at 2:30 am on the 16th of Dec. and landed on his front leg fracturing it in two places I found out at ER he was fractured. I was recommended by the ER to CARE . They did my consult and surgery same day Dec 17.
Let me just tell you OMG they are absolutely amazing! If you’ve had a pet injured, you know how terrible it is the anxiety the mixed emotions from initial contact to the end of surgery. Everything was sooooo professional and caring. I the anxious mom I am sat up there waiting for his surgery to be over the staff kept me company while I got constant updates throughout.
As soon as I met the surgeons I knew he would be in good hands . The surgeon Dr Bleakley spoke with me before and after the procedure .
I highly recommend this surgery center.
They were very compassionate when we had to bring our elderly dog in for end of life care.
The team at Desert Sky was able to take in Penelope right away after she was suffering a severe allergic reaction to a bee sting. The nurse immediately did triage upon our arrival and a vet saw her soon afterwards. I felt safe and comfortable leaving Penelope under their observation for a few hours to see how the meds would affect her. She’s been doing great at home and having a speedy recovery. I look forward to bringing her here for her yearly checkups from now on. Very grateful for this wonderful team.

This place is amazing! The staff there are so friendly. They’re courteous to customers. They are so loving and gentle with your fur babies. Our dog Molly was very comfortable with the staff. I have been going to 43rd Avenue Animal Hospital for over 20 years. My whole family goes there with all of our fur babies and each one receives excellent care. The staff and Dr. Strylie and Dr. Darmofal are gentle, caring and honest. It's pricey but worth the peace of mind.

Claire is amazing! She offers different types of massages and all have been great! She listens to her customers needs and customizes your massage to your likings and needs. I always feel relief and relaxed. Love that her massages are for a full hour or for the full time that the service is booked. I have been to other massage places where it is booked for an hour but the massage is only 45 mins. You won't go wrong booking a massage with Claire!
I've been seeing Shelley for awhile now. Her massages are very relaxing (I have fallen asleep on the table) and have been targeted to areas that are bothering me. She is also very knowledgeable on exercises that have helped me overcome and prevent injuries on areas I have struggled with. I'm also a breast cancer survivor and she is trained on the lymphatic system and gives great advice on preventing and managing lymphedema. Getting a massage from her is truly a treat I look forward to.

Dr. Gamino is an amazing person! I was in a terrible car accident and she worked through my back issues. My lawyer was pressuring me to go to a physical therapist that they had a relationship with, and didn't seem to care about my recovery, just interested in closing the case quickly and getting their money. So I decided to come and see Dr. Gamino on my own accord. She not only treated my car accident issues, but also has worked with me over the years with other remedies, that are always holistic and gives me information to help me help myself at home if something acts up. Pricing is also fair, and she works with most insurance companies. The office is pleasant with calming music, and scents. It is very welcoming. I highly recommend her for any of your holistic, chiropractic, massage, or acupuncture needs.

The PT department at Honor Health is outstanding. My first visit was with Kari and she was so encouraging and because she had the same experiences I had- a lot of my questions and concerns were addressed.
