“First visit here & I’m already thrilled. Second appointment booked before I left. She is tucked away next to Hunt Real Estate. I think it says “wellness” on the door, I meant to take a picture. She is young in practice but is a believer in traditional & old skool ways of acupuncture & cupping.First things first, it’s a nice quiet space that she has. It’s kind of tucked away & not what you would expect. But again, super nice & quiet. The room we were in was spacious and allowed for social distancing but was not so big that either of us had to yell or speak loudly to hear the other. She has some nice relaxing music playing. The first appointment is a get to know you session & let’s treat you. I really appreciated how she really took the time to get to know me. Even with my answers that were not at all straightforward. Everything isn’t always yes or no & she was very patient. She also does the traditional blood pressure cuff where she manually inflates & listens. Seriously, I love that! She supported my arm, not everyone does that.Getting down to treatment. The needles were painless & she worked quickly but was extremely thoughtful in her placement. She continually checked my pulse & let the pulse guide her & her placement. It may not be what everyone is used to but I loved it! She made sure I was comfortable & even put the heat lamp on my feet. Definitely winning there! She left me alone for about 20 mins., turned off the lights, & left me in peace. It was peace, I fell asleep!When she came back, she knocked gently, & then let me know she was turning on the lights. Then she did the traditional moxibustion. Love this treatment. She has smokeless if you prefer & I thought that was lovely to have that choice.Very easy to make an appointment online with her & the first time patient forms are all online. You will receive an email with a link to complete the forms.Very relaxed.“
