Manny was great, super professional. This was my first time coming to In The Cut Barbershop and both my kids left really pleased. My youngest son was in the chair first he was happy and excited with his haircut and Manny made him feel welcomed and comfortable. Unfortunately my oldest child had a bad experience with a previous baber that his father took him too 🤦🏽♀ I was able to bring him to Manny last minute on the same day and my son left very pleased and happy. We loved our family mani pedis today! The staff is always SUPER friendly! They follow sanitary precautions and the shop is always clean! Krissy is the best. I have been with her for 7 or 8 years now and will not ever go to anyone else. She is a perfectionist so I never have to worry about any missed spots and she has always made me comfortable. I have referred several people to her who also love her. Her studio is also very clean and I don't have to worry about germs, especially as a chemo patient who has a compromised immune system. I highly recommend her!

I chose to splurge for my birthday and try something I saw in a YouTube video...A Japanese Head Spa. If you don't know what that is, please google it. It was nothing short of amazing. Parking & Location This was located at a strip mall so the parking was plentiful. It was a huge parking lot so I see no one having issues finding a parking spot. This was located in a suite of salons located in Woodbridge, VA. Ambiance The entrance was very secure as it was double doors and you needed to call your stylists before being granted entry to the actual suites. In between the double doors is a small sitting area. I used the directory to dial Anna Mae and she responded fast. She was out to greet me within minutes. I followed her back to her private salon where I was surprised to see that there were no other clients. Normally, at any salon you'll have one person under the hair dryer, another waiting, and one still in the chair finishing up. This was already a plus because it was a custom experience. Experience She begun by introducing herself to me and showing me as well as telling me about her certifications. She is not only a Licensed Cosmetologist but also a Certified Japanese Head Spa Specialist. Next she offered me snacks and chai tea....happily excepted all of the above. I mean these were the good snacks, kind bars, Olli Pop soda, RXBAR protein/granola bars, and fresh chai tea. She explained the service options and possible add-ons. I opted for the deep cleaning option. Then she brought out the camera and showed me my scalp that I do not grease but looked like it hadn't been washed in a long while. She proceeded to take me over to the shampoo table, yes you lay down to get your hair washed. She provided me with a steam warm eye patch to place over my eyes, and I got under a big cozy blanket. She put a pillow under my legs so I would be comfortable. She was very gentle as I have type 4 natural hair and she took her time to separate my hair into sections, detangle, and used her finger pads to scrub my head. As if that was not enough, she asked permission to massage my feet and later my back. Consent is so important and she definitely understood that. Of course I agreed and was basically in heaven. I believe the massagers were percussion massagers so they had some power to them. When I was all washed, I went back to the chair and received a scalp massage as well. Then she showed me my scalp again on the camera and explained the treatment to me. It looked like someone else's head based on the earlier video. I could even see where some of the follicles were trapped and unable to grow from the previous build up and had now been freed (if that makes sense). I opted for the blow dry add on because why not. She'd been so gentle with my type 4 hair and I figured I would milk it. LOL the experience was immaculate and Anna Mae was a wonderful stylist!! Ten out of Ten would absolutely recommend her services. I will be back for special occasions or treats :).

Truly outstanding service. I took a chance on this small business because my normal stylist was booked out 8+ weeks, and I'm so glad I did. Nickie came to my house and took time talking about what I was trying to achieve with my hair. I have very curly hair that has been color treated, and often times stylists don't know a lot about curly hair. She made absolutely certain what I wanted and was able to pepper in knowledge along the way. Nickie dealt with multiple interruptions by my kids and pets like a pro, and we had great conversation the whole time! She is a true master artist with hair and took her time on me, making sure every piece looked great. I am thrilled with how my hair turned out, and will definitely be back.

I can’t say enough kind and recommending words for the service I just received! I called yesterday to to inquire about plumbing services needed as soon as possible. I was given a next day appointment and my technician was Mario. He was in and out in about 10 minutes. The price I was quoted was accurate which I was very nervous about after different quotes that seemed too high and like a rip off. I pray this clogged toilet situation never happens again but in case it does, they’re saved to my contacts as my go to!! Thank y’all so much!!

I needed to replace water heater right before the big snowstorm. 1 stop was out 2 hours after I contacted them. Jon and his team did a fantastic job and prices are more than reasonable. I will be using them again for plumbing and electrical! Great job! Excellent customer service!!!
Our experience with the owner Reid, is nothing short of fantastic. He really knows his stuff and is just an all around great human being. He was so responsive via text even before our appointment - just trying to walk us through what the problem could be. I see the bad reviews about missed appointments or reschedules. We did have to wait a while for him to get here but customers need to understand that this is a smaller company. Sure you can call FH Furr or Roto Rooter and they can send a 20 year old technicial with minimal training to you the next day. And have them tell you your house is falling apart and you need 20K work of work, etc. Having worked with those larger companies for plumbing many times --- they SUCK. They just want to take your money and their techs make commission so the more they upsell you the more they make.
Reid isn't like that. He might not be able to get to you for a week but he's a quality guy. He'll spend time trying to find the problem and repairing it. And he will give you options and recommendations for what to do first. He even recommended an HVAC company and the owner of that company called me himself to try to take care of us.
We would highly recommend Northern Virginia Plumbing. Frankly we'd let Reid work on just about anything in our house that he said he could fix. He knows his stuff and is seemingly a very honest guy to boot.

Mr Roger’s Electricity completely updated the electricity panel that was built in 1966… upon examination the workers discovered 4 circuit breakers that had multiple circuits attached rather than 1 circuit. My house was built with just a 100 amp circuit. I was not aware of that situation. Given all the items I have on my home if too many items were turned on I would be approaching that level. The crew, working with Dominion raised the current to 200 amps. This crew earned 5 stars for their effort and attention to every electrical my 60+ years old home needed upgrade. While finishing the panel It was discovered that the 1966 outlets put on my house when it was built were actually coming apart into pieces of plastic. Given the possibility of fire I asked the team to examine every outlet in my house and replace every plug with a new one. If I have another electrical needs…. I will call this company. Yelp grades this company with over 300 5 star reviews…. I will add another.
The service technician (Jose) arrived within 90 minutes of my request for the service call. He was courteous, efficient and very professional. He made several helpful recommendations and completed the projects within a few hours. Afterwards he conducted a walkthrough of his work and answered our questions. I was very pleased with his ability, attitude and service. I will use J&S Electric in the future and recommend them to my friends.

I stop by and met with Darrin Benson a few days ago. I needed to make a couple copies of some keys and change the locks so that all the locks went with one key. Darrin knocked it out in 10 mins and I was thinking I needed to come back several days later. Darrin also helped me with a new door lock, he quickly realized that there was an internal mechanism to change the direction of the lock. FANTASTIC service, thank you Darrin.

We had an unexpected water pipe leakage and had to tear down part of our ceiling, walls and remove the carpet. The team came in quickly and helped to put the walls up, paint, and install carpet in our entire basement in two days. Tuck and his crew did an amazing transformation of our driveway and front entrance. We went from a rapidly deteriorating asphalt drive way to a new concrete driveway, a new stone walkway, and stone put over our existing plain concrete front stoop. Tuck is very easy to work with. For example he met with us for initial design of our front entrance, he met us at the stoneyard to help pick out the right stone for the walkway and front stoop, and he coordinated closely with our carpenter who was building a portico over the front stoop. Tuck is very meticulous and detailed about his work, and it is obvious that he takes great pride in it. From design to completion we give Tuck GC 5 a star rating!
Nv Improvements did an excellent job on our deck.We had them do some remodeling in our basement a couple of years ago and we were very impressed with their work so we called them back to replace our old deck.All of the crew members are very courtious and the clean up very good before they leave everyday. Working with the Frazier Painting and General Contracting team has been a wonderful experience. After inquiring about repairs I was greeted on time by an extremely professional and friendly member of the team at the property. Without wasting any time, the team member LJ quickly went to work and displayed his experience and knowledge in the field. When I asked questions out of curiosity about certain steps in the process of the repair, LJ explained the step by step and made it sound like an easy repair procedure.
After completing the repair and delivering impressive results, LJ proceeded to give advice on preventing this mishap from occurring again as well as pointing out other errors in the property and explaining how it can easily be repaired.

Our realtor recommended Duran Contracting initially just for a few small projects to get us ready to list our home for sale. We started with a whole house powerwash, a storm door install and some paint touch-up. Prices appeared high average at first, but then I saw ALL that they did - exterior caulking on three levels (nearly 4,000 SQ. feet), trim paint touch-up, door alcove build-out, drywall repair, and every little detail attended to (in-scope or not) to get things just right. They were now a bargain for work of the highest quality!
I am the daughter of a (late) general contractor and in my 6th decade of life and I have never encountered a contractor this skilled, detail-oriented, professional, generous, fair-priced and kind as the father-son team lead by son, Sebastian, on our project - not in Northern Virginia and not anywhere else in the country for that matter.
We went wild and added several change orders extending an initial two-day project into several days over two weeks to include electrical, plumbing, full-room painting, cabinet repair and more.
They even helped us with packing and moving our boxes and furniture when we were running out of time and one of their projects was delayed by a day.

Today I had my annual Sentricon bait check. In the past we had some issues so this time Kim Strohl(manager at Horner rd paramount ) came out with a tech to see what was going on. She found that my house was missing bait stations so she had the tech install a number of them around my back patio.
In all the years we have had Home Paramount, we have never had such a thorough inspection.
Ms Strohl went above and beyond as I believe all managers should. She takes pride in a job well done. Paramount should hire all their managers with the qualities and concerns that ms Strohl possesses.

Tyler came out and went into the attic and climbed and walked the full roof line. He asked a few questions and said, you don't have squirrels in your attic. Offered a suggestion on our gutter guard and left. Unlike a couple of other national companies who claimed there were squirrels and quoted over $3500 for work these guys were good and honest and left w/ no money.

I cannot say enough good things about this company! They answered the phone on a Sunday, the day after a terrible storm with lots of damage in the area. They came out the next day to assess the damage to my backyard, which included lots of glass cleanup. They quoted me a very reasonable price and came out two days later and did a fantastic job trying to clean up all of the damage. When I went to RenovaSmiles in Woodbridge for my bi-annual cleaning, my hygienist found a damaged crown. To my surprise, rather than having to wait to make a follow up appointment to address the crown, they immediately accommodated me during my visit. They began the step one of the two step crown replacement procedure. Today I had my final crown installing appointment. Bruno was fantastic in describing every step of the process as he permanently seated my crown. It was a pain free and quick process.

Love this place! I started my journey to chiropractic wellness abt three years ago. I had issues with a misaligned rib, tight shoulders, and stiff neck. With the exception of random misalignments from every day living, the tightness and stiffness have been alleviated.I also had an unexpected benefit of chiropractic services, no more migraine headaches! I had a frozen shoulder that was treated through traditional physical therapy over a 2 year period. However, Dr Bakalis and Dr Rizwan are the specialists who affected my recovery the most. By using Chiropractic techniques in conjunction with a Robotic Laser they successfully alleviated my pain, and increased my mobility and strength. I have improved significantly in the past 6 weeks after treatments here. My recovery has been remarkable.
Dr Han his direct, very knowledgeable and understands that spine and skeleton change and contract with age. Stretching every day is critical. He trains his patients so we xsn work at home to avoid surgery and pills as long as possible.

Dr. Andolina is very thorough, compassionate and knowledgeable. He takes the time to actually listen to his patients so he can advise and treat them accordingly. Dr Prime is a wonderful Veterinarian ! She is very professional and you can tell she loves her profession. She and her Assistant were very kind and caring to our pet-treated her as if she was their own. The office is well staffed and very friendly. They keep you up to date and do everything to make your visit pleasant.

Great service! My dog went in for her vaccinations and they were very helpful in keeping her from getting nervous or anxious. She loved the treats! Lol
We have taken five dogs to Dr Parks. We have been with him for over 15 years. He is caring ,kind ,and very reasonable, always been very nice to us and my animals. He does have broken English, but if you ask him to repeat, you’ll be able to understand Best veterinarian in town!
The grooming department is excellent. I have never disliked a hair cut my dog has gotten here. Kathy is super friendly and tries to get to know your dog. As far as Veterinary care, it's great, but seems a bit expensive to me compared to some other places. I toured the boarding facility today and I will just say I highly recommend taking a tour of ANY boarding facility prior to leaving your dog overnight. While the employee who gave the tour could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable, this is not a place I would board my dog based on the look and feel of the boarding facilities. It was not bright, cheery, happy, or fun looking whatsoever. The opposite.
River Oaks is the absolutely best Vet office I have ever used. After 40 years of having pets I always left the Vets office feeling like they were more concerned building my bill than my animals. When I got Daisy a year ago I was determined to find a small practice with a common sense old fashion Doctor. I am delighted to say that's exactly what I found with Dr. Scott Mckorkindale and is fabulous staff.
I brought Daisy in for her first physical, later had her spayed. Today I brought her in her shots and flee, tick and heart worm prevention. Not only was I not charged for a office visit Dr. Mckorkindale shaved and cleaned around her eyes.
Every time we leave the office my husband, I and Daisy are thrilled with the experience we had!
Joey did an excellent job at grooming our dog Lucky. He hadn't had a proper haircut in 2 years. We found our dog groomer and look forward to keeping Lucky groomed.
Called them really last minute and they were able to fit both my dogs in the same day! Had a great experience and both my dogs were groomed very well. They even gave them both cute little collars! Prices were reasonable and we will definitely be returning in the future.
Brought our five year old super anxious golden doodle Saint for a very overdue grooming appointment. They were so attentive and took excellent care of Saint. We were concerned that Saint would be a difficult client for them and may end up looking rough because he was very matted and overgrown. We were blown away with how well Saint looked after his appointment. No cuts, scrapes or bald patches. He looked adorable and we will definitely be coming back for all of his future grooming needs and not wait so long either. I highly recommend Mr. Woof dog care especially if you have concerns with an anxious dog. Thank you so much to the whole team for how well you treated Saint.

Great atmosphere and very friendly people! Like seriously, the owner and instructors at this place have to be some of the most welcoming and nicest bunch of people that I’ve ever met.I tried their free 3-day yoga pass and enjoyed it. However, I will say that this studio places (or seems to place) a heavy emphasis on spirituality vs. yoga as a form of exercise/fitness. As someone who’s loosely spiritually, at most, it was a nice thing to experience, but was a bit too much for me personally. So if you’re like me, and enjoy meditative practice in your yoga sessions but want the focus to be on fitness/balances/cardio, this might not be for you either. I also found myself wishing that they had more class offerings throughout the week, but they are a small privately owned studio, so I get it. Overall, I would very much recommend this place to anyone looking to really incorporate their inner spirituality into their yoga practice. Namaste!

I purchase the infared sauna package (12 -40 min sessions for $99) and come here 3-4 times a week to destress. It’s perfect.

After a really bad experience at a different PT location last year where I actually left in worse shape than when I started, I was honestly afraid to ever try physical therapy again. Because of that, I took my time calling around and specifically looked for a location that had experience working with patients who are post-op from major back surgery and scoliosis.
Choosing this Inova location was absolutely the right decision. The difference has been night and day.
From the moment I walked in, the front desk team has always been welcoming and kind. That first impression really set the tone before I even met my therapists.
I attend sessions twice a week, primarily working with Lisa and occasionally with Debbie, and both of them have been wonderful.
Lisa is attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. She actually listens to what I’m saying and pays attention to how I’m responding during exercises. Even when I try to push through something, she notices right away if it’s becoming too much and adjusts the session so I don’t overdo it.
Debbie has the same level of care, but in a slightly more “stern but supportive” way that I respond to well. Especially when I haven’t been following instructions like using my walker. I can tell she truly cares and wants what’s best for my recovery.
Recovery after surgery like this isn’t fast or easy, but having a team that genuinely cares and is focused on helping me heal safely makes a huge difference. I actually look forward to my PT sessions now, even knowing the work can be tough.
I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone, especially people recovering from surgery or dealing with complex spine issues.

As a nervous driver, I was really anxious about getting behind the wheel especially when I'm under evaluation but my instructor was very patient never made me feel rushed or stressed and gave me clear practical tips to help me polish my driving.
