I’ve been attending classes for about a month after taking the intro to yoga workshop (highly recommend as a starting point). There is a nice variety of classes offered, and Aliya is a great teacher! She has created a very welcoming, kind, and judgement-free space. I also really appreciate Aliya’s care for our local community and the ways that she does good through her studio.
Customer service was great. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating. The salon was nice and clean.I am very grateful that I was able to get a same day appointment for a very specific hairstyle. Abiy took care of me today. I wanted straight back cornrows with added extensions. She did warn me that she would do a test braid first before continuing to see if I would like it. I appreciated that as I know not a lot of people know how to do African-American hair.Overall she did a great job for something she might not have been used to.One thing I noticed when I got home is that a couple of the braids did start to unravel probably due to being cut just a little too short but the rest of the braids are fine.I was also a bit taken aback by the price which was $180. I am not sure if that’s the standard as I am new to the area but that is a steep price for what is usually a style that doesn’t last very long and is fairly simple. I should have done my research for sure but I know for next time.

Dave did an excellent job for me clearing up a tax issue from a past year. He even took a look at previous years and found an error (to my favor). Was always available to meet with. Very fast turn-around time. Very reasonable rates. When the IRS was being non-responsive (and incorrect on one occasion) with responses to our submissions, he was persistent and stayed on top of them.
