Dale City Animal Hospital provides high-quality healthcare with a caring staff dedicated to the well-being of pets. Recently relocated to a larger and cleaner facility, the hospital offers a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. Clients appreciate the courteous front desk staff, who ensure prompt check-in, although a standard wait time may occur for appointments.
Dr. Drake, a compassionate veterinarian, is noted for her informative approach and attentiveness to pet owners' concerns. She takes the time to explain findings and recommend treatment plans, demonstrating a genuine commitment to her patients. One client highlighted her dedication, mentioning that Dr. Drake took time out of her busy day to share lab results personally.
Long-time clients express their love for the staff, noting their friendly demeanor and exceptional care provided to their pets. The team also emphasizes education, helping pet owners understand their animals' needs better. In urgent situations, the hospital is prepared to prioritize care, as demonstrated when a veterinarian performed emergency surgery on a family pet facing a life-threatening issue. The entire staff was wonderful, and they are highly recommended. They treat pets like family, and because of the team, a boy who swallowed a corn cob is still here. The staff was outstanding, and a scared pet was calmed completely down.

My first visit with my puppy Red. The entire staff was wonderful. highly recommend them.
There is another Vet out there that says “We treat your pets like family.” Well they were wrong, Dale City Animal Hospital is where I felt they treated my boy like family, I will never forget the kindness I was shown and my boy (who swallowed a corn cob). I had called EVERYONE and no one was willing to help, they made it happen. Because of your team, I still have my boy. Thank you doesn’t quite describe it.
I have been bringing my pets to Dale City/Gunston Animal Hospitals for years, and they always provide the care my furry friends need. The staff from the front desk to the doctors are always on point. Highly recommend!
