Our very old. Quaker parakeet is quite sick. We had him to an emergency vet when we were traveling and knew we needed to see a local vet. I am so grateful to have an avian vet almost in our neighborhood. In years passed, this wasn't even a possibility so we were very happy to find Ridge Lake animal hospital.The staff there is wonderful. The intake worker seems to have an incredible amount of knowledge which was not expected and a pleasant surprise. He was both reassuring and quite helpful. I first scheduled my Lionhead rabbit Violet online on a Wednesday and on Thursday someone called to confirm her appt for Friday. Scheduling Violet’s appt was very easy. At her appt we had no wait time. Dr. Joshi and her assistant was very nice, knowledgeable, proficient, gentle, and made Violet feel at ease. The hospital was clean, the staff is friendly and greeted Violet and I with a smile. In addition they gave my girl treats! This will be Violets care team for as long we remain in Northern Virginia. It sucks that I didn’t remember her assistant name, but she’s the one with the soothing voice, you can hear her smile thru the phone and her eyebrows are flawless!...read full review

Dr. Joski and assistant Jeffery were woonderful. They both loved our cat and treated her very well. She was a cooperative kitty and stayed very still through the exam and all is well. When it came time for blood work she did not cooperate at all. Dr. Joski asked us to come back for the blood draw and gave us a couple of pills to give her before her next visit that will calm her down. We have been going to Ridge Lake for about fourteen years and recommend it highly.
