I originally came to visit Dr. Pendar Esmaeli for acupuncture because I was experiencing insomnia and an imbalance of hormones during pregnancy. Dr. P’s devotion to her trade and kindness not only helped me, but changed my life. She is the only doctor who listened to me, validated all of my feelings/ hormones, and worked with me for a solution. I finally feel 100% like myself again and am eternally grateful for everything she did for me. I feel confident knowing that if I start to experience any of the same feelings I did again postpartum that I will be ok, and an appointment with Dr. P will be the first one I make.

Dr. Esmaeili is fantastic. I went to see her for a very bad pain I was having in my hip, after the first visit I was feeling so much better almost no pain at all. She explains everything very thoroughly and makes sure you’re comfortable and understand everything before she proceeds

I can not recommend Dr. Esmaeili enough! I woke up one day with half my face not moving! In the end after going to he ER it was Bell’s palsy I was prescribed medication (which is not even proven to work) and my primary doctor tried to tell me to go to a neurologist(which isn’t even needed for Bell’s palsy) I was fed up with the doctors and very self conscious about my face I started researching alternative therapies and saw acupuncture as one. I called Back to Health and Dr. Esmaeili booked me an appointment and even gave me things I can do to myself in the meantime to try and help work the muscles that were affected.
