I was very happy with my entire experience with INOVA Breastfeeding. Dr. Bodnar spent two hours with us explaining the Anatomy of the breast as well as hand expressing milk. She is extremely knowledgeable on the subject and also creates a welcoming environment and respected my wishes throughout the breastfeeding process. Dr. Daggle also called me on a Saturday to talk to me for 30 minutes in detail about my concerns with breastfeeding. As a physician myself, I believe what they are doing is truly inspirational.

She looks at the lab results and makes sure I am up to date on all my preventative care. She listens to my questions, taking the time to answer. She keeps up with the latest studies and makes recommendations based on them. She can sometimes be hard to understand, but she will repeat herself when asked. She is a great partner in your cancer journey.

I have been going to Pooneh for a few years and she is amazing. I lost my last stylist during Covid, and it was difficult to find someone who understood my hair type, which can be easily damaged if it is not colored correctly. Pooneh is so friendly, she really listens, amd she helped me see I had many more options for my hair. Our hair also changes as we age, and she understands that and is great at covering grey. My cuts are always perfect, and she gives me excellent advice on how to keep my hair healthy. I also bring my mother to her, who is near 80 and very shy. Pooneh quickly got my mom talking and gave her a hairstyle she can easily maintain, and my mom now feels so much more confident about her appearance. I highly recommend Pooneh.

I had an amazing experience at Ayoosh. She was so kind and sweet. From the moment I walked in she made me feel comfortable. She talked to me throughout most of my hair cut she was super friendly and made me laugh. I would 100% recommend coming here. She makes you feel super comfortable and relaxed. She didn’t push any products on me to purchase. She told me what are items I could use in my hair from Walmart. My hair cut came out so beautiful. The next day I wanted to add more texturizing in my hair and she was super nice and helpful at having me come in that day and scheduling around my job. I will say the price of the haircut is a little high and did surprise me but for the hospitality and customer service I received I was completely okay with spending that much she also does provide water and snacks to her customers which I think is such a nice touch. I will definitely be coming back again!

This is my first time giving a review but my experience at the salon and with my nail tech Mia, I felt as if I was in good hands. The salon was clean and welcoming and from now on this will be my go to salon. Since it was my first time using powder for my nails, I was a little scared, but thanks to Mia's wonderful skills, not only did they come out great, but even 10 days after my appointment, I've yet to see any scratches or markings on my nails. They feel strong and sturdy so I am able to go on about my day without any worries.

Read wonderful reviews about Hussein working with kids cuts. Brought our almost 2 year old son in for his first haircut experience with Hussein. Hussein was very polite and did an amazing job cutting our son’s hair. Hussein remained super calm even though our son was crying through the haircut. Hussein took breaks so our son could calm down and made sure our son was safe while using the barber tools to cut his hair. Hussein gave a little toy truck for our son to play with during the haircut and was kind enough to give a lollipop at the end of the appointment. Definitely will be coming back to Hussein!

My 5 year old got his hair cut. His hair is crazy to cut he has all types of cow licks and his head is busy. The man that cut his hair seemed to be the owner and he was a great host. GO HERE! I have been coming here for a few months now, and I have never once been disappointed by the service I have received here. The atmosphere is great, and everyone is so kind and funny! It’s seriously just got a great energy the minute you walk in! They’ve got an unmatched nail polish selection, it is such a treat to get your nails done here.
The previous nail techs I’ve seen do not even come close to this place, it’s seriously a gem, and I recommend it to literally everyone I know/anyone that compliments my nails (and since coming here, I have gotten so many compliments on my nails!)
I only go to Leah Shin, who was recommended to me by a friend, and she has never once let me down. She deserves the credit for the amazing work she does! Not only does she have a fantastic personality (and I’m not even exaggerating that), but she has always taken the time to do my nails, and never once rushed. It’s very clear that she’s an expert, and if I had to give anyone creative control over my nails it would only ever be her! The first time I went there, she gave me the best nail set I had EVER had, and it’s only gotten better since. I’m always blown away by how great her work is. She does great gel-x, builder gel, and has even helped me repair multiple broken nails before —and I’m not talking about a chip, I’m talking my nail was broken straight down the middle and she still found a way to repair it!! Leah Shin is seriously the most talented nail tech I’ve ever been to, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else to get my nails done. Would recommend over and over and OVER again!

I took my grandmother to this nail spa for a pedicure and the staff was very friendly and took very good care of my grandma. It was clean and spacious enough to not feel crowded. They had a very large family party and were able to take care of everyone at the same time.

The technicians were incredibly caring, gentle, and extremely detail-oriented. My mom is usually very sensitive with anything near her eyes, but she was so comfortable that she almost fell asleep during her appointment! That alone says everything.

Michelle is incredibly detail-oriented and careful—something that truly sets her apart. I’ve had facials in the past where areas were missed during dermaplaning (which drives me crazy!) or where it felt like the facialist was just going through the motions. But not with Michelle. Lora is amazing! I brought my daughter here for a piercing and she was very thorough in both explaining and making sure everything lined up perfectly. Honestly, Armando was really cool. I took my son to get his first tattoo and he had a great experience. Armando explained everything to him, made sure he was comfortable, and took his time through the whole process. If you’re thinking about getting a tattoo, definitely hit up Armando.
I have been getting my eyebrows microbladed by Yunmi for three years now and she's the BEST. My eyebrows look incredible! I grew up in the 90s where you plucked your eyebrows out of existence, Yunmi has saved me. I have eyebrows again and they look so good. I definitely recommend going to her.
You can see all of her work on her instagram (@mybrow247) and the booking process was very straightforward. I texted the number on her instagram and was able to get an appointment for the following weekend. The day before my appointment, she texted me a reminder as well as pictures of the address/building number.
She customized my eyebrow shape and was very meticulous with the whole process, including checking how my eyebrows would move when opening and closing my eyes. The tattoo part did not hurt (since your eyebrows get numbed, you can hear the sound but I personally didn't think it was painful).
I'm obsessed with the result -- my eyebrows look very natural and frame my face perfectly. You must go to her -- her eye for design is above and beyond.
Paul the best plumber came for my kitchen which was clogged for 2 days , he came friday afternoon cleaned the drain of kitchen sink with a plumber auger , he unclogged it with a couple of hours , very professional work , I highly recommend
This guy did a good job on my Grohe shower fixture. Most plumbers don’t want to touch them.
Used plumbing services and was surprised by the expertise of Ed and his team in their persistence to clean a clogged pipe that had been previously diagnosed to need digging up the floor for replacement. Also, had a sink basin replaced that meant granite top needed to removed. Ed was able to do so without breakage. I am very pleased with work from Steinhorst!
Interstate replaced my main sewer line using the pipe bursting which preserved most of my yard and large shrubs. The Team did an outstanding job and were very careful to not damage, cables, lighting etc. I would strongly recommend them for any future work.
We've had to call for a few repairs on our older office toilets. FJ Hooks has been prompt, respectful/professional, and very reasonably priced. We will definitely continue to use them as needed.
Long's has performed plumbing work at our house for over 10 years. During that time their plumbers have installed sinks, insinkerators, a steam generator, replaced several non-functioning water valves, and discovered and restored water lines in the house that had leaked inside a wall and ceiling. The work done was always excellent and took care of whatever we needed done. They were always timely as far as arrivals, cleaned up after they were done and were pleasant to work with. They remain our first choice for any of our plumbing needs.
We needed work done in two bathrooms and have not been pleased with our current plumbers which is part of a large firm whose name is widely recognized in the area. A good friend recommend Gidders to me awhile ago so when our current needs surfaced we decided to try them. We were very happy with the entire process. Patrick responded quickly and he was to the point and efficient with everything from beginning to end. We liked his no-nonsense attitude and knowledge. His brother Chris also helped with some of the work as well. The service was great the prices were reasonable which, again, was much better than our previous big name provider. Everything was just like dealing with a small company in every way which we found refreshing. We won't hesitate to call them, again.

Longer version: Had multiple electrical projects around the house and needed an electrician. These guys were recommended by a neighbor so I tried them out on a single recessed light fixture that wouldn’t turn on. They figured out the issue, rewired it, and got it working again.
Have since used them for multiple projects and will likely continue to do so in the future. They’re professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Would recommend Autumn Electric.

Sean is absolutely wonderful. He wired my hot tub, installed two fan/lights, and installed two dimmers. The hot tub outlet required 50ft of wire and it is all hidden and he only cut one small hole. He is so calm and down to Earth. I showed him everything I wanted down and he got right to work. He is also super clean, there was no mess. We were most pleased with the electrical work that Steve and Mike did for us in preparing our kitchen for an update. Steve was easy to get a hold of and carefully worked out the details of what was needed. We valued his expertise in recommending the type of under cabinet lighting and switch boxes we would need for a future tile backsplash. He was able to the schedule the work within a week of the call and then he and Mike worked hard and without a lunch break to get it all done in one day. They were creative in figuring out how to add a new outlet for us without having to go into our basement and add new wiring and a junction box, which saved us money. I highly recommend Steve's company. He knows what he's doing and is pleasant to do business with.

And a small repair to a section in another room. The quality of their work was excellent. They are meticulous. Couldn't be happier. I dont ever write reviews, but Dr. Kim sees all 6 of my children. He is sweet, calm, caring, patient, an excellent listener and overall a fantastic physician. Even though I have 6 kids he still goes over the expected devopmental milestones, vaccine information, etc for all of them each time I come in. He doesn't assume that I already know what to do or look for. On top of that he always calls back whenever I leave a message after hours and gives advice each time instead of making me come in for a sick visit before he answers any questions. He and his staff always fill our school forms or whatever is needed the same day I call and they do it for free. There is no extra charge for filling out forms like I've seen in other practices. With my work schedule I haven't been able to bring my children in for sick visits much and I know he is busy because he is fantastic and everyone wants to see him. So if really need to I just take my children to urgent care after work. Not a big deal. I wouldn't trade him or his office staff for anyone else.

I came to AFW to alleviate a back and hamstring issue. Within a couple visits and a plan in place to balance out my body I am feeling great. The care and friendliness of the environment here makes this more than just a chiropractic adjustment. There is an overall feeling of improving all aspects of my life. I highly recommend AFW.

Five years ago, Dr. Frey saved me from replacement disc surgery. After being diagnosed by a neurosurgeon with need for two discs to be replaced, I had a series of PT treatments and steroid shots. Following these treatments, after a short while, the numbness and weakness in my left arm would return. As a last resort, a friend of mine referred me to Dr. Frey. I was both skeptical and hopeful that chiropractic treatments would help. We started with 4-5 adjustments a week. Over the next several months, we dropped to twice a month. Today I need an adjustment every 2-3 weeks to keep the numbness away. I am hopeful that with continued exercise, stretching, weight lifting and chiropractic adjustments, I can avoid back surgery for the rest of my life.
Dr. Shih is an excellent acupuncturist. He is highly skilled, very professional, and extremely kind. He helped improve my acid reflux and anxiety, and my neck pain is completely gone as well. I truly appreciate his care and expertise. Highly recommended!

Tinuke and her team are amazing! I've been seeing her since 2023, and I came in with concerns about early signs of acne. Even though my acne wasn’t severe, I was worried my concerns might be dismissed because it was very minimal but she completely understood and validated how I was feeling. I bring my pigeon here, and the vets and techs show show much passion for their work. The waiting room and exam rooms are very clean, and the staff very knowledgeable and informative.
I honestly think my pigeon gets better medical care here than I would at any hospital!
Our dog is very vet reactive and our behaviorist recommended that we move to this practice a few years ago. What a fantastic recommendation that's been, because this place is incredible.
Everything at this practice is set up with the animals' comfort in mind. There's no waiting room, and only one pet is allowed in the lobby at a time. Treatments are done in the room with you whenever possible, and the rooms themselves are stocked with treats, toys, and soft bedding.
Vet offices usually see the worst of our older dog, but everyone at this practice has been incredibly kind, patient, and creative when treating him, and they are always happy to see us.
The doctors are wonderful of course, but I especially want to highlight the nurses and front desk staff. Every nurse we've worked with has been willing to work with my wacky distraction ideas during injections, done gymnastics to give vaccines to a thrashing dog, and been thoughtful and practical about which vitals are realistic to do. During exams, they're always ready with treats and pets to help anxious pets feel a little calmer.
And the admin team are so on the ball - they have detailed notes on your animal's specific needs, and I have never needed to remind them that we need a sedated exam or extra time for shots. They're pros at scheduling, and quick to put in prescription renewals. And they let us keep a card on file to minimize time in the office. This is probably the only front desk I _enjoy_ calling.
Fairfax Veterinary Hospital has been an amazing partner in treating our two dogs, and we're so lucky to have found them.
I cannot say enough good things about this veterinary clinic. My cat Cosmo was treated with so much patience, softness, and care. The doctor and nurse truly listened to him and worked at his pace until he felt safe and comfortable.
The entire visit was calm and stress-free. By the end, Cosmo was completely relaxed and just chilling with the doctor and nurse, which honestly says everything.

Koda has been going to The Dr Cheemas for a number of years now. I think today was his last visit. He is a great pyrenees, and like 91yrs old, 126lbs, and can't get up or down into the van. Mainstay is the vet for my 3 cats and they are always very professional and do a great job, for both big things, like cat dental surgery, and also normal check ups.
My pup is challenging at any vet office and this staff was great with her. They were very patient, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I have a local eye vet close to where I live and prefer to drive the hour to use this great team!
I had my cat Wukong spayed here, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff were very friendly, professional, and clearly care deeply about the animals they treat. After the surgery, they responded to my message quickly and answered all my questions, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for compassionate and reliable veterinary care.

We used Little River Vet for years but have been without a pet for a while. But we now have dog and cat and are so glad Little River (now Pender) is still available for the excellent care we had previously.
Very caring doctors and staff. Communicated with us every step of the way for our beloved 14-year-old cat's surgery to remove a large mass near her jaw. This is a very busy, trusted and popular practice that another vet recommended. Now I know why.
They are the best! They are so much better than the groomers in Old Town and are reasonably priced, especially for the quality of the cut! I drive from Old Town Alexandria to Fairfax to get my dog groomed. I love this place! My dog has very long hair and can't be shaved completely. Posey Pups does an amazing job! The quality cut, efficiency of wait time for the grooming, and smell of my dog is the best! I have been going to them since they opened. I am so impressed by them. They do a great job on old dogs, and puppies I've brought my dogs here for years.

Finally found a groomer that listens. They did a FANTASTIC job on my 3 pups. Due to me being sick for almost 2 months 2 of them were really matted and I was very worried that they would have to be shaved. This was during the snowcrete storm of January 2026 with the bitter cold. They spent a couple of hours teasing out the mats to be able to give them PHENOMENAL cuts without shaving them all the way down. I am ECSTATIC that I have finally found How Cute Dog Grooming. They were transformed from the pic of all 3 to what you see in the other 3 pics
My dogs have never looked better and they aren't afraid to go. They leave refreshed and relaxed which is exactly what they deserve. They smell so good and the cut is even. Thanks for excellent service and making my boys look so handsome and clean.
This studio is looking for new space in Fairfax...it will be worth the wait. In the meantime, do a class on zoom or in Arlington. This yoga studio, wherever you access it, has a wonderful vibe. Teachers are challenging and nurturing to the whole you! They give great verbal cues during class as well as lots of cool ideas to take with you throughout your day. I've had the benefit of taking classes @ Sun&Moon for 8 years. It's a community that is open and welcoming to all. See you on the mat!
A lovely studio, conveniently located with plenty of free parking. Experienced instructors who direct you through each stretch and movement with very clear instruction. It's a pleasant & peaceful environment. Always feel good at the end of the session.
This peaceful studio provides the perfect environment for focused Pilates. My instructor is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and supportive. Each session I have is a little different because she takes into account how I am feeling that day to guide the exact structure of the workout. I am building strength, improving flexibility, and gaining connection to my body. I always leave feeling better than when I arrived!

I had an amazing manual lymphatic massage today and I can honestly say it was such a great experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and cared for. The massage was relaxing, professional, and I could immediately feel lighter and less tense afterward. I’m someone who does not liked to be touched, so I was extremely nervous to get a massage, but I was dealing with a pinched nerve & was in so much pain. My best friend referred me to Cheyenne for tennis elbow issues that I’ve been dealing with for the last 6 years. I had 1 surgery, countless physical and occupational therapy and chiropractic sessions, PRP injections. Nothing worked. Most recently I worked with Dr. Alex regarding a swimming injury, and she was amazing! She offered a lot of exercises to help with both my shoulder and lower back to get me back in the water quickly. I am so happy with the care that I received at Dynamic Rehab. Niloufar (Nilu) is such a compassionate and intuitive therapist. She always knows when to adjust my program up or down according to the pain on my face. Melkam, Hamid and front desk rock as well! The office also provided me with a brace and modalities as needed which were all essential in my healing. I went from being in constant pain, barely able to walk or breathe down to daily/occasional pain that is manageable with the maintenance exercises provided. I was in this office 3x/week for 6 months and would have kept going if insurance had allowed it.
Front desk personnel were prompt in getting me signed in. I had twice a week PT, post cervical surgery, and worked with very excellent physical therapists. They were very knowledgeable and definitely helped me with recovery. The facility is very clean and well equipped I highly recommend the INOVA Fair Oaks Physical Therapy facility.

I have seen Dr. Uhm for a few years for some pain. I benefit the most from his treatment when I have a headache and/or shoulder pain. He spends lots of time with his patients, he is very professional and caring. His office is very quiet and clean. I can usually get a good nap (or at least a good rest) while getting treatment. He also offers discounts when you buy multiple treatment package. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Kim is an outstanding expert for headaches. He relieved my chronic tension headache that never left me for 16 years and which no medicine was effective. His acupuncture on this was effective from the first session and the follow-up sessions kept relieving my heavy head, which sometimes disturbed even my thinking abilities. Now I do not feel heavy forehead or headache any more. I am grateful that I have found him.
Dr Chou is by far the best acupuncturist I have ever seen. He has helped reduce my ongoing sinus headaches and ear infections. He is patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.

I can't speak on their behind the wheel programs, however their drivers improvement clinic was easy to do online (if you have that option) and their customer service is top notch. one of the best receptionist i've ever spoken to for any organization. she answers quickly, speaks clearly, responds to questions with accurate information, and has a positive attitude the entire time.
