“I have not had a lot of experience with vets taking care of my tropical birds. When I did have a serious problem with my birds Dr. Bignall was always availabe and highly concerned for there health. I don't know what I would do with out such a wonderful veterinarian. One life couldn't be saved the other probably would of died without his help. God bless him and you couldn't get a more caring and concerned Dr. for your precious little creature.“

“Update: The vet returned my call on Tuesday and took care of everything. I am satisfied now.The vet is very hard to get a hold of after seeing her for the first time when she informed us our indoor cat has fleas. The vet suggested we put her on Next guard Combo and informed us that she might need something to help with itchy spots and told us to call if she is still scratching a lot after the application.Called on a Thursday left a message. Called on the following Friday and spoke with someone who said they would call the vet to ask about it. Meanwhile, my cat is in discomfort. It is odd that there is only one vet at this practice who is not available at all on Thursdays and is not onsite on a Friday. Maybe I will hear from them on Monday. if not, I might need to find a different vet.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Fairfax Veterinary Hospital. This past Monday, after finding out that my dog has hepatitis and that she would have to be on a month long regimen of antibiotics, Zoe has called at least once a day to make sure Simone was doing ok. I know that we are not the only patients of the practice, but they sure do make you feel like you are their most important client. It’s evident that they care about your fur babies as much as you do, which means everything, especially when you’re feeling so helpless and want to do everything in your power to make sure they get better.Thank you to Dr. Randivand, Zoe and the rest of the staff for making this scary journey a little more bearable. You have no idea how much you’re appreciated.“

“My family take 2 of there dogs twice a week. The dogs love going each week and sometimes we do overnight boarding and they do an excellent job of taking care of them. I take them over twice a week and they come out to the car and get the dogs. Anytime we have had an interaction with the employees it has been very positiveThank you staff at Montrose for taking such great care of our fur babies“

“The best experience at a vet ever! We were able to book an appointment the same day, Joshua at the front desk was warm and welcoming. The doctor was wonderful, kind, attentive, and not an alarmist, as we have found most vets to be in this area! Our dog was very comfortable there and honestly they are the best judge. And, the icing on top of the cake was their reasonable and very fair rates, another anomaly in this area. We are changing vets!!! I’d recommend fairfax ridge animal hospital without a doubt to anyone looking for quality and loving care for their pet.“

“went to the vet for some preventative care for my 1yr old cat. she is a very anxious and easily scared cat, but Dr. Bolton and the assistants were very sweet and accommodating, letting her hide in a towel during vaccines. the staff had excellent recommendations for cats' health. i will be returning when i need to! there is a sign on the front door saying please wear a mask! i wore one but not sure if it's still mandatory. i would to keep everyone safe!“

“Bottom Line: Highly recommend this practice, worth the wait and the money. Will return here if we ever have another eye problem.Pros:- Well regarded professional surgeon provided a number of options with a thorough exam.-Surgery went well with clear pre/post instructions. (See pic of happy pup a few hours post-op at home)-Set and met expectations of cost, communication, & appointments.-Great vet tech (Sean? Sorry, can't remember the name) and Amanda in the front was awesome.-Clean, inviting, and comfortable waiting area (they encouraged my dog to curl up in one of the comfortable chairs to ease his anxiety).Cons:-Wait time for appointment (likely unavoidable given the supply vs demand).-Request appointment button on website didn't yield a response - just call.We came here for a second opinion after our primary vet kept saying we shouldn't be concerned with what she called cataract. Turned out our suspicions were correct and our 10 year-old Sheltie had been suffering from chronic glaucoma for some time and needed to have his eye removed. We called all three of the veterinary ophthalmologists in the area and Vet Vision's prices were in-line with or less than others for the initial exam. As there are only a few in the area, there was a wait for the initial appointment, but they were able to squeeze our pup in for surgery within a week. The staff overall was amazing. Our dog has PTSD and the vet tech was patient and handled the exam with care and professionalism. One of the ladies at the front desk, I believe her name is Amanda, put us at ease, was professional, and provided excellent customer service and communication. Dr. Corcoran didn't pressure us at all, was clear about the pricing, and worked with us to help keep the expenses down as much as possible. One of the rescues we follow closely uses Vet Vision for their eye needs and highly recommends her as do we now. All of the patients and their pawrents who were coming in seemed like family to the staff and all seemed very happy.Looking through other reviews, I'm not sure where some of them are coming from. Was it cheap? No. Was it in line with the prices in the area? Yes. They were up-front about costs with no surprises at check-out. Dr. Corcoran was clear about the risks, benefits, and alternatives to the surgery and in no way pressured us to choose any of the options she presented - she actually encouraged us to take our time and think about it (we didn't need to as we knew what we wanted). At no point did she toot her own horn or tout her accolades/education, she was professional and humble. There is one woman at the front who isn't as personable as everyone else, but wasn't unprofessional or rude. All of our expectations were met or exceeded and we will gladly come back as needed in the future.“

“This place have earned my trust. Everyone from the front desk, to the doctors and even the managers are very kind and resourceful when treating my pet. I have been bringing my pet here for 8 consecutive years and I’m so thankful for all their service. Reasonable priced but mostly experienced vets and assistants that will help your pet in any need of their medical services. Thank you Town & Country for the excellent job you do with our lovely pets!“
