Alison and her team (Karla) did an amazing job at my Larz Anderson House wedding in Dupont this summer. The Anderson House is quite particular and has tight guidelines for events. Karla did a great job ensuring all the house rules were followed, while we still had a fun time and danced the night away, while staying (mostly) on timeline! She paid very close attention to my grandparents (checking in on them, carrying chairs to the dance floor for them), which meant a lot to me. Even though we paid for day-of only, they met with us several times before the wedding over the phone and did a walk through. The Larz is an upscale wedding venue in DC and Alison helped us stay on a budget. The pricing they offered was the best we could find and they did a wonderful job! We hired Metro Kitchen and Bath (9281 Old Keene Mill Road, Burke VA) for a partial remodel of our bathroom which included installation of new Onyx Collection Shower walls and base, glass shower doors, replacement of our double sink vanity, installation of new Moen sink and shower plumbing fixtures, new toilet and repainting of the entire bathroom area. We could not be happier with the results.

Decided I wanted to get my nails done so I called Nail Palace to schedule an appointment. I didn’t have any day in mind just whenever they were able to schedule me. They had openings same day so I made my appt for the evening. When I arrived everyone was friendly. I decided I wanted to have a design done and showed an inspo pic. Van was so friendly and seemed to have fun doing my nails, creating the design. I think she did a fantastic job. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend getting your nails done here!

My partner and I had a fantastic experience working with Rod and Bram at Capital Carpet Gallery. They were extremely helpful, friendly, and easy to work with from the start. We spent a lot of time and multiple visits talking through options and budget, and they were very patient in helping us land on the right carpet for our house without any pressure. Not to mention they blew home depot's cost estimate out of the water.

Dr Alt is the best. The other vets at this hospital are good as well but I always will wait for Dr Alt to be available as long as it is not an emergency.
My 18 year old doxie mix passed away in his sleep on a Saturday night and I reached out to Village Vet Clinic because thankfully they were open on Sunday. They were super caring and attentive and the cremation was completed in less than a week. His remains were packaged very nicely in a small wooden urn with a plaque with his name and the staff was so kind when I picked them up today.
I really appreciate the respect and kindness I received at the facility in my time of grieving.
