Great place in New Orleans if you are looking for some mental relaxation and physical relief. Very professional and friendly staff. Didn't have to wait to be taken care of, a friendly lady immediately greeted me and set me up with Kim who would be handling my session. Kim was the greatest, she really worked some magic on me. I'm only visiting New Orleans for the week but I will still try to get at least one more trip back here. Oh yeah and the prices are very reasonable.

When you first walk in, you notice the calm atmosphere. No loud conversations, only the TV playing. Very clean. Shields between dryer chairs. No strong odors. My stylist, Tawana, was excellent. She thoroughly washed and conditioned my hair. And the comb-out afterwards was painless. She was very quick and efficient. I didn't feel rushed. It was a very pleasant experience. I will be back again.

This is one of my favorite stores in New Orleans! The locally made outfits, wigs, and accessories are truly one-of-a-kind. They even have an area where you can buy DIY supplies to make your own costumes! The salon is great, as well. It is the only place in town where I feel confident getting short/pixie haircut.
I shop here all the time, but my favorite purchase is the wig I had custom made for my wedding. I provided the theme (psychadelic swamp) and color scheme and Dara worked her magic. I was thrilled with the final product! Such a beautiful, whimsical gem!

Best haircut I’ve ever had in my life. Newer to New Orleans and I’ve gone through so many barbers/salons in Philadelphia that couldn’t meet Pat’s level of quality. Great cuts and extremely flexible. He will do anything he can to squeeze you in and add any input to your cut. On top of that, he’s genuinely a great funny guy to be around that has so many incredible stories about New Orleans and its history. I will never change where I get my haircut and Pat has become a great friend. Highly recommend to anyone.

never in my life have i written a damn google review but tiffany is my diva!!! after a bad overpriced experience at another salon, she fixed my nails, tended to my cuticles, and did my favorite set i’ve ever had all for $30 less than the other place :) everybody was so kind, the music was great, and the drink menu is definitely worth looking at for a day of pampering!

My friend and I came here to get our nails done for graduation and had a great experience. We both got acrylic sets and pedicures and I added chrome to my nails which looked great. The staff was very attentive, offered us drinks, and did an amazing job with both of our nails. They are perfectionists and even restarted my nails after they finished my first hand because they were not satisfied with how they looked even though I still thought they looked great, so I really appreciated that. I would definitely come again!

This was my first dipping powder nail appointment at MLV Nail Salon. Traci did a great job with my nails. Living between Fort Lauderdale, Florida and New Orleans it was important to find a nail salon in NOLA that I can trust to deliver great service, skilled nail techs, clean environment & properly sterilized tools when i am in NOLA. MLV salon delivered on all of that plus the staff are friendly and very welcoming. I recommend MLV salon.

Robyn is truly one of a kind—her talent, energy, and presence made our wedding morning unforgettable in the best way. She did makeup for me, five others (with a wide range of complexions, skin types, and ages), and made every single one of us feel confident and beautiful. She even styled our flower girl’s hair, and it held up perfectly all day in the New Orleans humidity! Our flower girl was obsessed with the hair style all day.
Beyond her incredible skill, Robyn has the most genuinely kind and calming presence. You can feel the good vibes from her the moment she walks in. She kept the entire getting-ready process calm, fun, and stress-free while also making us look and feel gorgeous. Our hair and makeup lasted from 9 AM until well after 2 AM without a single touch-up needed.

I’ve been coming here for years now to get my Brazilian wax from my girl Mercedes. She is always very professional and makes her clients feel comfortable during their appointments. The $50 wax they offer is not only affordable but also top tier. Highly recommend visiting if you are in search of a waxing service in New Orleans.
A can't praise Savoir Faire high enough. This is a small cozy neighborhood place, so much nicer to feel part of the family as soon as you walk in. I chose it with the hope of this and was not disappointed. My Micropeel facial with Hilary was just what I needed after a long busy summer in the heat. My eyebrows were tidied and tinted. I was cleansed and restored and silver screen ready. I was glowing and still am a week later. A massage with Cezanne followed. She really worked on my aching hip and gave it a good seeing to. She really put the T in therapeutic. I bounced out of the salon with a spring in my step ready to hike to Columns for cocktails. We come to NOLA a couple of times a year and this will be my treat to myself (with full endorsement from hubby) every time.

My wife and I were looking for a refuge from New York City when we came across some tickets leaving first thing in the morning. Our check in was in the afternoon and so I needed to find a place to relax early Christmas Day and the Spa at the Roosevelt New Orleans was just the thing. I spoke to the very knowledgable and fabulous Caroline a few times she answered my barge of questions about the city, the facilities which helped me rule out the 4 seasons & Ritz spas. Upon arrival Caroline, by this time an old friend, greeted us warmly with red velvet cookies, champagne and fresh squeezed orange juice as we lounged in our robes. Patti & Rhonda, who we call the miracle-worker-healing-hand-magician-Goddesses, made us question whether we left the planet or were having Christmas Day couple's massages. We still don't know, but what's completely clear is that the experience was BETTER THAN MAGIC. To top it all off, Jill gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne on the way out, welcoming us into the Crescent City in the way no other city could. Again, we live and love New York, have traveled the world, and that said we can now definitively say that The Roosevelt New Orleans is the gold standard.

I used Sarah for a photoshoot & she did a phenomenal job! Very detail oriented & listened to my skin concerns. I did my photos at 11am & didn’t get home till almost 10pm. I ended up having a chaotic day with errands & maneuvering 4 kids. Also sitting out on the porch for hours later. I was surprised to go home at the end of the day with everything still in tact! It looked just like it did hours ago when she first applied it! I’ll definitely be using her again for my next event!

Chris took my appointment for the next day from my call. Worked with my schedule which was great and helpful. He helped me figure out a coverup and I love how it came out. I went on a Saturday and found parking right in front of the shop. The shop had great stuff to look at while I made conversation with Chris and that was all a great distraction. The music playing was great as well. Definitely going back for other work! I was comfortable with the pricing and his work is definitely comparable to his pricing. My line work is great and I healed nicely with no line blowouts.

I just had the most AMAZING experience at Artist Lodge getting a tattoo done by Amber. She was professional, nice, funny, and is so very talented. She put so much care into my personalized piece and designed a tattoo that felt very true to who I am and what I wanted. I had an aeroseal treatment done to my home yesterday. I read that it would enhance my AC performance and could reduce my Entergy bill by half, so I decided to give it a try! I am so pleased and cannot wait to see the difference on my electric bill. The report they gave me shows proof that my system is working way more efficiently. My AC is clicking on less, and we woke up this morning with it noticeably colder. My son’s room was always the hottest in the house, and it is way cooler. They found issues in the duct work we had no idea we had- a hole in one spot and a smashed duct in another. The workers were very polite, and I felt safe being alone in the house with them. I first called and spoke with Nicole. She was extremely helpful and listened with care as I was inquiring about a rug repair. Today I brought my rug in and was so grateful to Frank and Mike for getting it out of my car, it weighs as much as I do and they were very nice and smiling as they brought it in to be assessed. The rug is about 100 years old and has been a part of our family which includes grandkids and dogs. Frank and Maxine talked about each of the problem areas and explained how the rug can be repaired. They provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed choice. But she spent 8 hours there. 1600 sq feet. And gave me suggestions on keeping the bathroom fixtures and shower door clean and well kept.

This review is long over due. Devin helped us renovate our Victorian home uptown. He finished on time during Covid constraints which was a miracle. He was able to match and patch the woods floors in our house in damaged areas. He fixed a structural wall, moved transoms to open kitchen / laundry seamlessly, and converted out third floor into usable space. He added a closet and it looks like it was part of the original floor plan. It has been five years now since his work and I can say it has held up. It was a smooth process from start to finish.

I needed a double-wall oven installed that included a cabinet modification so that the oven would fit in our current kitchen cabinet. I am very sad to announce that my brother Keith Victor Kron, founder and long time CEO of Natures Greenhouse, has passed away He was apparently home when his house was engulfed in flames. We are awaiting DNA confirmation but the family has every expectation that this will only confirm what we already know as we have not heard from him since the night before the fire and he has not contacted anyone about his pets or extensive garden. Several of us had been in close contact and he was in good spirit. I personally was working together with him on a couple of projects as were several others. As you may know Keith had a very large number of plants that were a part of his business. If you would like one as a remembrance of him please let us know as we are making arrangements to donate the bulk of them to a 9th Ward non-profit. We will accept donations if you are so moved. 2 of his dogs survived and if you know them and want to house them that would be great as at this time we are unable to keep them ourselves. While Keith did not use Facebook I created this page as a memorial page so people can write about him or contact me for information regarding a memorial service.

David gave me an estimate the day I called and arrived the next day to cut away broken limbs from my huge river birch. Not only did he remove the broken limbs, but he trimmed back other limbs that were going to be a problem soon. He also cleaned up the limbs that had fallen in my neighbors yard. He took away all debris. He and his helper left both yards in beautiful condition. I’ll definitely call him when it’s time to take the tree down. Thank you David!

So it had been yearrrrrs since I had been to a dentist, and when I reached out to them, Del was so sweet and not judgmental at all. The whole office is great at explaining what they are doing, why they are doing it, even down to confirming the procedures fit my budget. I loved them so much for dental care, I even met with the orthodontist and got clear liners to help with my long term issues. That process has been super easy, and has worked wonders. The whole staff is kind, welcoming, and wonderful. 10/10 highly recommend.

FIVE STARS! I Woke Up One Morning And Randomly Was Unable to Stand or Walk Without Being in Excruciating Pain. I Seriously Considered the ER, But Based on Google Reviews Decided to Give Dr. Tony a Try. He Was Able to See Me Same Day And Instantly Resolved My Issue. Somehow I Rotated My Hip Out Of Place, But After A Few Quick Adjustments, Dr.Tony Was Able to Relieve My Pain And Restore MMe Back to My Old Self. I Can't Thank Him And His Staff Enough For Helping Me When I Was in Desperate Need.

Wonderful service I had a bad fall in 2006, which left me with back spasms when sitting too long. Every year it would come back, 2016 I had enough my husband recommended I see a chiropractor she was wonderful. I only saw her for a few sessions and the back spams has not been back since.

I've seen Dr. Jackson at Audubon Dermatology for 10 years now. She paid attention to an area where another doctor wouldn't and found cancer. She paid attention to a spot I was concerned about and it turned out to be pre-melanoma. Here's my point, she sees you and hears you as a patient. I've referred several friends and family members to her and they've all been satisfied.

Cash is a small miniature schnauzer. He can be nervous when he goes to the vet. This time he was very relaxed, even when he was given his medication/ shots. The staff are very friendly, attentive and welcoming. The Veterinarian was very gentle and informative. I highly recommend the practice.
We moved to New Orleans and were struggling to find a vet we liked, but we love love love the team at Lakeview.
We have two French Bulldogs which always comes with extra complications/vet bills and Dr. Goldman and Dr. Guichard are both incredibly helpful with brachycephalic dog breed specific issues. They really go the extra mile to make sure your pet is taken care of and they are also aware of avoiding extra costs.
We have done our routine care with them as well as two surgeries, can’t recommend them enough.

I'm the person that always wants to stick with one doctor (for myself as well). However, at CCVH, that is not the case. I feel confident and comfortable with each doctor. They all take the time to get to know the patient and their human and it is evident that they care. I never feel rushed and they always take the time to answer any and all questions. I’ve had the absolute privilege of my dogs being under the care of Dr. Nicole Larroque at DeSoto Park Veterinary Clinic, and I can say with full confidence that she is an exceptional veterinarian. She’s cared for all three of my French Bulldogs — Otie, Clovis, and now Dozier — each with unmatched compassion and professionalism.
Dr. Nicole only saw Otie a few times before he passed suddenly from heart failure at the age of 16. Even in those brief visits, her gentle and attentive care brought me peace during a heartbreaking time.
My second, Clovis, was under her care for several years. Every single time I opened the car door at the clinic, he would pull me straight to the entrance — tail wagging, if he had one, excited to see the staff. That kind of reaction speaks volumes about the warmth and kindness he experienced there. When Clovis was later diagnosed with lung cancer at age 16, Dr. Nicole guided me through that painful chapter with such grace and empathy. Looking back, I can honestly say I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else to walk me through the journey of letting him go.
Now, I’ve begun a new chapter with my rescue pup, Dozier, who’s just a year old. He’s brought a new set of challenges, both medical and behavioral, that I’ve never faced before with any of my dogs. But once again, history repeats itself — I feel more than confident having Dr. Nicole by our side. With her and the incredible staff supporting us, I know that whatever comes up, we’re in the very best hands.
There are many great veterinarians in New Orleans — but Dr. Nicole isn’t one of them. She’s something more. She walked beside us through joy, illness, and even heartbreak. My partner and I recently moved from Los Angeles to Nola and needed to establish care for our senior cat, Oliver. I am so grateful we found the Cat Practice in Nola. Dr. Dodson and her team were so kind and patient! As an anxious cat parent with high expectations for his care, the Cat Practice really put my mind at ease. I can’t say enough thanks to Dr. Dodson and my vet tech, Ms. Tabitha, for being so kind and working so well with Oliver. Having a clinic dedicated to just cats truly makes a huge difference. The whole team (including the amazing front staff) were very thorough and communicative. The attention to detail and kindness ensures me that I’ve found the perfect clinic for him!

We have been coming to Carrollton vet with our dog since our old vet(s) retired, after we searched for years for another amazing private vet practice. Dr Algero is caring and knowledgeable. He is patient in explaining what he believes might be going on, the tests (if any) necessary, next steps, any meds he thinks might help, side effects, etc, and always a clear explanation of why and our options. Vets like Dr Algero are the best - they only care about what's best for your pet and work with you all the way. They are walk-in only, but they are clear about that and they let you know if there's a long wait (emergency ahead of you) or other factors. Their rates are very reasonable imo. I know they treat her well and compassionately when she goes to the back with them, which is important to us. His assistants (Nester & Jerry) are involved, always gentle and greet Belle so she's never balked at going back or being handled by them. They are prompt answering their phones, return calls when they say they will and Pam at the front desk always gets me whatever documentation I need when I ask.

Dr. DeCosta was able to diagnose the root cause of my Shih-Tzu’s eye condition by conducting a thorough examination. He took his time taking detailed notes and explained the prognosis with realistic expectations. I was anxious about the cost of service only to be surprised at check-out with a reasonable bill. The location is convenient and peaceful, which can be a godsend when dealing with a sick pet. Will bE my home base for Choco’s eye health.
UPDATE: Choco's eyes continue to heal under Dr. DeCosta's care. No invasive treatment was needed; but if it had been - I'd feel comfortable trusting Dr. DeCosta with care. Professional and focused vet. His priority is the animal's comfort, and that is priceless.

First time customer and we will definitely be back! My Sim is a 7 year old special needs Shih Tzu. He's a rescue who has been groomed under sedation since he was rescued and he's also blind. After years of sedated grooms that were starting to affect him we reached out to see if they were willing to try grooming him without sedation (he was sedated due to his reactions when they groomed certain areas). They said they would give it try and they were successful! They have tricks to deal with little quirks and the treats I brought with him didn't hurt the situation. I wouldn't hesitate to bring a special needs or older animal to them for grooming as they took great care in grooming my dog that was previously classified as being too reactive to be groomed while awake. He was very happy when I picked him up and even had a cute little bandana on.

I bring my 4 schnauzers (mini, toy x 2, and giant) here to get groomed. They do an incredible job. When we go out for walks people always stop and ask where we get them groomed and I’m always excited to share just how impressed my family is with Zues’!!!!
They always do a great job with my pups groom. I’ve had different groomers work on him and all have been great. It’s really hard to find a good groomer. Highly recommend!

literally the best massage i've ever had. i've gotten a massage at least bi weekly or monthly for years & linda is the best i've ever had. she got out so many knots out that i didn't even know i had. the location is perfect: right on magazine & the space was beautiful with natural light & super clean. it felt luxurious for the price. couldn't recommend it more!

We used Spa Atlantis in New Orleans for my daughter's wedding. They did my daughter's hair, the maid of honor's hair and makeup, and my hair and makeup. The location was convenient to our hotel, and they were able to accommodate multiple people at the same time, which was helpful on a busy wedding day. My daughter's hair turned out as she wanted (a simple, smooth bun) which was the highlight of the experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The makeup was decent and looked fine in photos, but it was not as natural as I would have liked. Unfortunately, there were some challenges. I waited more than 30 minutes past my appointment time on a day when timing was critical. While they did offer a 10% discount for the delay, the lost time was far more stressful than the discount was helpful. The hair updos were fairly average, and the services overall took longer than expected. My hair did not stay in place throughout the evening, which was disappointing, and I would likely style it myself if given the choice again. Overall, Spa Atlantis was convenient and pleasant, but future bridal parties should plan for extra time and manage expectations regarding styling and makeup.

I had the Ashiatsu Deepfeet Massage with Paul, and it was honestly one of the best parts of our trip to New Orleans! The room was perfect! The smell, the lighting, and the music set the mood beautifully. Since it was my first time experiencing the Ashiatsu Deepfeet massage, I really appreciated that Paul gave me an overview beforehand. His technique was incredible, and even now, back at work, I'm still feeling the effects of his amazing massage. Thank you, Paul! You're officially on my list of recommendations for anyone visiting New Orleans.

Raymond Harris is a wonderful, professional masseuse. He came to my house and helped me with a sports injury. He charged $120 an hour which was about standard for massages in Nola at the time. Great experience, 10/10, would recommend.

I got the 60 minute deep tissue and a banana turmeric facial and Rebecca got my skin TOGETHER!! She also gave me great tips to keep my skin glowing. Betsy is just the best! I tore my an Achilles Playing basketball and wasn’t satisfied with my recovery after a couple years. A trainer friend of mine recommended her for a massage and the first session was amazing.
Not only was she attentive to my injuries (I have a lot of musculoskeletal issues from sports) but she was reassuring and calming through the process, making me feel confident that I would get better. Helping me understand why certain areas were tight and certain movements were painful, and giving me suggestions on how to improve on my own.
She used some different massage techniques as well as some cupping and infrared therapy on my problem areas (Achilles, shoulder, hip) and not only were my muscles relaxed but my range of motion was significantly improved and my pain and swelling went down considerably.
I’m setting up regular sessions because in the last 2 months, I’ve made more progress in my recovery than I've made in the years since my injury.

RT & The Stride Shop are my running family. I made an appointment a year ago, on the recommendation of a friend. I had been a runner at different points of my life but was always slow and often plagued by shin splints. The summer I made my first appointment with the Stride Shop, I was 2 months out from a double mastectomy, 4 months from my 40th birthday, and determined to run my first full marathon in 5 months. Kevin, RT, and The Stride Shop not only got me across that marathon finish line injury free, but they turned me into a permanent, full-time, lifelong "real" runner, and in less than a year, I have shaved >4 minutes off my 1-mile time (and no shin splints!). You don't have to be an elite runner to make an appointment with The Stride Shop, but they just might turn you into one.
I have been using Crane Rehab (St. Charles Ave.) for many years for various mobility issues and surgical rehabilitation. My overall experience with the physical therapist -TREY-was incredibly positive. He listened to my concerns and adjusted treatments accordingly. He really cared about my situations. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel at ease. The bright, clean and organized environment in the Rehab center was very encouraging and made the therapy experience a positive one. Seeing the historic St. Charles Streetcar pass by out the windows actually brightened my mood. I wholeheartedly recommend this therapist and facility to anyone seeking effective rehabilitation. I wish there was AQUATIC therapy at the St Charles location but it is available only at the RIVER Road facility.
I've had worsening chronic pain for 5 years now with no proper diagnosis or medical aid, but Dr. Joe had a spot-on diagnosis for me within 15min of seeing him for the first time! Now I can finally start getting the medical help I've so desperately been searching for these last 5 years, and I'm able to receive it next door to him in the same building! Can't recommend these people enough, I've never been listened to like this and the results are speaking for themselves.

Jimi is professional, compassionate, and understanding. If you feel like something is not working for you, communicate with him and he will adjust the acupuncture style accordingly. I originally came in for scapular dyskinesia and was receiving targeted treatments for my upper back. After a couple sessions, I felt worse and feared acupuncture wasn’t for me. Jimi suggested I try a whole body chi approach and it worked wonders. I received treatments every 4-6 weeks. Unfortunately I moved out of the city, otherwise I would still be scheduling sessions. Highly recommend!
