Cannot recommend highly enough. Very hospitable and friendly. Shave easily best I’ve ever had (and that includes many many major cities). Prices also surprisingly low. Gem of a place. A must experience.

Spent a few days in New Orleans and my visit to Aidan Gill For Men was the absolute highlight. The shop is a genuine museum of Barbershop history. There is also a retail shop full of books, socks, bow ties, personal care products and more. I made a retail purchase and left. I was at bar a couple blocks down and just had to go back. I was fresh off a haircut, but did need a beard trim. Aidan himself did it. The beard trim was 10/10 and I expected it to be. What I didn't expect was a free glass of whiskey and such wonderful conversation. Mr. Gill is a classic, true gentleman who has created something genuinely unique. Good lord, it’s a good thing this amazing men’s shop isn’t near me in CT. I’d spend a fortune. Such great stuff, all accompanied by great service and advice. I got a new razor and shaving cream and had to stop myself from getting lots more.
