Mercy and Favor ate down on my knottless 350 braids. They have such lovely spurts an swehas a wonderful time chatting. I booked online Friday for a 6am Monday appointment with ease. I came washed and blow-dried. They curled my ends, moussed the braids and OILED MY SCALP!! Hands down the best braiding experience I've had in ong time. I came from Arizona and left. We had an emergency request for help when our daughter’s hair matted up beyond what we could work through ourselves. Ms. House was so patient, positive and uplifting during a very challenging service to detangle our daughter’s hair. She worked us into her schedule the very same day we reached out. I can’t thank her enough for saving our little one’s hair from having to cut. The shop location is convenient, and VERY clean. The chairs are so comfortable and nostalgic. Her service was kind, caring and felt like being with family. We will be back.

I'm about as low-maintenance as it gets, usually opting to not style my hair as I'm just going to "throw it up" anyway! I opted to go with a more natural version of extensions, not extending length, just fullness, and my friends and family have complimented me on how great it looks, but can't even tell it's extensions!! Kevin did an outstanding job, and I would recommend him to anyone. He went way above and beyond what I hired him for. I accidentally bought the wrong shower surround, and he even used his own vehicle to help me go pick up the correct one. Even though I only called him for the plumbing, he stayed and helped install the shower surround too.

We recently had our sump pump re-routed. Brecke did a fantastic job. Services were quick, thorough, and both the plumbing and excavation teams were extremely professional. They were also very kind and good natured throughout the work being done. It was difficult for us to get contractors to get back with us to start the job. We have been using Miller Plumbing for 10 years. Chad and Joe are solid guys. Chad offers a wealth of information, does a satisfactory job every time, and we never have any issues with any of his work. He's installed a water heater, water line to the fridge, installed a disposal, fixed incorrect plumbing, unclogged bathtubs and toilets, installed new shower fixtures, and toilet parts. The list goes on.....they are the only contractors we fully trust in Cedar Rapids. We wish they did everything else besides plumbing.

Our plumber, Danny, overcame the few unique challenges that came with our installation. Edit: Oct 8, 2025 We had Valenta over today. The kitchen sink faucet's handle broke off in my wife's hand. We stopped off at Valenta on our way to the mall, picked out a new Kohler faucet. They found time to install it in the same day. Our plumber, Jeff, was fast, courteous, and clean. We have never been disappointed with Valenta.
We had a problem with our drain and septic system that we couldn’t get to fix but our septic man told him about us and he called right away and was here that afternoon. This doesn’t have anything to do with any electric service. Your guys worker named Hunter stopped and helped me out of a pickle I got into. I was halfway stuck in a ditch and he stopped to see if he could Do anything I told him I wasn’t sure but he said he lived just up the road and would be able to help me get out of the ditch. On such a hot day he didn’t actually have to do anything, but I’m very thankful that he was able to get me out and get me safely back on the road and make sure I was OK. Seriously this guy needs a raise. He really did not have to help me at all. Thanks so much, Hunter. I hope you get new boots!!!!

What I appreciated most about my experience with Iltens was that Adam listened to what I wanted, what I disliked about my current HVAC system, and my anticipated budget. Then he gave me different options I could mix and match to address those items. He even managed to make a fix on my AC while he was there to get me through a few more days of the heat wave, which was incredibly kind. Communication was phenomenal throughout, installation went smoothly, Brian gave me a great tutorial on the thermostat and app, and they made sure I was happy before they left. Really excellent experience overall.

Called american dream carpet clean to come check out my carpets. I was told the carpets were cleaned before I moved in. I started losing so much sleep, id wake up congested and coughing and sneezing, and the days I would come home from work, and left my windows closed, It would smell like someone walked their dogs in my apartment. Knowing that property management was lying to me, I found bill on Google. He came by and said he could do my carpets right then and there, because even he was taken away by the foul stench coming up from The carpets. He used a black light and some kind of moisture probe and was able to determine and visually show me where the problem was. He set up in about 3 minutes and had my entire apartment done in just under an hour. He advised me that he may not be able to get some of the stains out due to it being an old carpet. But not only did he get the stains out 3 days later I can come home to a fully closed up apartment with no horrible stench l. American dream carpet clean is a step above the rest, I will never call on anyone else, after I see what these guys do. 10 stars highly recommend you atleast give them a chance to come look and give a quote. You won't be disappointed.

We decided to drive to Cedar Rapids for flooring. We got lost, car overheated, but we finally got there! And so happy we did. Renatta was pleasant, knew the product and process from start to finish. We are looking forward to our new flooring!

Andrew did a wonderful job and was very professional. Toilets work great! I understand the reason for the shims to make it level on one of the new toilets. Disappointed on the finished look though. I’d like to inquire if there is a flexible “apron” to put around the base to cover this up and allow easier cleaning.
John and his team turned our attached 1-car garage into an attached 2-car garage. We are very happy with the finished garage, and very much appreciate his efficiency and communication. We contacted Orkin to get rid of several bird nests and to build enclosures to keep them out. Orkin Inspector Logan found other issues that needed to be corrected.
We agreed to the work and on the agreed date Tyler and his crew showed up. While one crew proceeded to remove infested insulation an other crew installed guards on our rain gutters.
The next day the crews installed new insulation while others finished installing the gutter guards.
This was followed up by Ron taking measurements for the bird deterrent enclosures.
Ron designed and manufactured these at a shop, returned to install them.
They fit the architect of the house perfectly! Thanks Ron!’ And crew.
Adriann and his team came out and blew our expectations away! We wanted a 6ft privacy fence 2 gated entrance. We were told my other it’s was going to take 6 months. Well it’s already been a year & a half so we wanted it done. So we contracted Adrianne and he’s like I can have it done for you by this weekend. This was on a Tuesday. Come Thursday we were completely done & had a fence again!!! SO THANKFUL!!! ?????? video in the comments of the fence!
Smith Landscape & Design Co. came out on a Saturday for a project we hired them for to help refresh a flower bed at my son’s elementary school. I want to thank Liz and Danny for the great job they did along my property line. While they were working for my neighbor, they also did a fabulous job getting rid of weeds that could envelop defenseless humans that had originated on my side. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist, but I had no other choice today. I reached out to an old friend Haley who I know has worked in the dental industry for awhile now. I messaged her at about 11pm Sunday (sorry i know that’s late) she replied to me right away when i woke up Monday, was able to get me in Monday but I choose to do Tuesday for my work schedule. Haley was just really quick, friendly, and just amazing to set things up with. Moving on I get to the office, the lady who greeted me and signed me in was extremely nice and helpful, the lady who did the X-Ray’s and everything else until the Doctor came was extremely nice and pleasant talking to. Moving on to the final person, the wonderful Denist… Morgan Dralle!!! I have known her Husband my entire life, and have known her throughout highschool. I was a little nervous seeing a dentist younger than me… BUT she did an AMAZING job, I felt comfortable the entire time, she was very intelligent, informative, and you can tell she cares about the people around her and of course the patients . All around what an amazing experience, can’t wait to recommend this place to family and friends and continue to come back. Thanks ladies!!!!
Dr Paula is simply the best. She has extracted teeth for both of my boys and turned what could have been a painful and scary experience into such a positive one. Sayde has helped me tremendously with sciatica. I was taken by ambulance to the emergency room unable to walk. They wanted to put me in a care facility. Morphine did not help! I made it home with other medication and was afraid to go back to yoga. I had a private class with her and she showed me how important form was to control my pain. She is very knowledgeable about how the body works and can pinpoint problems by just watching you sit or move. I am now back to my regular yoga classes and I cannot explain how grateful I am for her care and knowledge.
The instructor remembers you instantly and makes you feel so welcome and relaxed. All the other yogis were also very kind and made it easy to look forward to seeing them all every week. PLUS I learned great care for myself, especially the importance of focused breathing!
