A lot of times, I get hairstylists who just chop off my hair in one swoop, way more than I wanted; but not Gwen! She made sure to cut a little off and ask if I wanted it shorter or to stay, and continued to consult with me throughout the appointment. I really appreciated how caring she was. My hair also looks so much better, and I can't wait to show it off on my girls trip this weekend!

I love the barbers there my son goes every other week the barbers there are friendly and professional however the young lady that does starter locs is extremely rude and unprofessional my son sat at the shop for 45 minutes waiting for his appointment and after calling the young lady to find out if she was running late she was extremely rude hung up on me and then preceeded to let me she misunderstood but was not available I do not recommend her at all
The young lady in the second chair who cut my head bald with a hot towel and trimmed my beard with hot towel as well was professional and meticulous definitely recommend her and the staff truly a great experience.

I've struggled to find a good fit for the nails I was looking for, wanted a natural look (not too thick), love coming here. I'm about as low-maintenance as it gets, usually opting to not style my hair as I'm just going to "throw it up" anyway! I opted to go with a more natural version of extensions, not extending length, just fullness, and my friends and family have complimented me on how great it looks, but can't even tell it's extensions!! I've done five cryofacial treatments and five core cryo treatments with Rise, and I can't recommend them highly enough! Firstly, the staff are so welcoming and supportive and make you feel very comfortable. Secondly, I've seen remarkable improvements in both reducing my double chin and my belly fat. Additionally, it has given me unexpected health benefits. I have a genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and the connective tissues in my body don't regenerate correctly. I had a lot of pain in my jaw for over a year that I had been working with a physical therapist and seeing some modest improvement. When I did the cryofacials, the improved blood flow and collagen production it stimulates helped immensely with alleviating my pain- now I only have a little pain toward the end of the day, when I used to have agonizing pain day and night which would affect my sleep. My sleep has improved because of it. I've also noticed that the core cryotherapy breaking down my cortisol has improved my nighttime acid reflux and I feel like I can move more easily. If you're considering these services, they are more than worth the investment!!!

I had alot of dark ink on my arm. old poor work, unbearable to look at any more. Poor choices of younger years. I visited a couple different artists and was told it couldnt be covered, so I went to skin worthy to get my arm blacked out. I met with gene who not only convinced me it could be covered but also took a black sleeve and gave it color. I have a few more sessions until it's complete or else i'd show it. But I promise when it's done I will be updating my review with photos. There are alot of great artists in this state and gene is hands down top notch. And who i will be getting all my work done by. (Alot of cover work to come)

We have been using Miller Plumbing for 10 years. Chad and Joe are solid guys. Chad offers a wealth of information, does a satisfactory job every time, and we never have any issues with any of his work. He's installed a water heater, water line to the fridge, installed a disposal, fixed incorrect plumbing, unclogged bathtubs and toilets, installed new shower fixtures, and toilet parts. The list goes on.....they are the only contractors we fully trust in Cedar Rapids. We wish they did everything else besides plumbing.

Our plumber, Danny, overcame the few unique challenges that came with our installation. A sign of his professionalism is the fanatical efforts he made to keep the work area clean before, during, and after the job. My wife and I can recommend Valenta, whole heartedly.
Edit: Oct 8, 2025 We had Valenta over today. The kitchen sink faucet's handle broke off in my wife's hand. We stopped off at Valenta on our way to the mall, picked out a new Kohler faucet. They found time to install it in the same day. Our plumber, Jeff, was fast, courteous, and clean. We have never been disappointed with Valenta.
We had a problem with our drain and septic system that we couldn’t get to fix but our septic man told him about us and he called right away and was here that afternoon. Called american dream carpet clean to come check out my carpets. I was told the carpets were cleaned before I moved in. I started losing so much sleep, id wake up congested and coughing and sneezing, and the days I would come home from work, and left my windows closed, It would smell like someone walked their dogs in my apartment. Knowing that property management was lying to me, I found bill on Google. He came by and said he could do my carpets right then and there, because even he was taken away by the foul stench coming up from The carpets. He used a black light and some kind of moisture probe and was able to determine and visually show me where the problem was. He set up in about 3 minutes and had my entire apartment done in just under an hour. He advised me that he may not be able to get some of the stains out due to it being an old carpet. But not only did he get the stains out 3 days later I can come home to a fully closed up apartment with no horrible stench l. American dream carpet clean is a step above the rest, I will never call on anyone else, after I see what these guys do. 10 stars highly recommend you atleast give them a chance to come look and give a quote. You won't be disappointed.

Adriann and his team came out and blew our expectations away! We wanted a 6ft privacy fence 2 gated entrance. We were told my other it’s was going to take 6 months. We have used Hughes Nursery for all our outdoor needs. Trees and landscaping. I never dreamed I would have such a beautiful yard. They are so talented with drawing up designs. We purchased a house with very neglected lawn maintenance from the prior owners. We had Greg's come out to assess our lawn - the manager Mike McDonald with his fert team of Jay Collins and Steve came up with a plan to mitigate the mole issue, had Liz come out to aerate and seed to address the terrible weed issue going on. Jesse was also sent to deal with the ants nest everywhere on the property. Also, Jeron came and took care of mowing our property, which was such a huge help and our property looks amazing again. It is so nice to see the lawn thriving again and all the people at Greg's are so helpful and really nice to deal with.

They are supper nice caring they had to trim a lot of my trees they did a awesome job they can come help when every sone times they have to reschedule because of something they have for there family that is ok but then after they come out and work on it it takes like a couple hours or if is big then 1-2 days

As the property manager at a condo neighborhood with 43 buildings and 31 acres, we have many trees to maintain. D & D is very reliable. The owner quotes the work and they stick to the quote. The crew does a great job, and they always clean up the work sites. The owner is very knowledgeable, and her knowledge helps guide tree trimming and tree removal decisions. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist, but I had no other choice today. I reached out to an old friend Haley who I know has worked in the dental industry for awhile now. I messaged her at about 11pm Sunday (sorry i know that’s late) she replied to me right away when i woke up Monday, was able to get me in Monday but I choose to do Tuesday for my work schedule. Haley was just really quick, friendly, and just amazing to set things up with. Moving on I get to the office, the lady who greeted me and signed me in was extremely nice and helpful, the lady who did the X-Ray’s and everything else until the Doctor came was extremely nice and pleasant talking to. Moving on to the final person, the wonderful Denist… Morgan Dralle!!! I have known her Husband my entire life, and have known her throughout highschool. I was a little nervous seeing a dentist younger than me… BUT she did an AMAZING job, I felt comfortable the entire time, she was very intelligent, informative, and you can tell she cares about the people around her and of course the patients . All around what an amazing experience, can’t wait to recommend this place to family and friends and continue to come back. Thanks ladies!!!!
Dr Paula is simply the best. She has extracted teeth for both of my boys and turned what could have been a painful and scary experience into such a positive one. I love this clinic. The people are so nice. And they really take the time to take care of you. They listen to you and they try to help you. And they don't just dismiss you and heard you out like cattle. I have to move back to Indiana. But I will definitely miss this Chiropractic clinic. Savanna groomed my dog today for mobile grooming. It was fantastic! She is 13 years old and shakes a lot after grooming sessions elsewhere. She didn’t shake at all. Savanna was so gentle and good with Momo. She was groomed so well and she feels so soft now. The convenience of it is wonderful and great communication. Marissa was great to communicate with and set up appointments. I couldn’t recommend them more.
I've been a yogi for nearly four decades, mainly in my own home. I attended Yoga for POC this afternoon and it was a truly chill experience. The instructor was kind and professional, making sure each of us (roughly 15 in all) were comfortable in the space. At the end, each of us were offered free passes to future classes. Cannot wait to come back!
Sayde has helped me tremendously with sciatica. I was taken by ambulance to the emergency room unable to walk. They wanted to put me in a care facility. Morphine did not help! I made it home with other medication and was afraid to go back to yoga. I had a private class with her and she showed me how important form was to control my pain. She is very knowledgeable about how the body works and can pinpoint problems by just watching you sit or move. I am now back to my regular yoga classes and I cannot explain how grateful I am for her care and knowledge.
The instructor remembers you instantly and makes you feel so welcome and relaxed. All the other yogis were also very kind and made it easy to look forward to seeing them all every week. PLUS I learned great care for myself, especially the importance of focused breathing!

I had a shoulder injury for 10 days and I had gone to the chiropractor 2 times and tried stretching etc. I went yesterday and my shoulder is GREAT today. I wish I would have gone sooner. I have been here many times, and I knew it would be the ticket. They listen to what is hurting you and work it out. It is deep tissue so just remember at the time it may feel a little tender, BUT they know what they are doing! Prices are great, you don't have to book your appointment days or even hours in advance. I did ice and heat after due to my injury but I am back to normal today. Love this place!
