“Audree is the best and so talented. She’s photographed me and my siblings since we were kids, I have wallet-sized Kliks senior pictures of each of my many cousins frozen in time at 17, and she was the artist behind the camera for some of the multigenerational portraits with grandparents that we treasure the most.
Now we’re all adults out of town—earlier this summer we were all in IC for less than 36 hours for my mother’s retirement celebration and the ONLY other mandatory full group event was to stop at Kliks before leaving for the airport, because getting a session with Audree is that important to us.
What makes Audree so incredible is her ability to capture individuals’ personalities while creating a cohesive and timeless photograph. The photos she took of us in the early 2000s instantly take me back to who we were at that time while remaining visually and stylistically strong today. As the person rallying the group and observing collective energy, I can also confirm that Audree is the easiest person to work with, her studio has the best lighting / aesthetic, and all of our studio sessions with her are so relaxed and fun…a real conversation between artist and subject.
