“It was July 4th and the temps warming up. Our AC went out. I have been a Villara customer since we bought our home. I have always found their technicians to be thorough efficient and professional.

The technician this time came out in a timely manner. Went through the entire system, finally narrowed it down to the thermostat. He replaced it and we were back in business. The service charge AND COST FOR THE NEW thermostat was not cheap. But I feel like I received good value for the money.“

“My 17-year-old HVAC system stopped working again after it had been repaired by another company in August 2025. I contacted Harris Air Mechanical, and they responded quickly. Robert came out and replaced the capacitor, but he explained that this was only a temporary fix because the unit had significantly deteriorated and would likely fail again. He recommended replacing the system. Since the unit used R-22 refrigerant, which is no longer readily available, I decided replacement was the best option rather than continuing to pay for temporary repairs. The work was originally scheduled to take two days, but they completed it in a day and a half. The technicians arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. as scheduled, worked neatly, laid down tarps, and wore protective boot coverings inside my home. They also helped install my new Nest thermostats and replaced my air filters. Ashley from Harris Air Mechanical assisted with scheduling the final inspection, which was completed promptly and without any issues. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend Harris Air Mechanical.“

“Recently had pre-summer struggling of a 20 year old Lennox and decided to switch to a heat pump on the recommendation of trusted friends. Between my partner and I, we interviewed 6 HVAC contractors either recommended by friends or highly reviewed. To be perfectly honest even with the creation of an excel spreadsheet, comparison was difficult as the contractors offered different manufacturers, different models, different add ons (e.g. maintenance contracts, labor warranty etc). We chose Erik and Belle Air Systems because of a very old fashion quality—Erik’s word is his bond! He didn’t upsell; he didn’t over promise, i.e., no surprise costs as the project got underway. He communicated clearly every step of the way from setting up an expedited evaluation (which he arranged to do the next day himself as we had an uncomfortable tenant and her dog on our hands!) to installing the unit by the end of the week. In fact, he was delayed by less than half an hour for our initial appointment but rather than leaving me waiting, called to update me. He fielded countless questions in separate communications via phone, text and email, wanting us to feel confident before moving forward. His contract was straightforward—he arranged all required testing and submissions promptly and we received our SMUD rebate check within 2 weeks just as he said we would. No one wants to race to replace a conked out air conditioning under the pressure of an encroaching heat wave arriving before summer officially started but working with Erik relieved the pressure. He really is a gem—a genuine pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!“
