“We had an urgent AC issue during the recent triple-digit heat wave, and unfortunately our home warranty company told us it could be almost a week before they could get someone out. With a 1-year-old at home and my wife’s elderly grandparents staying with us, waiting that long simply wasn’t an option.

We called Buckley Heating & Air, and they were able to send someone out that same day, which we truly appreciated.

I especially want to recognize Kyle, our technician. He came out late on a Saturday night to help us, and from start to finish, he was incredibly professional, thorough, and patient. He carefully inspected our AC system, including going into the attic, and took the time to explain what he found in a way that actually made sense to us.

Kyle came back a second time to double-check everything, and he was just as thorough and helpful. He answered all of our questions, walked us through the different options available to us, and explained the potential costs without ever making us feel pressured or rushed. He also took the time to explain how the newer California HVAC requirements and laws could affect our options if we needed to replace the system.

That level of service really stood out to us. When you're dealing with a broken AC during triple-digit temperatures, especially with a young child and elderly family members in the house, you want someone who understands the urgency and genuinely takes the time to help. Kyle did exactly that.

We ultimately chose to take the cash payout from our home warranty company rather than move forward with the contractor they assigned. The experience with that contractor was completely different — they were very rushed, didn't take the time to explain our options, and quoted us a price that was roughly three times what Buckley had quoted us, even with our home warranty coverage.

The difference in professionalism, communication, thoroughness, and pricing was honestly remarkable.

“Our GE wall mount oven failed showing random errors. Called SK Appliance Repair. They were very responsive and quickly set up an appointment for evaluation. Alex, the technician, determined that the oven's control board was malfunctioning. They ordered a new oven control board but GE sent the microwave control board instead, costing Alex an extra visit.
