Rose was so kind and made me feel comfortable and it was completely normal.
When I told her I wanted to chop it short due to less maintenance as a new mom she discouraged it and recommend a different cut that is still low maintenance but beautiful. I’m so happy I went with that she said because now I can look good and feel confident in my new hair! I will 100% be coming back to Rose at this salon!
It's impossible to give this music school less than the maximum allowable (5), especially when it comes to Ms. Natalie Gingis. I met her more than 20 years ago, when I was in college, taking a music course with her. That's when I started taking private lessons with her. I was amazed every time she demonstrates a piece of music that I was learning. She brought my level up significantly. She was my inspiration. I learned multiple music instruments from teachers graduated from the Vietnam Conservatory music school. None can be compared to her abilities. She's gifted. Her daughter, Anna Gingis won top international prices. So do lots of her students. I prefer lessons with Ms. Natalie over her daughter. Those that are complaining don't know how lucky they are to have her in the Saratoga areas and they are not good enough to understand, or they don't have the discipline to study piano. Most music teachers, especially, piano music teachers cannot demonstrate at the level Ms. Natalie can. Every time someone tells me that I play well. I always reply that I was so lucky that I met a piano teacher name Natalie Gingis when I was in college. My daughter took music lessons from this school, too. She quit because she's into sports. Seeing that white Kawaii RX-2 reminds me of the good old time.
I cannot say enough incredible things about InHands. This experience was truly life changing and set the gold standard for post op care.
From the moment I arrived, I felt completely supported and genuinely cared for. The 24/7 care and support was exceptional, there was always someone available, day or night, to help with mobility, medications, comfort, and meals. I never once felt alone or unsure during my recovery.
The only thing I kept thinking the entire time was how much I wish something like this existed after I gave birth to both of my children via c section. Every new mom deserves this level of care, rest, and support.
InHands is worth every penny and more. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who wants to recover from surgery with complete peace of mind, without burdening their loved ones. The absolute cherry on top was having my family visit me in a comfortable environment and knowing that while I was being taken care of, they were able to get a full nights rest and go about their lives as usual.

During our consult I’ve never felt more heard than with her. She broke down everything I was saying and made a game plan for my skin and my face not just for the right now but a long term plan to keep me achieving my goals.
I did a complete face balancing with her and I’ve truly never felt better and more comfortable in my skin. My favorite part about going to her is that she doesn’t let me over do it(which I have a tendency to do that, in my head more is better) and she truly proves that’s not what I need. I love her natural approach and truly reeling me in and proving to me that less IS more!
Another thing is I’m absolutely terrified of needles and she has the lightest hand and truly quickest application I’ve ever had. She made the process nearly painless.

I would definitely recommend this place. Sofia is one of their best employees—she is both an excellent nail technician and a talented hairstylist. She consistently does an amazing job, and I always leave happy with the results.
My only complaint is that there are often many walk-in customers, and although I usually make an appointment, the salon doesn’t always seem to have enough staff available to accommodate everyone efficiently. I think management should consider hiring more employees to better handle the demand.
That being said, Sofia is a keeper, and she is one of the main reasons I continue coming back. Highly recommended!

Walked into Trendz Hair Salon completely on a whim and had one of the best haircut experiences I’ve had. Gwen welcomed me warmly even though I didn’t have an appointment, and I basically gave her free rein with my hair. Somehow she knew exactly what would work, and the result was fantastic.

I have curly hair and Ginny did a great job with the color and cut. My curls are bouncy, and Ginny was able to choose a perfect color that matches my skin tone covers my grey hair. I really appreciated how she knows techniques to cut and style curly hair. And products she used worked really well - Ginny really understands the ingredients, importance of pH levels, and all products had very gentle scent (I don't like strong scents and heavy ingredients). Would highly recommend if you're looking for someone to cut and color curly hair. Great location and beautiful salon is an added bonus!
Lizzy is now the only person I can trust with my hair! She did such incredible work! I decided I was going to box dye my hair and that did not work out so well... so I decided to reach out to Lizzy for her to correct my mistake. I also asked if she could give me some layers and a trim since I havent had my hair cut in over 5 years and let me tell you she did not disappoint at all. She is a true artist. Terri is absolutely amazing. I get my hair cut and colored there regularly. I have curly hair so it can be really difficult to cut, but Terri knows exactly what to do. She taught me how to get my hair to curl just the way I want it to . Highly recommend!

Ever since my old barbershop changed ownership, I’ve been bouncing around from shop to shop. The cuts I got were OK, but the vibe was always impersonal. I finally tried the Downing Center barbershop and am happy to report that I will definitely be returning for future haircuts. Mike gave me a great cut including eyebrows, ears, and mustache. That plus he is a very good conversationalist. I enjoyed my visit. Recommended.

I have been coming here for five years every three weeks and have had a great experience every time. Superior quality, sweet and attentive staff and the only salon I trust. Most others are a hit or miss every time you come in but Emily has high standards and trains her staff accordingly.
I just had the most amazing pedicure experience! The ladies were incredibly friendly, sweet, and attentive. The detail they put into my pedicure was impressive - from the thorough foot scrub to the precise nail shaping and polish application, everything was perfection. I left feeling relaxed and pampered. Highly recommend this place for top-notch service and wonderful staff!

My wife and I dropped into The Nails Emporium on a whim, and my wife left convinced she has found her new go-to spot in Los Gatos. From the moment we stepped through the door, there was a relaxed vibe, welcoming tone—but the true standout of our visit was Mimi.
Mimi handled my wife’s pedicure with meticulous care. She trimmed and shaped each nail perfectly, taking the extra moments to ask about length and comfort rather than rushing through the basics. My wife walked out visibly relieved—no more rough edges catching on socks or shoes, just smooth, even nails that looked as good as they felt.
The hot-stone massage that followed was bliss. The stones were the right temperature—soothingly warm without ever feeling too hot—and Mimi used them to work out tension along the calves and heels. It was the sort of mini-vacation your feet don’t soon forget.
Cleanliness was impeccable, the chairs were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere struck that perfect balance. Prices were more than fair for the quality of service, and we never felt rushed.

Agreed with the others review, Ann and Lee @ Model Nails are friendly and they treat you like you are family friends. No frills nail shop, but just how I like it, less noise and more calm and relaxing.
Tam and Lyn Sing provided a lovely mani/pedi for me. They were efficient and made good use of the time, while still making the experience relaxing. They helped me choose colors. I will visit again definitely!

I had an amazing facial with Donna. The ambiance in the space was nice with the low lighting. She had THE softest hands which felt amazing. I fell asleep during it and I left feeling so rejuvenated and my skin felt great

I just had an amazing Thai combination massage with Bella. Don’t let her petite size fool you - she is strong and uses her elbows, knees and feet to dig deep into sore muscles. Combined with Thai stretching moves, she will melt the stress and tension right out of you. I was pretty sore from 10+ hours of driving this weekend, and I’m good as new now!

Everything was wonderful! I love relaxing in the lounge, the steam shower is the best, and your lounge is perfect (except I’d love it if you had a hair mousse available!) spa Los Gatos is definitely my favorite go-to spa.
This is a late review for work Al did last winter, when our Eichler boiler finally gave up, and it was time to upgrade.
Al replaced the ancient gas boiler with a sparkling new tankless, and now months later, it seems like it’s done a great job getting us through the cold season!
Al is very responsive and honest at every step, from scoping and estimating, to dealing with the fun challenges of old wiring - like in our case, our thermostat wiring was at full line voltage, not low voltage so he could not install a Nest thermostat. After a few tries, he got the idea to use a wireless thermostat and that’s been working well (and now the thermostat can be where we actually want to measure the temp, instead of randomly on the wall).
Overall, would definitely recommend.
Main drain line 99% blocked from roots. Clear Drain quickly diagnosed the problem and returned with a a hydro-jet. After clearing and camera inspection, they discovered the roots most likely entered through a joint made 2.5 year prior. Work they DIDN'T do. They offered me everything from preventive maintenance I could do myself, re-doing the problem joint and everything in between. Very happy with their work/attitude and will have them return to fix that joint and add another clean-out. FIVE STARS!
Carlos and Gerardo did a good job in helping us resolved our washer drainage system. They impressived me with all the well equipment they have. Besides the heavy duty sneak machine, they got camera to inspect the drainage and discovered a small pieces of sneak tool that previous plumber left behind inside the drainage pipe. Both of them are very friendly and patienly explained to us what kind of our problem we faced and possible options to resolve it. We are really impressive with their good work.

I started seeing Dr. Adam Kleinberg because I had a pinched nerve between my C6-C7 and a bad case of tech neck. After taking X-rays, he walked me through exactly what was going on and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. Insane first experience at Casab Chiro! Quite honestly life changing experience. I was referred to Dr. Ellen by Dr. Phelps as part of my TMJ diagnosis and treatment . I have been seeing doctor for over a year . It started with a weekly appointment and in many instances twice a week to help with TMJ related pain and discomfort . Doctor has helped me through this difficult phase of my life when I used to visit her with immense pain . The chiropractic treatment from my experience is quite different from others . She used a different technique and use X-ray if needed to understand what happening before giving you lots of adjustments . What distinguished Doctor Ellen from others was her willingness to work with my orthodontist and providing an integrated treatment vs. unwilling to work with him . This was very critical cause I have had poor experience with other doctors who were unwilling to work with other doctors and practice .
You can setup appointment easily and she always welcomed you with a smile . Her office provides you with superbill for insurance submission and that has been very helpful .

I’ve been seeing Dr Lee for over a year now that Dr Schmidt is phasing down to just one day a week.
Dr Lee is amazingly thorough! I went in for an annual skin check and he saw spots that I wouldn’t have thought twice about and they wound up being cancer. Yikes! One was melanoma. I feel so well cared for in his hands. He is enthusiastic about what he does and very easy to talk to. He was patient explaining my options for treatment.
He is in only three days a week since he has a practice a few days in Monterey which makes appts more challenging but I’m happy to wait.
So far, so good. We dropped off our pup there for her first overnight stay since they are close to our house.
The staff was friendly, and everything went smooth. Not to mention, their daycare and over night stays are reasonably priced.
The only feedback I'd give is that they should charge/allow after hours pick-up because it's hard to be back by 3:30 otherwise you're forced to pick up the next day.
That said, I would gladly pay an extra fee for a later pickup around 7pm or so because getting home from anywhere in the bay area and beyond takes times, but could also become an additional revenue stream for the facility since people are there anyway.
I have been going to El Gato vet for 38 yrs. They are honest with you, give you options when trouble arises. I am so grateful they offer me a senior discount as my lab Avery was diagnosed with Cushings disease and it’s a very expensive disease with the medicine and constant blood tests to make sure cortisol levels don’t go to high or low. Dr Bibb and Katherine are great. The ladies at the desk Alma and Eileen are also very helpful, I would highly recommend

I’ve had such a great experience at Pilates Sante. Everyone there is super kind, welcoming, and supportive. This was my very first massage ever at 50 years old, and it was absolutely amazing. The office was clean, calming, and very welcoming. The staff made me feel comfortable right away, and the massage was perfect. I walked in with years of pain and tension and left feeling pain free for the first time in years. I've been seeing Kat for over a year and she is amazing. I can't speak highly enough of her! I usually get a deep tissue massage, but I have also gotten some relaxation massages as well. Before the session she takes a few minutes to chat about what you're hoping for from the session, where on your body you need extra attention, etc. So not only do I feel relaxed, I feel listened to and cared for. The massage itself is incredible. She is able to work out deep tissue knots while also keeping the massage relaxing and enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and book with her!

The first time I booked an hour, and after the first few minutes, realizing the masseuse knew what she was doing, I asked to extend it to 90 minutes. Evgenia is fabulous. I was looking for lymphatic drainage massage before a lumpectomy in 2021 and Evgenia squeezed me in. I saw her again after the surgery and monthly for several months. Now it's every couple of months. I would recommend her to anyone looking to boost immune function and overall health. My 6 month post surgery scans were completely clear FYI, and I am certain lymphatic massage has contributed positively to my overall wellness plan!
I have been seeing MaryAnn for massages and facials for years and wouldn't go anywhere else! She's very professional and gave me some wonderful advice for taking care of my skin. My daughters have also visited Therapeutic Art, and they absolutely love the facials and massages. The LaStone is amazing! Went in for a 1 hour combo massage. Cost was $60 (plus I tipped). Interesting setup. Past the counter is a room with 8 tables that they used for the head and foot massage. While they do your head your feet soak in a little tub. Someone else also came in for a massage while I was getting mine done and they worked on them at another table. After the feet and head were done I went to one of the six small rooms that they used for the back massage. Normal massage table with a hole for your face. Massage quality was good. A little problem with communication since she didn't speak English but everything worked out. I had a sore back and tightness in a foot and they felt much better after they were done. Don't come here if you want a high end salon experience but if you want basic bodywork at a good price this is the place to go.

There are not enough good things that I can say about this place. I didn’t really know what to expect when I started coming here. I didn’t even know there was specific therapy available for the pelvic floor. I’ve had some persistent pelvic hip issues over the past year and I really thought there no was no fix to them until I started coming here. I learned how the pelvic floor hip area carries a lot of tension that I wasn’t aware of. Brianna Quade has been extremely helpful with all of her knowledge and help over the past few months in helping me resolve them. It’s gotten to the point where my pelvic floor is even better than what it was before I started having the issues. Which I really didn’t even think was possible so I’ve been honestly amaze at the insane progress I’ve made since I started coming here. My physical activity has improved in ways that I didn’t even think was possible by releasing all of the stress and tension I carried in my pelvic floor area. I can’t recommend Brianna enough to help others get all of their issues addressed. The knowledge and skills she has seriously leaves me in awe with every appointment since I learn something new every time.
Dianne is an expert at what she does. I have had literally 100s of massages and she is in the top 1%. She works wonders on both my knotted calves from working out and my neck and back issues.

Grace is the best acupuncturist I have ever had. I fly from Florida to see her when I have injuries both physical and emotional. She has help more repair my body and spirit.
I’ve been seeing Charmian for a little over a year at this point. I came to her in my preconception journey, wanting support in reducing the residual hormonal cascades of chronic stress and tone my body through acupuncture. I got pregnant a few months later and my pregnancy has been incredibly easy and straightforward, thank goodness. My stress is mostly eliminated and if I ever go back into it, I am much more easily able to take myself out of it.
Over this last year, I’ve gotten to enjoy her acupuncture, cupping, and massage, as well as the essential oils that she brings briefly into sessions at the beginning of the treatment to help me relax immediately. I try to schedule my appointments later in the day because I know that I will always leave feeling deeply, relaxed and rejuvenated!
