Dr Lerman and his incredible staff members; Jessica, Jennifer, Liana (forgive spelling), Dr Wilelm, medical assistants (I wish I could remember all of your names) saw my teenager who is touched by the Magic of Down syndrome. When I say this is a highly skilled, compassionate office, I mean it. They were able to diagnose and treat my child's painful foot condition within 4 visits, one a week. We had been trying various approaches for SIX MONTHS. They even have invested to have an xray machine in the office so you can get diagnosed quickly. I do hope they consider permanently stocking a items that fit pediatric sized patients because there is SUCH A NEED on the Peninsula...read full review
Dr. Lerman has been awesome and has successfully navigated me through a super tough series of issues over 4 years - during which time I saw 5 different podiatrists and 4 physical therapists.
I'll go over my story here, both in case it helps others in similar situations, and so you can see how many times & ways Dr. Lerman helped me.
I first saw him for a torn peroneal tendon, and I also got 2 other opinions. The others both said I could probably heal naturally; but Dr Lerman was the only one who ultrasounded it (on the spot), and he said, this won't heal naturally, you should get surgery. My daughter is a dancer and is experiencing some ankle pain. We saw multiple podiatrists before until we found Dr. Lerman. Not only was he excellent with a great wealth of knowledge, but he also took the time to listen, review past records, and evaluate her current condition. It's also very convenient and beneficial that his office has Xray and ultrasound machines to get the necessary images right away in the same visit. He recommended sound conservative, non-invasive approach for her to get better, and also ordered an MRI for further evaluation. In addition - his office's staff are all friendly and professional. Overall - I feel confident that my daughter is in good hands (finally!)
