Hanis Spa was seriously such a great find! I went in wanting to relax a little and ended up leaving feeling sooo refreshed. Hannah did the Lux Eternelle facial on me, which she analyzed and customized based on my specific needs, and my skin felt insanely moisturized and dewy after.
I also did one round of mole/sun spot removal and was honestly nervous about it, but it ended up being completely pain free. Hannah is super gentle and just has a really calming vibe. You can tell she genuinely cares and isn’t rushing you through appointments. Definitely recommend if you want a relaxing experience and really personalized care.

What a great barber shop. Tim and his wife are wonderful. Service is excellent. Really like that he uses a vacuum to make sure all of the cut hair is off me. And, after the haircut, you get a shoulder massage. Best barber around!

Finger Joy Nails Spa has been a favorite of mine for a long time, so much so that I continue to travel the extra distance to visit even after moving further away. The service here is consistently excellent--staff members are kind, efficient, and incredibly accommodating. They consistently deliver great manicures; I always opt for a gel set on my hands and gel polish on my toes, and they never disappoint. The spa maintains a super clean and chill atmosphere, making it the perfect quick and easy go-to spot for nail services.
They did my nails well, and it didn't hurt. The only thing is it wasnt very clean and I was scared of infections.

My first digital perm was with Esther over a decade ago and with moving around for school I've tried having the same type of perm at other salons but it never ends up being as easy a process or as long lasting a perm as with Esther.My only regret is not booking in time with her before my wedding! 10/10 would recommend

I travel the world for work, and although I live in Los Angeles, I can honestly say that the only place I go to for my nails and more is here in Santa Clara. The gel manicure is perfect.

EJ was the second company I asked for estimates and quotes. Our plumber Reymundo was very kind and courteous and experienced. For example, wore shoe covers in the house which not all plumbers have done in the past. I felt comfortable working with him as he explained everything clearly. The best recommendation was a camera inspection to understand the condition as not to upsell any unnecessary work. In fact, he recommended not to do some of my proposed work because of the older condition of the appliance and/or piping. He provided a fact based final quote for a larger repiping project for my consideration.

We’ve had three people from Quality Plus in our house in the past few weeks to diagnose and solve some issues with our toilet and faucet. One man even manually removed water from my toilet instead of using a vacuum because he knew my baby was sleeping and didn’t want to make too much noise. It’s the little things!
Shamrock Plumbing saved the day! I noticed that my water heater was leaking and we had no hot water! I called our neighborhood plumber Shamrock and they were able to come over the same day to take a look. They determined the water heater was broken. They were able to get me a new water heater and install it the same day! Super friendly, honest and affordable. I recommend Shamrock to all my friends and neighbors!

My water bill was extremely high this month and I had no idea why. I called pg&e and they said I had a water leak somewhere in my house. After calling around I decided on USA leak detector because they were able to get me an appointment the same day. They were able to pin point exactly where I had a leak. Steve was able to come out and fix my problem in 20 minutes which end up saving me a lot of money. He was extremely knowledgeable and didnt mind providing insight. I highly suggest them for fast and efficient work I’ll be calling USA leak detector for all my plumbing needs!

Our kitchen remodeling project with Done Right Builders & Remodeling was a massive undertaking. During the initial consultation, they addressed my specific concerns regarding the older electrical wiring. The team was respectful of our home, ensuring the recovery of our living space at the end of each day by cleaning up the dust. The cabinet installation took slightly longer than planned, but the overall service remained consistent. The results speak for themselves, leaving us with a highly functional layout.
We just finished having Foundation Solutions (FS) complete a seismic upgrade to the foundation under the EBB program and fix some foundation cracks. FS was the cheapest of the three bids we received since they proposed the least invasive of the foundation crack repairs (50-75% cheaper than the other two since were going to cut out parts of the foundation). I confirmed with an independent engineer that FS's proposal made sense compared to the other two and the engineer confirmed that FS had a good rep, so we went ahead with FS, since why spend money you don't need to.
Kyle was great to work with on all the paperwork for the EBB and Berkeley funding programs we were using. He was also very responsive throughout the process. We ran into a few hiccups along the way, but I am still giving them 5 stars since I work in construction and I rarely experience a project that doesn't have some hiccups, but how the contractor responds to the situation makes all the difference. Kyle always owned the hiccups and jumped into fix them without me having to push, throwing in some unasked for extras to make up for any issues. Humberto and his team did a great job getting the actual work done and left the place in good order. Would hire them again.

The Switch to the overhead kitchen light wasn't working and caused other problems. The outlet for the deep freezer was dead as a result. The Neko electrician diagnosed the problem and quickly changed out the switch. A plug in wire had come unplugged from the old switch. He explained that the springs that hold the wires plugged in would become weak over time due to heat and vibration. Rather than replug the wire in the old switch, he installed a new switch. The current problem, no pun intended, was solved, as were future problems with the old switch. He was quick to respond with a scheduling, showed up at the appointed time, was very professional and personable. Nico will be my go-to for electrical needs in the future. Foreman Pedro Hernandez and his crew from West Coast did a great job of removing a damaged tree quickly and neatly from our sidewalk. The stump was ground up and removed. The sidewalk was cleaned up before they left. One week later, a new tree has been planted and well mulched. They fulfilled their contract to the city of Palo Alto efficiently and professionally.

Dr. Levine is phenomenal, let me tell you why, I haven't saw him for 2 yrs. I been having problems with my right side, the right maniable, right shoulder, right hip, right leg and foot. I been to oral surgeon at standford they noticed the swallowing, however, for insurance approval for a MRI takes time. I can't wait. I been in pain for 3 weeks. Levin noticed jawline off. Once he did his magic the swallowing disappeared. Everything from the right side felt painless. Continue to go tiwce a week along with seeing Dr. Septi to be consistent. Because im a runner. I need to make sure im not off to one side, to prevent injury. Going two years with out see Dr. Levine didn't help. Wasted time seeing oral surgeon, primary dr and neurologist didn't do me any good. Everything came but normal.
She is one of the best. She helped me a lot to reduce my pain all over the body .
I am glad to have found this place. Everything is so good about them. The receptionist is polite and extremely helpful. Dr. Lin is very knowledgeable, effective and thorough. I have visited him with two injuries in the past one year and he never disappoints. His fingers are magical, I feel better right after the first session. Michael is also very good, applies the right amount of pressure and the locked up areas feel better.

Came here for a medical exam my parents needed for the green card. The team did everything fast and the documents were ready within a week. Given that they didn't have any vaccination records, they took a blood sample and did all the missing vaccines. Definitely recommend them!
Reasonably priced good massage. A few things to note:
1) the complimentary (optional) facial or the 5 dollar add ons all subtract time from the massage itself. e.g. 10 minute facial for 60 minutes massage would end up with 50 minutes of massage. The 5 dollars guasha would be 15 minutes of the 60 minutes.
2) to add onto that, you HAVE to tell them in advanced if you want the complimentary facial. We finished the 60 minute massage, came outside to ask to learn we needed to request the facial, and that it would've needed to be subtracted from the massage time.
3) card friendly! They get your tipping amount and signature at the end, way better than other facilities that force tipping pre-massage.
4) minimal communication. Probably assuming everyone has done a massage before.
I have visited Dynasty Health Spa several time the place is very clean and everyone is friendly. I had massage with Lisa she is the best , she is very professional and she has her me with shoulder and back pain , since I have been in this facility I don't go to any other place as this is the best place I have been with reasonable prices. And I always ask for Lisa as she is the best.
I booked a 1 hour deep tissue massage day-of, and it was incredible. I lift regularly, and the masseuse (Alice) picked up on that immediately and applied good, progressive pressure. She started applying light pressure with just hands, progressed to more intense pressure with her forearms, up to full body weight with knees and feet. She massaged my arms in a way I didn’t even know I needed, and my back muscles were twitching from the extra blood flow and release. The massage was worth every penny! I tipped $25
I don’t see why everyone is complaining about leaving more of a tip… the whole reason why the pricing is low(go try find a good massage for this price elsewhere) is so you can leave a fat tip. The masseuses only get tip $ not per massage or per hour, they are like independent contractors. Common sense would tell you to leave a big tip. I only see a few ladies but Nana is one of the best and who the business is built around, she trains most of the ladies but they can’t all perform like her. Everytime I leave a post about her she gets non stop busy for months and then it’s hard for me to get in but I don’t wanna hate keep. The other places I go to charge me a lot of $, here, you pay $60 for an hour or $50 for 45 mins. If you get Nana to massage you, you are expected to tip the same price of the massage… so for a $60 hour tip at least $60, I tip $100-$150 for the hour depending how good she works. Those that are tipping $20 for an hour are really getting over on them and the workers gets almost nothing for an hour.
Had a full body 60min deep tissue massage with Grace and it was wonderful. She asked where to focus on and definitely took care of my requests. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Jiajia Zhang is amazing. I saw her for acupuncture for long-term lower back pain (years) and a sprained ankle (months), and the results were quick and significant. After only three sessions, my ankle pain is almost gone, and my lower back is about 90% improved. Highly recommend Dr. Zhang to anyone with chronic pain, arthritis, rheumatology-related discomfort who wants to try an effective, non-medication approach. For me, acupuncture made a real difference and helped me recover much faster than I expected.

Long over due review here. I was a healthy 34yo with an active lifestyle and good BMI. I've had 3 miscarriages prior to coming here. My therapist said she had acupuncture for fertility and now has 3 kids, so I decided to give it a shot. I came here 1 month after my last miscarriage and did fertility acupuncture, took their chinese herbs and followed their guidance and instructions meticulously. I had my IUI a month later and I ended up pregnant, this time with my rainbow baby. She's now 2.5 years old! I'll be back soon to prepare for ivf this time. I went to see Dr. Ma after struggling with tennis elbow for several months. I had already gone through physical therapy, but unfortunately my condition actually got worse, so I started looking for alternative treatments and was referred to Dr. Ma for acupuncture.
After about two months of treatment, my elbow pain was almost completely gone and my arm felt significantly better. What impressed me even more was that Dr. Ma takes a very holistic approach. In addition to treating my elbow, he also worked on my left side more broadly, including my shoulder and leg, which had old injuries. Over time, I noticed that my whole left side felt more balanced and comfortable.
