Today was my first visit at Mynt Salon with Rose! I was really nervous because I generally don’t try new places because I’m embarrassed about my scalp dryness. Given I’m going to be a new mom in a few weeks I wanted to just chop off my hair for ease.
Rose was so kind and made me feel comfortable and it was completely normal.
When I told her I wanted to chop it short due to less maintenance as a new mom she discouraged it and recommend a different cut that is still low maintenance but beautiful. Rose was really great. I told her about my lifestyle and the needs for my haircut, and she took my requests seriously which is important to me. After I laid out my requests, she asked if I ever like to tie my hair back, which shows she cares about giving people the right cut for them instead of doing the bare minimum.
She also said if the cut didn’t work for me, I could come back within two weeks and she’ll adjust it for free. But I won’t need to because even after I washed out the nice styling she did, the cut is still perfect for me.

Rose P is an amazing hairstylist!! I book a last minute appointment because the day before my hair was butchered by another hair salon. And after explaining to her the situation. She walked me through what she was going to do and how she was going to fix it. Along with that she also gave me product recommendations to help my hair grow. I’ll definitely be booking with her again
