G is incredibly talented—she can freestyle braid, follow a reference, and most importantly, she braids with love and truly values her work. My brows have always been one of my biggest insecurities because of their lack of shape and density, so finding someone I could trust was really important to me. From the moment I sat in her chair, she took the time to ask what I wanted and truly listened to all of my concerns before working her magic.
She carefully mapped out my brows and explained every step of the process, including how trimming certain areas would improve the shape and overall balance. She did a beautiful job tinting them and even took extra time to show me how I could fill them in myself in the future to help with the sparse areas I struggle with.

This place is phenomenal! I've been coming here for almost four years now. They're owned primarily by sisters - Tina, Ann, Maria, Cindy, and Kim. I've always requested Tina but all of them are great and extremely friendly. I usually just get regular haircuts but Kim colored my sister's hair for my Army retirement ceremony and she loved it and looked stunning! I lived off Franconia Commons Rd when I first came into the area, and now I live in the Wilton Woods and still come here. They love what they do and they're good at it!

I hate getting hair cuts. Normally, because it feels like I can't communicate with the barber or the barber doesn't give me a haircut that I ask for or they make mistake and don't correct it. However, I didn't have any of those issues here and I was very happy with my haircut. I definitely will go back and recommend this place, at least for men's haircut.

Lee (second chair from the door) has been cutting my hair every 1-2 months for the last 16 years except one time after I moved to Stafford and stopped at a barber near home. Not bad, but not close to Lee's perfection. Short tapered w clippers in back to short layered w scissors on top. Line-up, eyebrows, neck and clean-up using straight razor w hot foam. Meticulously done and I'm out in 15 min max with a piece of hard candy (butterscotch) in my mouth and a smile on my face! Always asks about my family, I ask and know about hers... just what a barber shop and barber are supposed to be.

Very Arabic barber shop feel with a Latin vibe, a bit different. They cut the hair though which is what matters. We did not have an appointment, just walked in and sat directly into a chair. Plenty of chairs open and ready for a Sunday. Employees were all decent, no issue.

Tinna Beauty Salon is a wonderful place to get your Russian Manicure done. The results are absolutely gorgeous and last for almost a month, all at a very reasonable price. I've also had my makeup done by Tinna several times—she is an amazing stylist who understands exactly what I want. Each time, I feel like a queen at events. My next stop is permanent eyebrows with Tinna. I can't wait to see the results!

I’ve been going to glossy nail since 2015. I lived in the Ravensworth neighborhood so I gave it a chance due to proximity. I’ve since moved to West Springfield and have tried other salons closer to me. No one compares in quality! I am someone who only gets my nails done for special occasions or trips so when I get them done I want them to last a while. I get gel on my nails and regular polish on my toes and it always lasts for at least 2 weeks. I recommend you call before going in because sometimes they are busy. If you call they’ll hold your spot for you.

Randomly wandered in at the perfect time before the afternoon rush. The pedicure was wonderful but the star of the show is Vincent. As a girl that doesn't get acrylics often, I decided to splurge and get something special for my best friend's wedding. After showing Vincent info pics, the bridesmaid dress, nail inspo, and color scheme, he came up with the perfect shape, length, color scheme and design. I scheduled a follow-up appointment with him before walking out the door.
Kim was amazing! Made an appointment last minute because one of my nails painfully cracked. Maria helped me pick a pretty chrome color and soak the set off while Kim was finishing up with her client. Kim was so kind and patient while she did my nails. She took her time even though they were about to close and did such a wonderful job. 10/10 experience. Great people and fantastic work!

I went to Karina for an acne facial and her services went above and beyond my expectations! She was quick to respond and sent me a text within 24hrs when her appointments were completely booked. I had tons of questions since I’ve suffered from acne since teen years ( now late 20s) she personalized my whole experience as I was worried about my skin post treatment (had a wedding to attend the following week) extractions typically are uncomfortable but Karina took care with my skin! My skin was so inflamed and within a week of the service a lot of my cystic acne had healed flat and calmed! On top of that she was kind to give a number of samples and I’ve been loving the products. I love her personalized approach to treating her clients and will definitely be back for another treatment.

I’d seen this type of treatment on social media and thought it looked relaxing. It was! I got the 90-minute head spa with the facial option. I loved how your head stays nice and warm even when the water is off because of the steam. My hair has been extra soft ever since. My only minor complaint is that the road noise is a bit loud in the treatment room. I’d definitely go again!
I really enjoyed, to the spa for the red light therapy and the cryotherapy, and the compression boots. The facility is great, but the experience would not be what it is without the assistance of Joana at the front desk. Since I have joined, she has taught me about all of the benefits of all of the services offered at the spa. Use my membership to the maximum capacity.

I had a working GFCI that stopped working after 8+ years and I thought it had gone bad and needed to be replaced. I bought a new one and wired it exactly the same as the old one, and it still wasn't working. I called Mike who told me while he couldn't come fix the issue, he would walk me through troubleshooting the issue. Turns out I had both the old and new receptacles wired backwards and the old one was more forgiving. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with me, my problem was solved. We got three estimates from local companies for quartz countertops. We visited two of the companies to view their products. Majestic Marble and Granite had a wide selection of quartz to choose from. Manager, Senol at Majestic provided good information and sent a rep to view and measure our kitchen countertops. Within 2 days he gave us a quote that not only included quartz countertops but also quartz backsplash. We were very surprised and pleased by his prices compared to the other two companies. Majestic returned once more for final measurements and within 4 days told us the product was ready to install. They demo'd our existing countertops and installed the quartz counters and backsplash within a few hours. The product looks very nice, and we're pleased by it and the workmanship Majestic did. Highly recommend this company.

I visited the Star Granite store in Springfield, where I met Murat who provided me with a very informative consultation and a preliminary estimate on the spot. Murat also stopped by the next day to do the measurements and answered any additional questions I had. Murat did not pressure me and was very patient answering any additional questions I had. Once I made up my mind and placed the order, things happened really fast! The installation crew was great and Murat continued to support the project by answering my questions. The installation crew was very professional, very polite, very knowledgeable. They did an excellent job installing the countertops and pointing me to any issues they saw during the removal of the old countertops and fixing it on the spot! Overall this was a great experience from start to finish. I 100% recommend Star Granite and I will work only with them on any future projects. Also, Murat’s product selection is great!!

I had my bathroom done by Bath Fitter. They did a good job but I wanted to highlight the work of Robert Snook. I was having issues with the sliding door and Robert searched his vehicle for parts and could not find them. He stated he'd be back the next day with the necessary parts. The next morning, Robert called with the parts. He showed up, installed the parts which solved the problem. He also tightened up the drainage cover which I had not reported. He went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with their work. I would recommend them to anyone, especially Robert.
I have hired and recommended Smooth floors for many years. They remodeled my kitchen, all our baths and flooring throughout our whole house. Custom built me a pantry. They have done work for many other people that I know and always do a great job and work hard to get started and finished on time. Their prices are very competitive and the owner is very conscientious and eager to make happy customers.
Precision Contracting finished our basement bathroom remodel with a tub-to-shower conversion and toilet installation. They were super easy to work with and very responsive — from the estimate stage to final payment. The remodel looks great, was flexible to our budget, and completed in a timely manner.
We contacted Numon after seeing their ad, and we are so glad that we did. Out of the 6-7 quotes that we received for updating two bathrooms in our 1960's home, Numon was the most competitive. Additionally, they itemized everything, which allowed us to customize the project (i.e. choosing what we would install and/or provide ourselves). They were also available to meet our timelines, completing one bathroom before Thanksgiving and one before Christmas/the birth of our son.
George and Zula (husband/wife) are the owners, with George serving as the project lead and Zula as the design consultant. George has been in the remodeling business for 20+ years, working with many members of his team for just as long. George and his team have excellent attention to detail, and would always consult with us to ensure everything was being installed according to our desires. His team always showed up on time and worked diligently, ensuring they cleaned up after each day's work. They were friendly, personable, and nice to our kids. Zula was also very nice, helping us make some selections (flooring and bath tile), when we could not find anything we liked at local stores. Overall, we are thrilled with their craftsmanship and high quality of work. We wholeheartedly recommend them for your remodeling needs!
Craig and his crew including Darwin, Elvis and others were very easy to work with. We started with one idea and it quickly expanded and changed as we went along. The crew and Craig would patiently explain the work and ask for our input as they went along. The work itself was meticulously done and we are very happy with the result.
This was my first ever renovation, and I couldn’t have asked for a better company to do it than Contemporary Remodeling. Reynolds is easy to work with, punctual, and stays in touch throughout the process. His main guy Nick works very hard and does painstakingly good work. I didn’t expect to actually enjoy the renovation, but here I am. I have already recommended them to two neighbors and will continue to do so.
TBI is what your lawn needs to be looking great. TBI was referred to me by a friend and I can’t be more pleased with the results. They are priced right and their delivery of service is top notch. Depending on your yard, it will take a few treatments to get your soil conditioned, but by the end of the first year, you will see major improvements. Follow their care instructions and you will be in greener pastures!

I rarely post reviews, usually it is when I am dissatisfied and want to warn others. This post is for the exact opposite reason. I am very particular and these guys are top notch. Very responsive and great customer service were the start. But then the tile installers were amazing. It is truely an art for them and they crafted a masterpiece. Measuring, cutting and laying each tile meticulously as if it were their own home. Beautiful work! I only got 1 other quote and their pricing was comparable so I would say they also have competitive pricing. Good experience all around.
I found Holiday through Yelp and I’m glad I did. I’m really impressed with their customer service. Whenever I call, I am always greeted warmly and professionally. Anthony Slade has come out twice so far and he is excellent. He explains everything and is very detail oriented. I appreciate how I get an email and phone call when a technician is on the way and they always come within the expected timeframe - usually on the earlier side ; ) Highly recommend.
Highly recommend Rossi Pest Services! I had yellow jackets in my house, entering thru second story eaves. Jack arrived promptly, with a 20 foot ladder, ready to help. They really uphold their 30 day guarantee. Jack had to return a couple times to treat inside (this required removing drywall from my ceiling (I was happy he was willing to do) to be able to remove the nest from the ceiling crawl space. Happy Yellow Jacket nest is gone!

Want to add that after contacting several other companies, Rossi Pest Services was the only one that was willing to treat 17 feet up (Jack has a 20 foot ladder), the only one who arrived ready to give me an estimate AND do the work same day, and was willing to remove the nest from inside ceiling crawl space. Other places would just treat and leave the nest.

We enjoy our backyard so much more since starting treatment with Mosquito Joe several years ago. The gnats and mosquitoes used to be terrible for the entire summer, but now they are barely noticeable. Our technician, Paris, did a great job. I always appreciated his texts telling me when he was coming and when he had finished the treatment.
Have used them for two years with no complaints! The tech is always on time and is very thorough in his eliminating all bugs and critters. Very happy to recommend them.

Update October 2024: Jon and his team pulled the old, overgrown front beds out and replaced them with wonderful flowers and sod in some areas. It has completely changed the view and "mood" of our front area lightening it up and balancing the area. Simply top shelf work. Jon has our highest recommendation without reservation.

I've been going to this dental group (Springfield location) for about 4-5 years now, and they always go above and beyond during my visit. The cleaning is so thorough (I always see Christy!). I feel like she and the doctor really cares about my teeth/gum/mouth health, and I always leave feeling great and with new tips about my oral health. Everyone in the office is kind and helpful.

When I lived in NOVA, Dr Peter helped me heal in more ways than I can count. He was respectful and a great listener. I used his acupuncture services mostly; however, he would apply other therapies (cupping, chiropractic, etc.) as required. I only wish I could find someone in my new location equally competent.
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Lim. She has been instrumental in getting me back to myself. I had been dealing head and neck pain that would keep me up at night, drain my focus and energy. I was really getting discouraged thinking, there was no fix. I’ve been bringing my cat here ever since we got him. They are conveniently located right next to my house so it’s just a walk away. They are always so nice and my cat, Tofu has never had any issues here. Service is fast and all the vets here are great.
After not getting answers for our dog’s rapidly progressing condition at multiple other clinics, we came to RVRC desperate for solutions. All of the staff at RVRC were incredibly supportive, professional, and got our pup in for an MRI immediately. CCU Nurse Fani, Dr. Kees, Dr. Divita and Dr. Hollingsworth were amazing and helped us get through a tough time with high level care for our dog and empathy and communication for us. When they couldn't transfer my credits the manager came and was polite and courteous and quickly handled the situation explaining the desk staff didn't have authorization but she was more than happy to do it. I came across this spa a few months ago, after moving to the northern VA area, and I like this place. The table shower is nice and they have a sauna, which is nice. Both providers give very good massage and they don't short you on time. I go here weekly, given that I have back issues that sometimes flare up.

Casey is incredible in her field, and the impact of her work is truly transformative. I received acupuncture and cupping to help with a very tight neck. She not only gave me back mobility but she also helped to relieve pain in my upper back and hips. Post visit she suggested TCM supplements for at-home support, which were fantastic.
