Happy Homes Remodeling knocked our kitchen remodel and floor refinishing out of the park. Our outdated cabinets and scratched hardwood have been completely transformed. We now have clean lines, modern upgrades, shiny surfaces, and new and improved lighting. The white subway tile backsplash and dark grout really pop up against the navy blue cabinets. I’ve been searching for a great braider in the DMV for 3 years, and I’m thrilled to say I’ve finally found a gem! G is incredibly talented—she can freestyle braid, follow a reference, and most importantly, she braids with love and truly values her work. My only small critique is that while we were having a great conversation, the music was a bit too loud to fully enjoy it ?. That said, the atmosphere and decor are lovely—intimate, stylish, comfortable, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My brows have always been one of my biggest insecurities because of their lack of shape and density, so finding someone I could trust was really important to me. From the moment I sat in her chair, she took the time to ask what I wanted and truly listened to all of my concerns before working her magic.
She carefully mapped out my brows and explained every step of the process, including how trimming certain areas would improve the shape and overall balance. She did a beautiful job tinting them and even took extra time to show me how I could fill them in myself in the future to help with the sparse areas I struggle with.

This place is phenomenal! I've been coming here for almost four years now. They're owned primarily by sisters - Tina, Ann, Maria, Cindy, and Kim. I've always requested Tina but all of them are great and extremely friendly. I usually just get regular haircuts but Kim colored my sister's hair for my Army retirement ceremony and she loved it and looked stunning! I lived off Franconia Commons Rd when I first came into the area, and now I live in the Wilton Woods and still come here. They love what they do and they're good at it!

I hate getting hair cuts. Normally, because it feels like I can't communicate with the barber or the barber doesn't give me a haircut that I ask for or they make mistake and don't correct it. However, I didn't have any of those issues here and I was very happy with my haircut. I definitely will go back and recommend this place, at least for men's haircut.

Lee (second chair from the door) has been cutting my hair every 1-2 months for the last 16 years except one time after I moved to Stafford and stopped at a barber near home. Not bad, but not close to Lee's perfection. Short tapered w clippers in back to short layered w scissors on top. Line-up, eyebrows, neck and clean-up using straight razor w hot foam. Meticulously done and I'm out in 15 min max with a piece of hard candy (butterscotch) in my mouth and a smile on my face! Always asks about my family, I ask and know about hers... just what a barber shop and barber are supposed to be.

The shop is clean, professional, and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes it easy to relax while you’re there. Like any barbershop, some barbers may fit your style better than others, so it’s worth trying a few to see who you prefer. Personally, one of my favorite parts of the experience is the head massage after the haircut — such a great touch and honestly something I look forward to every visit. Very Arabic barber shop feel with a Latin vibe, a bit different. They cut the hair though which is what matters. We did not have an appointment, just walked in and sat directly into a chair. Plenty of chairs open and ready for a Sunday. Employees were all decent, no issue.

Tinna Beauty Salon is a wonderful place to get your Russian Manicure done. The results are absolutely gorgeous and last for almost a month, all at a very reasonable price. I've also had my makeup done by Tinna several times—she is an amazing stylist who understands exactly what I want. Each time, I feel like a queen at events. My next stop is permanent eyebrows with Tinna. I can't wait to see the results!

I’ve been going to glossy nail since 2015. I lived in the Ravensworth neighborhood so I gave it a chance due to proximity. I’ve since moved to West Springfield and have tried other salons closer to me. No one compares in quality! I am someone who only gets my nails done for special occasions or trips so when I get them done I want them to last a while. I get gel on my nails and regular polish on my toes and it always lasts for at least 2 weeks. I recommend you call before going in because sometimes they are busy. If you call they’ll hold your spot for you.
This Salon was amazing! The workers were AMAZING! They made this experience incredible!!! This will now become my regular salon. I literally cannot express how much of a great time I had here. The women who work there are true gems! They made me feel welcomed & heard. Not only were their customer service excellent, but the service as well. 10/10 recommend. Will be coming back!!

Kim was amazing! Made an appointment last minute because one of my nails painfully cracked. Maria helped me pick a pretty chrome color and soak the set off while Kim was finishing up with her client. I’d seen this type of treatment on social media and thought it looked relaxing. It was! I got the 90-minute head spa with the facial option. I loved how your head stays nice and warm even when the water is off because of the steam. My hair has been extra soft ever since. My only minor complaint is that the road noise is a bit loud in the treatment room. I’d definitely go again!
I really enjoyed, to the spa for the red light therapy and the cryotherapy, and the compression boots. The facility is great, but the experience would not be what it is without the assistance of Joana at the front desk. Since I have joined, she has taught me about all of the benefits of all of the services offered at the spa. Use my membership to the maximum capacity.

Mason was incredible. I had been searching for the right artist to do a couple really important pieces for me for years, since they’re detailed and meticulous, and then finally landed on Mason. He took his time, was really patient, extremely professional and cool. Hands down, I’ve literally never had a steadier hand tattoo me, he is ridiculously precise and a perfectionist. (Literally looked like printed on me, it’s crazy) Absolutely hilarious too. He brought my idea to life better than I ever imagined it could be, his input and opinions on things are top tier, he just has that gift/talent and it shows! My whole family gets their tats with him and i recommend him a million times over. Also the shop in general is the coolest/chillest atmosphere, my face hurt from laughing all day!

This is our third experience with Abel Plumbing. The first time we had a toilet reinstallation and the lattertwo times we have worked with Rob. The second time we needed a new drop in sink and also guidance on a new faucet. He let us know that we would get a better discount if we went shopping ourselves, but gave us advice along the way. He went as far as giving us his personal cell number so we could call him while we were in the store if we had any questions.
Each time he is here he’s quick with service and gets the job done. Most recently we had a leak in a pipe in our basement and he fixed that in under 15 minutes. I then realized , after he left, that there was no water coming from one of our sinks afterwards although the toilet was working fine in the same bathroom and all the water in that rest, the house was fine.
He came back the next day in the morning and worked on the issue and charged us nothing for it. Part of it was just a safety precaution on the sink but another part he cleaned out.
I highly recommend them as a business. They were having a little bit of an issue with their phones so Bob gave me his personal cell phone to call anytime needed. If you don’t get a call back the same day please call again.

I had a working GFCI that stopped working after 8+ years and I thought it had gone bad and needed to be replaced. I bought a new one and wired it exactly the same as the old one, and it still wasn't working. I called Mike who told me while he couldn't come fix the issue, he would walk me through troubleshooting the issue. Turns out I had both the old and new receptacles wired backwards and the old one was more forgiving. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with me, my problem was solved. I have a lot of oriental rugs of various sizes. I have used Hadeed for years both for Karastan manufactured rugs and also quite a number that my husband brought back from the Mid-East decades so. In the last two years I have had Hadeed work with all of my Mid-Eastern rugs and runners. Not only do they look fantastic once they have been cleaned but they have done remarkable repair work as well. Not just with refringing and fixing the edges but also fixing a rug that had damage when my husband originally acquired it. That sucker looks better than I've ever seen it. The staff are wonderful from Nick and the guys that do the pickup and drop off to the office staff who call to explain the recommended repairs. Can't recommend Hadeed highly enough.

They have done work for many other people that I know and always do a great job and work hard to get started and finished on time. I had my bathroom done by Bath Fitter. They did a good job but I wanted to highlight the work of Robert Snook. I was having issues with the sliding door and Robert searched his vehicle for parts and could not find them. He stated he'd be back the next day with the necessary parts. The next morning, Robert called with the parts. He showed up, installed the parts which solved the problem. He also tightened up the drainage cover which I had not reported. He went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with their work. I would recommend them to anyone, especially Robert.
I rarely post reviews, usually it is when I am dissatisfied and want to warn others. This post is for the exact opposite reason. I am very particular and these guys are top notch. Very responsive and great customer service were the start. But then the tile installers were amazing. It is truely an art for them and they crafted a masterpiece. Measuring, cutting and laying each tile meticulously as if it were their own home. Beautiful work! I only got 1 other quote and their pricing was comparable so I would say they also have competitive pricing. Good experience all around.
We contacted Numon after seeing their ad, and we are so glad that we did. Out of the 6-7 quotes that we received for updating two bathrooms in our 1960's home, Numon was the most competitive. Additionally, they itemized everything, which allowed us to customize the project (i.e. choosing what we would install and/or provide ourselves). They were also available to meet our timelines, completing one bathroom before Thanksgiving and one before Christmas/the birth of our son.
George and Zula (husband/wife) are the owners, with George serving as the project lead and Zula as the design consultant. George has been in the remodeling business for 20+ years, working with many members of his team for just as long. George and his team have excellent attention to detail, and would always consult with us to ensure everything was being installed according to our desires. His team always showed up on time and worked diligently, ensuring they cleaned up after each day's work. They were friendly, personable, and nice to our kids. Zula was also very nice, helping us make some selections (flooring and bath tile), when we could not find anything we liked at local stores. Overall, we are thrilled with their craftsmanship and high quality of work. We wholeheartedly recommend them for your remodeling needs!
Contemporary Remodeling did a complete remodel of our kitchen. Their work including subcontractors, was high quality. They did a great job of communicating with us throughout the entire process which made for a very pleasant experience.

Bartlett Tree personnel are experts at their job. Between Patrick my arborist and Shane my field tech, I have total confidence that my plants are getting the best care. Both Patrick and Shane have extensive plant and plant disease knowledge and can spot trouble before it becomes an issue. Shane spends time examining each plant when he is here for treatment and makes sure everything has been attended to before he leaves. He is a fountain of knowledge regarding native plants and I appreciate all the suggestions. Bartlett is the best!
Bit Steve's Tree Care provided superb tree removal and trimming service on my property last week. The crew took down an ailing maple, trimmed other trees away from the house, and removed some errant branches, leaving nothing for me to clean up afterwards. Upon my request they also cut the removed tree's trunk into short sections and left the wood for my use. Steve and his crew communicated clearly and courteously throughout, and the price was right. Highly recommended.

Dr. Josh is excellent and has helped me rehab and repair my neck and back after a serious accident less than two years ago. Its clear he and his staff know what they are doing. My dogs have been patients here for years, and I recently needed help with some international travel exams and paperwork for my dogs. Imani, the practice manager, is an absolute LEGEND. She knows her stuff, and will go above and beyond to help with the paperwork and make sure everything is taken care of. The vets are also great of course, but if I had to travel again I would 100% trust Imani with the crazy process. You can’t go wrong with using this practice.
This practice has been great! After my Veterinarian in So MD could not clear up my cat's ear infection after 4 months, 5 visits, 4 cytology lab results and over $1000. This place diagnosed the polyp immediately and removed it a week later with no further issues. Staff and doctor were very professional and helpful. Vet Nurses were exceptional!
After not getting answers for our dog’s rapidly progressing condition at multiple other clinics, we came to RVRC desperate for solutions. All of the staff at RVRC were incredibly supportive, professional, and got our pup in for an MRI immediately. CCU Nurse Fani, Dr. Kees, Dr. Divita and Dr. Hollingsworth were amazing and helped us get through a tough time with high level care for our dog and empathy and communication for us. I came across this spa a few months ago, after moving to the northern VA area, and I like this place. The table shower is nice and they have a sauna, which is nice. Both providers give very good massage and they don't short you on time. I go here weekly, given that I have back issues that sometimes flare up.
