Recommend for curly hair! I have refused to let anyone cut my hair for 3 years because of my curls, but she did a wonderful job! Listened to my concerns and knew how to cut it. Will be coming back regularly from now on. The prices are very reasonable especially for the DMV.

We decided to give Madelyn’s a try during our visit to the area. Maria kindly took us as a walk in for a haircut for me and my 12 year old daughter. My daughter has always wanted to dye her hair as well and I was worried about how it would turn out and overall cost. We trusted Maria’s expert knowledge on doing a balayage without bleaching and it turned out amazing! My daughter is over the moon and so happy with the results and the cut (for which she was also hesitant to cut too much). That said, Maria is amazing with working with teens and meeting parent’s expectations. True gem of a place!
