“We arranged for Prestige Lawn Services to lay down black mulch over a large landscaped area in our backyard. A crew arrived and efficiently completed the job in a short amount of time. The top layer of mulch was raked level and smooth. The mulch was so perfectly applied, it appeared to look like black velvet!
All mulch was evenly applied around the base of numerous bushes, small plantings, and bedding features. We were delighted by the way it looked. We saved ourselves several hours of back breaking work and frustration!

“Independence Landscaping was contracted with VDOT for snow removal in the Lorfax neighborhood during the January 2026 snowstorm. Snow removal was difficult due to the amount of snow and the icing that followed combined with extreme cold. Lorfax streets provided additional challenges.
I had the pleasure of meeting Eswin Yanes Perez who was working as a plow operator. Eswin, despite having worked long days under difficult conditions, committed to clearing Wells Road. Eswin took pride in his craft and cleared the road all the while taking care not to block in driveways!
