I had made an appointment for today with Gino who has been styling my hair for a couple of years now to my satisfaction, however today my hair was really too short to require a cut so I decided to let my daughter be pampered by him rather than cancel the appointment. In her entire life the only time she has been to a professional stylist was for her wedding the rest of the time she has relied upon my administrations quite confidently. From the moment Gino began to shampoo her hair and then massage her scalp she began to relax. All her worries instantly left her. He did an absolutely marvellous job on her very fine hair and complimented me on the way I had been looking after it with no formal training.My daughter felt completely pampered and looked gorgeous when she left. She said she could have sat by the bowl having his magic fingers massaging her head for hours, her headache which had been plaguing her for days had miraculously dissipated.Well done Gino I am so very happy that I discovered you.
I had gone to another salon for a perm and I wasn't happy with it. They told me to come back and they would redo the perm and I would have to pay again with a bit of a discount. So I thought that's not good customer service and remembered I had seen a sign for the All About You Salon and decided to give them a call. I called and they said, come on in for a consult and we'll take care of it.
So I met with Kelly and she was fantastic! She showed me what was wrong and how she could fix it with a bit of layering and styling. I'm so happy to find a new hairdresser who understands me and my hair! I highly recommend Kelly, she listens and has a warm personality.

I have been bringing my 3 year old to Leo since his first haircut and it’s perfect every time, and Leo is fantastic with him. The atmosphere is amazing, so much so that it makes our toddlers day when we say it’s time for a haircut. Also huge shoutout to the guy at the front desk yesterday as he was overly helpful and went out of his way with opening both the bathroom & front door for me with my stroller.
Very happy with all aspects of this business. However, please update your Saturday hours on google, so people, like myself don’t waste their time coming there at 4:05 expecting it to be open until 5:00 only to find it closed. They do have the hours posted on the door, but they do not reflect googles hours and in this day and age, this is what a majority of the people rely on.

I came in with a group of 5 guys, and even though we originally booked for five people(5 pedicures and a fill), they had no problem accommodating an extra person when one more joined us last minute. That kind of flexibility really stood out.
The place is super clean, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the whole atmosphere is just fun and welcoming. We were definitely a bit on the rowdy side, but they handled our energy like pros and made the whole experience enjoyable for everyone.

I had a wonderful experience at JT Nails! Mary did my nails, and she is absolutely fantastic. About a month ago, I came in and got cat-eye nails, and I was so impressed with the quality. They lasted an entire month without any chips, which is amazing.
Mary takes such care with her work and is incredibly skilled. She pays attention to every detail and makes sure you're happy with the final result. I was so pleased with my first visit that I came back again. This time, I got a pedicure with shellac, a bio gel refill, and an aura nail design. Once again, Mary did an outstanding job, and my nails look beautiful.

He really listened and delivered what I envisioned. He’s more than fair. He even tattoos my daughter. She said she only trusts him. Me too. I had an issue with my washing machine and honestly didn’t know if it could still be fixed, but these guys handled it professionally from start to finish. I've been a customer of Maid Simply for +3 and have always been impressed by their service. They offer a variety of basic cleaning options including oven and fridge cleaning that help a lot managing three kids under 6 and 2 dogs. They were also open to doing deeper cleans in cupboards etc after we got renos/duct cleaning work done on the house. The staff are always considerate and great with our dogs. They will frequently let our dogs out for pee breaks in the yard if we're gone for the day. They are flexible with the work that they do and will focus on specific areas of the house if requested. Would highly recommend to anyone but especially people with young families like ours as they're reliable and do consistently good work

We were initially very hesitant to use Molly Maid, thinking they would be expensive and might not deliver exactly what we were looking for. We were preparing our house for sale, and since it was completely empty, we needed a thorough, top-to-bottom clean.
They did an excellent job. The kitchen cabinets looked like new again, the bathrooms were spotless, and everything, from railings and floors to high and low dusting, was done with great attention to detail. They even cleaned both the inside and outside of all cabinetry. Overall, the work was outstanding.
There was one small area where a floor didn’t quite meet the same standard as the rest, but after a quick call, they immediately addressed it and made sure it was brought up to expectations without any hassle.
They were friendly, punctual, and professional, and most importantly, they delivered exactly what they promised. On top of that, they turned out to be more cost-effective than I expected—even compared to private cleaners.

We couldn't be happier with this company. Johan came right to our house to measure the room and to show us samples of the carpet we were interested in. A different company did everything online. (They trusted our measurements, which were wrong, and sent us pictures of different carpets). CarpeatDeals made sure the measurements were accurate. It was nice to have someone come to our house. We were in a bit of hurry for installation & they were able to accommodate us. The installers were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would never hesitate to hire this company for our future carpet needs.

We used Covering Concepts for our kitchen floor tiles and upstairs hardwood floor. We are very happy with the results. The tiles are quite variegated and they took the time to make sure the tiles were placed to look as natural as possible. The hardwood floor is well laid even in tricky areas. The staff in the store are nice and helpful. This company was recommended by our contractor. They may not be the quickest, but they get the job done well. We would use them again.
No ... I do not recommend Karndean flooring. In 2020, I had Karndean floating floor installed on the entire main floor of a new townhome. I upgraded from what was standard to Karndean as I loved the look of the Karndean floor and was impressed by the promises. Well, was I in for a suprise and major disappointment. After a year, boards had separated in clusters in the dining area, by a staircase, in the hallway, and in the master bedroom. I called the flooring company. The rep came out to repair it. Well, another year later the same thing occurred in the same 4 areas, different boards. This has gone on for 5 years now. At year 3 the Karndean rep and the flooring rep came out to determine the problem. The flooring rep arranged for a crew to raise baseboards that were too tight against the floor. The following year, exactly the same thing occurred. It happens annually. In 2025, the flooring rep and the Karndean rep again came to repair the gaping floorboards and they determined that it was time to make a claim to Karndean to replace the flooring. I recently learned the claim was denied due to tightness of some of the baseboards against the flooring and a bolt for the the closet door in the entry going through the flooring into the subfloor. I just so happens, the bolt is nowhere near the areas of the board boards that are gaping. So do I recommend Karndean flooring? Definitely not. I am stuck with a floor that continues to create gaps annually. And I am disappointed that a floor that I believed to be superior and which was considerably more expensive, performed so poorly.

Kirsty was an expert in carpet selection and putting this big 2 day project together and her installer did a perfect job in our upper 4 bedrooms of our house. I recommend splitting a 4 bedrooms re-carpeting project into 2 different installation days if you have lots of furniture already in place as we do. We did the install on a Thursday and Tuesday and I was able move the dressers, beds, desks, chairs, books, closet clothes out over the 2 days before each install day. I slide the dressers, mattress, book cases, on sliders available in a kit at Home Hardware. It took us about 4 hours to clear out 2 rooms and move the contents to the other rooms. It took about 2 hours to move it all back after carpet install was complete. We repeated this process for the next 2 rooms as well. We declined having the installer move the furniture which saved us about $280. This project requires a lot of careful planning on my part to avoid chaos and damaging walls or floors. Fortunately planning ensured no damage anywhere and the carpet by Anderson is beautiful.

We cannot say enough AMAZING things about Alex and the team at Artisan Contracting. They recently completed a major renovation on our home, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish.
The project involved removing our existing kitchen and creating a much larger, open-concept living space. Alex and his team installed a beautiful custom kitchen with quartz countertops, custom cabinetry and oak hardwood flooring. They also removed the entire back exterior wall of our home and the existing deck, installing a large support beam for a large new family room addition.
Alex and team are extremely skilled at what they do. Their quality of work and attention to detail was outstanding. What impressed us most, beyond the fantastic quality of work, was the professionalism of Alex and his team. They were incredibly organized, respectful, and kept the job site extremely clean throughout the entire project. Because of this, we were able to live in our home during the entire renovation — even when there was no back wall on the house!
Alex was incredible when it came to communication. He responded quickly to every question we had, always providing thoughtful, knowledgeable, and honest answers. At no point did we ever feel pressured or rushed into making decisions. He was always patient and gave us the time and information necessary to make choices we felt confident about.
One of the things we appreciated most was the transparency throughout the project. Alex provided daily updates so we always knew what work had been completed, what was happening next, and how the project was progressing. His quote was detailed and transparent from the beginning, with no surprises along the way. We hired Let’s Landscape Together in summer 2025 to fully redo our backyard, with new deck, fireplace, multi-level patio and lighting. We initially approached the LLT team in Spring 2024 to start planning design and layout for a full exterior landscaping, working with Rob and his team to settle on design and phasing. Leading-up to construction start, the team was clear on process and timing. All of the LLT employees and LLT’s sub-trades (electricians and carpenters) were great and very conscientious, and always left the work site in a clean/tidy state. They worked hard in sweltering heat from 7 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday for 4 straight weeks until the project was complete, with a specific team assigned to our project for the whole period. Following last year’s harsh winter, we noticed a few very minor deficiencies arise (i.e. one or two loose deck boards), and LLT was very prompt with getting these rectified with its carpenters (within days) under warranty. This year we asked the LLT team to come back in and finish off the lighting (as I had wanted to take on the softscapes), and within a week the team had scheduled to come for a half-day.
Overall, one year later, we are very pleased with the results and spend a lot of time outdoors as an additional living space. I highly recommend Let’s Landscape Together for your landscaping needs, and we intend to use them again when we eventually go to complete the front yard phase.
Worked with Dave last fall to have our pool liner replaced and a safety cover installed and also quoted for a future concrete surround project. Dave was incredible to deal with, very professional, very accessible and walked us through every line on the quote, as well as checked in with us regularly for progress updates throughout. I have a huge (at least 10floors high) maple in my backyard. McFarlan have been my go-to team to handle its trimming every few years. This year, they also put in some cable-ties for safety reasons. Reasons why I keep calling McFarlan back: 1. they are cost-competitive 2. they work quietly and efficiently 3. they leave my back yard cleaner than when they arrived (no kidding) 4. they are careful and methodical; never rushing. This place is fantastic! I had terrible pain in one of my molars but didn't have a dentist to go to. Dr. D’Souza saw me one hour after I called, did an assessment, and scheduled me in the next day to do the required root canal. Procedure went well and I was only a little sore for a couple hours after, which was much better than my previous root canal at another office years ago. This office showed a level of care and empathy that I've never experienced at a dentist's office before. I was nervous, anxious (like most people having to go to a dentist), and obviously in a lot of pain, and the way Dr. D’Souza conducted herself made it clear that it mattered to her that I was properly taken care of and pain free asap. Every member of the team I interacted with was not just a top level professional, they all also just seemed like genuinely good people that wanted to help me. If anyone is putting off going to the dentist (it had been YEARS for me), just go to this place. You will be taken care of and there will be zero judgment if you haven't been in a long time.

Have been going to Salima for 7 years and very surprised by a couple of negative reviews. The old saying ‘you can’t please everyone’ comes to mind. In our experience, Salima’s expertise is second to none. She is competent, friendly, and we’ve received the very best of treatment - 4 times yearly. I’ve also had several pairs of orthotics which are invaluable on my daily 5 mile walks and staved off surgery. Recommended 4 friends who are also very impressed.

Booked a 1 on 1 session with Dr. Ohson because I was stuck. I train hard, eat clean, and was still plateauing. Instead of throwing a generic program at me, he spent the full hour asking detailed questions about my training, recovery, and nutrition. By the end he pinpointed the exact issue: I was under eating for my output. Nobody else caught that. It sounds simple but it took someone who actually knows what to ask and listens to the answers. If you feel like you're doing everything right and still not progressing, book a session with Dr. Ohson. Worth every dollar.

Miss Jammie and I came into the clinic as a new patient with what I thought was an embedded tick in her chin. They were wonderful about accommodating us within a few hours of my phone call. As it turned out, a tick was not the case. They took their time and did a thorough examination of her, being very gentle and patient with her. Dr. Linda came up with solutions for me to heal the small abscess on her chin and something to deal with the itching problem that she seemed to be having. Two quick shots which were very reasonable in price, and she was good to go!!
The unhurried and very compassionate attitude of all the staff is very different from what I have encountered at the corporate run veterinarian clinics. And Dr. Linda taking the time to just talk with me as well as actually administering the shots herself and determining Jammie's age to be much younger than what I was led to believe, as she is a rescue cat, was a welcome change from what I have been used to in the past.
Being that I am a holistic practitioner, I appreciate Dr. Linda and all the staff for not trying to push unnecessary and potentially harmful drugs on my cat. And because of the treatment that she did do, today I have a very happy kitty!
I will definitely be bringing my other two fur balls in for a wellness visit in the near future and we will be clients for life.

We took our 4-year-old small girl to Dr. Silveira for the very first time, and it was such a pleasant experience for my partner, me, and most importantly, our dog. She is adopted and, due to her past, she is quite anxious and fearful.
Dr. Silveira is the first vet we’ve encountered who took the extra, extra time to comfort our girl before anything else. Our girl’s mood remained stable and not as nervous because Dr. Silveira and this clinic uses a “fear-free” method. Dr. Silveira did not coerce or “pin down” the animal; instead, she worked around our girl’s boundaries. We saw it with our own eyes, and it made a world of difference in our girl’s comfort level, who is currently napping away peacefully :)
I also appreciated how detailed Dr. Silveira’s notes are (compared to our last vet who barely wrote anything after a visit). Front reception was super kind and attentive too!
Despite the 45-minute to 1-hour drive, the exceptional tender care, professionalism and expertise we receive are more than worth the traffic. We would do anything for our girl and are just incredibly happy we found the perfect match.

PYC is truly the best! My old studio in Waterdown was closing and I was frantically looking for somewhere new and it has been so welcoming and amazing here. I’ve done over 100 classes since moving over in January and have learned so much - the different teachers are all amazing and the classes are consistently wonderful but each teacher puts a slightly unique spin especially with the Deep Flow classes and you learn something different in every class! The Barre/Power Sculpt classes are also amazing. The class times are consistent (including 6 am and 8 pm which is great with busy schedules), classes don’t get cancelled so it’s easy to plan and fit into your day. So happy I joined!

I was lucky enough to get in for a massage with Kasia today. I have been struggling with a persistent back injury over the last several weeks and Kasia’s care was just what I needed. She was slow and intuitive and intentional in her care and really took her time with the affected areas and even recognized some other areas that had been affected as well. I confidently recommend Kasia and I’m looking forward to visiting the clinic again soon.
Pam Tuffnell is an expert at dealing with inflammation and swelling. My knees were balloons and she got them back in track.

Dr Fletch treated me pre-and post hip surgery.His knowledge and expertise was incredibly helpful in my recovery.His treatments helped to alleviate pain and increase range of motion.He also gave me exercises that helped expedite my recovery.I have been to a lot of Healthcare professionals over the years. Dr. Fletch is by far the best one.Much more than a chiropractor in my opinion.If you feel you’ve tried everything to alleviate your pain do yourself a favour and go see Dr. Fletch.
