“what a tremendous experience! first-time tiler here... DIY bathroom tiles. start to finish, Eden set me up with everything I needed, great advice how-tos... mortar-to-grout. I over-bought tiles which they took back (unopened boxes...cuz I was sure I'd mess up). explained about the rails... who knew? not me. timing for tiles etc to set before grout. financially has no choice but to DIY this project and I came to the perfect place. great variety of in-stock tiles which I used. millions (it seemed) of ordering options. will definitely go back when I do my kitchen and LR floors. “Kirsty was an expert in carpet selection and putting this big 2 day project together and her installer did a perfect job in our upper 4 bedrooms of our house. I recommend splitting a 4 bedrooms re-carpeting project into 2 different installation days if you have lots of furniture already in place as we do. We did the install on a Thursday and Tuesday and I was able move the dressers, beds, desks, chairs, books, closet clothes out over the 2 days before each install day. I slide the dressers, mattress, book cases, on sliders available in a kit at Home Hardware. It took us about 4 hours to clear out 2 rooms and move the contents to the other rooms. It took about 2 hours to move it all back after carpet install was complete. We repeated this process for the next 2 rooms as well. We declined having the installer move the furniture which saved us about $280. This project requires a lot of careful planning on my part to avoid chaos and damaging walls or floors. Fortunately planning ensured no damage anywhere and the carpet by Anderson is beautiful.“

“We used Covering Concepts for our kitchen floor tiles and upstairs hardwood floor. We are very happy with the results. The tiles are quite variegated and they took the time to make sure the tiles were placed to look as natural as possible. The hardwood floor is well laid even in tricky areas. The staff in the store are nice and helpful. This company was recommended by our contractor. They may not be the quickest, but they get the job done well. We would use them again.“

“No ... I do not recommend Karndean flooring. In 2020, I had Karndean floating floor installed on the entire main floor of a new townhome. I upgraded from what was standard to Karndean as I loved the look of the Karndean floor and was impressed by the promises. Well, was I in for a suprise and major disappointment. After a year, boards had separated in clusters in the dining area, by a staircase, in the hallway, and in the master bedroom. I called the flooring company. The rep came out to repair it. Well, another year later the same thing occurred in the same 4 areas, different boards. This has gone on for 5 years now. At year 3 the Karndean rep and the flooring rep came out to determine the problem. The flooring rep arranged for a crew to raise baseboards that were too tight against the floor. The following year, exactly the same thing occurred. It happens annually. In 2025, the flooring rep and the Karndean rep again came to repair the gaping floorboards and they determined that it was time to make a claim to Karndean to replace the flooring. I recently learned the claim was denied due to tightness of some of the baseboards against the flooring and a bolt for the the closet door in the entry going through the flooring into the subfloor. I just so happens, the bolt is nowhere near the areas of the board boards that are gaping. So do I recommend Karndean flooring? Definitely not. I am stuck with a floor that continues to create gaps annually. And I am disappointed that a floor that I believed to be superior and which was considerably more expensive, performed so poorly.“
