i have been going to busy bee tailor for years!! they have always worked their magic and their prices are SO affordable. there have been times i needed things done in a time crunch and they have ALWAYS pulled through. i just recently needed a zipper put into something made with no stretch and she went above and beyond what i wanted and in two days when i needed it. i will never go anywhere else!

He didn’t and wouldn’t attempt to do anything that wasn’t possible.I set-up an appointment to get a perm, where I had a reference photo ready. Want to check in with an A++ review for Lauren A. New to DSM and I travel for work so have to find new stylists wherever I go. I called the salon and left a message I needed a short haircut and had read some great reviews. They called me back so quickly and were able to book me in with Lauren- she is someone who listens, asks questions, pulls up pictures and looks at your pics all to get the idea of what you want and what will look good. I can never say what I want but somehow she figured out what was and wasn't working. Lauren worked with my crazy cowlicks to give me a great cut/style with a plan for how to keep it getting better and better. Everyone at the salon is so nice, its a great vibe. I would recommend Trixie's and Lauren A to anyone in the area looking for a great short cut for women.

We came to get pedicures for a bachelorette weekend and had great service. The staff were ready for us when we arrived. The place seemed very clean (even the bathroom was clean). We watched as they unpackaged the tools to use on each of us, and observed multiple small foot scrubbers lined up on the carts that appeared to be single use for each individual. They spent time to thoroughly trim cuticles without causing pain. They were careful and gentle around cuts or other problem areas on our feet. Overall we had a great experience and were impressed by the professionalism and cleanliness.

I am a regular at Hawaii Nails and recommend them highly. I have had pedicures elsewhere but this place is my top choice, and the prices are quite reasonable. With a small staff, they do their best to accommodate both appointments and walk-in customers, but sometimes a delay is inevitable if a previous customer has shown up late for their appointment. Isn't part of the point in having a pedicure to have some relaxation time? Why schedule your pedicure right before you have something else to dash off to? A disgruntled customer managed to sour the atmosphere there for me yesterday, because she had to wait a few extra minutes after her appointment time.
My nail tech was Kim and she was amazing! She did the exact design I wanted (maybe even more perfect). From my past experiences this was the best one yet and I’m highly satisfied with their amazing attitudes and kindness especially because they stayed until almost 8!

We have fun with my hair on a random occasion, but she is perfectly fine letting me be boring. The family run salon is adorable. It has ample parking and they offer all types of services. I go for the great hair service. It is always chill her. There is always smiles and laughter. The services are adequately priced. I am going to keep coming here and would recommend Jamie 100%

I stumbled across Hush Spa because it's a walkable distance from my home. During my first visit, I had a 90-minute massage with Abby. I must say, the staff was extremely attentive and accommodating, which I really appreciate. They took me on a tour, listened to my concerns, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire experience. I also must add that Hush Spa is incredibly aesthetically pleasing. The color coordination with the pink, navy blue, gold, and marble is just perfect. It's not just cute or pretty, but absolutely lovely! The service was impressive and if the convenience didn't get me, the excellent service definitely did!

Made appointment for the needleless lip filler, but before doing so I sent pm’s to inquire about process & ask a million questions. Within the hour I was greeted and each every question was answered with information and patience. I also inquired about additional services and they made time before my scheduled appointment to do a consultation, and then made time to incorporate the additional services instead of making me schedule additional appointments which was soooo appreciated. Upon entering the shop the vibe was so welcoming, comforting, positive. Was immediately greeted by a warm, kind, inviting face upon entering, confirmed appointment, asked if I’d like anything to drink, and just chatted. Before she started the lip filler she explained every step of the process, kind of results I was looking for, showed me equipment, and explained what to expect & how it works being needleless. Lips are numbed with cream and then we were off. I decided to start with 1ml since having never done this before I was most comfortable starting there. It was completely painless, and when she gave me the mirror to look at them I was ecstatic & overjoyed with the results, literally blown away, and I was not expecting to be so in awe! She explained the aftercare and gave me a card also with the information. The report was instantly comfortable, easy. She also did additional tattoo service and then also received tooth gems, which I’m equally in love with!! I plan on going back for follow up appointments regarding my lips, and for other services they provide. What a top notch, amazing experience from beginning to end.

We had booked out two full days at the shop to complete one tattoo and get two more new ones with Paul. We were traveling from the east coast, and our flights were cancelled due to the hurricane hours before our flight. Torgerson was GREAT to work with! They were very upfront about pricing and contingencies. They quoted us nearly half what their competitors were quoting, did the job in half the time (one day to replace the pipe and another day to repair the street, whereas competitors were estimating five days), AND did less damage to my yard since they didn't have to dig out the length of the pipes.

A++ company. As a new home owner we had to get our sewer line replaced, they were the only company who could do the job without ripping up our entire yard, deck and retaining wall. TJ advised us of issues with the plumbing to our kitchen which was causing another issue , he ensured that was fully replaced so we didn’t have to keep having plumbers come out after getting such a big job done. They replaced our sewer, water line and all plumbing to our kitchen. Very reasonably priced for the extent of the job and extremely respectful. We decided to try another electrical company to see if better “rate” and more “seasoned” service. Front desk quickly scheduled Jon for next day to review scope and provide estimate. Estimate was fair so we signed. Work scheduled next day. 2-member team came up with an issue—no metal boxes behind exterior lights. So project expanded based on their recommendation. They are all about “ doing it right.” And, at a reasonable rate. So in 5-6 hours they had siding cut, boxes installed and new lights up. It looks great! I’m confident they’ll stand behind their service. And they have a Senior/Military discount which always helps. Highly recommend going with this fairly newly established company.

We recently had a generator installed by Action and couldn't be more pleased. Tyler did a great job of working hard in the rain to complete the job. The office was great at communicating and letting us know what to expect for maintenance. The cost of maintenance seems very reasonable considering they do come to your home and take away the old oil and filters.

I have 220 service to a heating appliance in my garage and my 40 amp breaker tripped for the first time since the garage was built 3 years ago. I could see some melting had occurred inside the subpanel. I called Mickle on Tuesday and 2 techs arrived at my home the following day 10 minutes before the stated time. Shortly afterwards Shane called me at work to review the issues and what they would need to do to get it fixed including replacing the subpanel and running heavier gauge wire to the heating unit. They were extremely professional and made the necessary repairs within a few hours. I take a lot of pride in my garage as we use it for recreational space among other things. Their work was outstanding and I'm now getting the highest efficiency out of the appliance. Furthermore Shane called the following day to make sure the work was to our satisfaction which was a nice added touch. I would recommend Mickle Electric to anyone in need of a quality electrician and I assume their HVAC work is equally good. My front door deadbolt lock broke and I knew I needed a skilled locksmith as this wasn't a "simple" lockout. I researched and read google reviews and called 515 Locksmith first - Angie was so very kind and helpful on the phone and sent her son to do the job. He was kind, patient (!!), and explained his progress as he took the lock off and replaced it with a new one. Had an old key with their name on it from my mother's estate. We had no clue what it was for. I brought it by the shop and they did their best in trying to identify it and what it would be for. Unfortunately, historical records were incomplete from the business changing hands a couple of times over the last 25+ years. They checked their computer and paper files to no avail. They showed me what the lock would look like to keep my eyes open, but they couldn't help beyond that. Very friendly and helpful, just not successful.

Toby and Melvin did a fantastic job on our living room renovations. My husband and I spent a long time and talked to many companies before we found CPIA. After the difficulty in finding a company interested in doing our project, it was a relief when Toby and Melvin were excited to take it on! They painstakingly scraped/stripped white latex paint off our original 1930s solid oak wall library, stained and refinished it. (Other companies told us to demolish it and rebuild it with cheap materials, because it would be too much work to refinish it). Toby also worked with us to design and build a beautiful solid oak window bench that looks like it fits perfectly with the original bookcase. They communicated well with us throughout the entire process, paid attention to the details, and took their time and did high quality work. We are so happy with how it turned out! Arsenio Vargas came to my property in Mt Ayr and inspected both of my roofs and 1. Saved me a ton of $ 2. He did only what was necessary. Being a absentee owner it is hard to find trustworthy contractors to do the job right and within budget. I highly recommend him and his crew. He fixed the leaky dormers and re-shingled a 4 plex and painted the side of the building.
My husband and I hired Marcia to help us redesign our kitchen and laundry room in the fall of 2021. She was professional and courteous from the first minute we met her. She walked through our entire house with us to get a feel for who we are and our style, listened closely to learn about what we wanted, and was open to our ideas and suggestions. Marcia sat down on the spot and sketched out some ideas with us present, shared her vision with us, and listened to our feedback. Her plans reflected a balance of beauty, style, and practicality that fit us to a T. We rolled with the plans, and a year later, are finally finished with the remodel. We couldn't be more pleased with how our home looks and feels now! It is open, yet the spaces are clearly defined. We have PLENTY of storage. The pantry is spacious enough that I could move all the items we previously stored in the hall closet to the kitchen. We had shelves custom built for the pantry and it's perfect. We hosted Thanksgiving for 10 people and at least at one point had 5-6 people in the kitchen. It never felt crowded. It's easy to have multiple people in the space working together without being in each other's way! I can also open and unload the dishwasher easily, putting dishes away with just a few steps. I can bring in groceries and put them away efficiently. We can find what we need without searching or having to rearrange things or get down on the floor. I can see what we have easily and don't have stale food forgotten in the back of the pantry. Our laundry room is also incredibly functional. Marcia's plan for integrating an unnecessary hallway into the space worked out beautifully. We highly recommend Marcia for your project. One of her strengths not yet mentioned is that she keeps a realistic budget in mind. What we saved in unnecessary expenses made the already modest cost of her services well worth the investment.

This Review is long overdue, but Mike & Brady and the rest of the team at Midwest Seamless deserve props for a job well done. A couple years ago we hired Midwest Seamless to replace windows in our 100-year-old home, and they did a fantastic job. The crew was incredibly professional and worked quickly to finish the project in a timely manner. I must give an honorable mention to Nando the lead installer for the crew. One of the tasks they had was converting a window into a sliding door where we were building a deck off the back of the house. As mentioned, we have an old house with trim around interior windows and doorways that I assumed would be unmatchable. Nando and crew were able to replicate the trim in a manner that you cannot tell the difference at all. Since installing the windows we've seen a noticeable savings in our energy bills over the hottest stretches of summer and coldest stretches of winter. The install was done in 2 days because the installer made a Dr's appointment the first morning. They did make sure all leaks had been fixed before leaving. There is a large crack in one wall now from removing the previous bath fixtures.

Brandon Benshoof's Tree service was very careful with soft ground from rain till ground dried out, wore a helmet, protective eye wear and thick jacket while up high on the boom, watched carefully for utility wires, cut tree branches like a surgeon to fall on smaller branches to protect the yard, crew raked the yard clean, extremely polite and supervised his crew well who were also very polite. I called Jason to have some work down at my grandma's house. He quoted me a very reasonable quote and was able to schedule me for the following week. The crew was careful not to disturb any of grandma's flower beds and removed the old limbs from the trees on the side yard. They worked quickly and even cleaned up afterwards. After going to a different dental office where the people there were not friendly, and I was quoted an outrageous price for the procedure I needed done. I was very apprehensive about going into another dentist office.From the very beginning I knew it would be a better experience. I spoke wirh Gia to set up an appointment. When I walked in the door Gia was at the from desk right away she was so nice, and made me feel very welcome.I then went back into the room.Tracy and Dr. Kouri were really great, and made me feel so comfortable. The day I went back for the procedure once again Gia was so nice and made me feel like I had been going there for years. I didn't feel at all nervous.Tracy was great, she really made me feel very calm before ,during, and after the procedure, she did a great job explaining everything that I needed to do after the procedure. Dr.Kouri was great, he explained everything that he was doing before, and during the procedure. Dr. Kouri also made me feel like I had been a patient of his for years.I can't ever remember going to a dentist office, and not feeling at all nervous the way I did at this office. The cost to get the procedure done was less than half the cost of the other dentist.I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Pulley is the best chiro I’ve ever had. My issues aren’t as complex, but my husband’s are, and that didn’t phase Doc at all. He will treat anyone he can, and will customize your treatment to be safe and as effective as possible even when other chiros won’t even entertain a basic consultation visit.Their pricing is probably the best you’ll find, they accept cash and card payments. If you have insurance, be sure to use it too! They don’t push gimmicky (and expensive) treatment plans or gadgets, supplements or other random things like other some local chiro offices do. With an appointment, you can be in and out in 15-30 minutes most days. They have awesome operating hours that make before and after work visits possible for the majority of patients. I started seeing Dr Braden recently and holy crap! I've been to chiropractors off and on throughout my life since I was 7, and none of them have been as attentive or effective as he has. His unique style blending chiropractic adjustment, massage, scraping, and cupping (which I haven't needed, but my friends have enjoyed) is truly a recipe for relief! I have been going to Dr Susan for many years. She has helped me with sinus problems, back problems, and aches and pains. Last January 2019 I fell on the ice and bruised my tailbone. That was very painful, however Dr Susan really helped me recover from that. There have also been times when I've injured my back due to falling off a horse, and injuring it at work, but after just one visit (no joke) I felt much better. She does take insurance or self-pay. She's a great chiropractor and I recommend her on a semi-regular basis to all of my friends on Facebook.

My back was in a serious pain. I couldn't walk with my back straight. I found Sexton Chiropractic and Wellness by Google search and made a same day appointment online. Doctor Sexton showed great empathy looking at me walking in his facility. He took X-Rays and performed chiropractic adjustments on my back. I felt a lot better after the first treatment. He explained my x-rays result. He also had me utilize one of his traction tables, and instructed me how to care myself at home. After 4 sessions within a week, I am healed, and feel free and healthy again. Dr. Sexton is extremely courteous, friendly, and professional. His front desk staff is also very friendly and efficient. The facility is very clean and very well equipped. I am grateful that Dr. Sexton relieves my pain and discomfort. I will keep visiting him for routine adjustments to maintain and improve my wellness.

We were traveling through Des Moines in our motorhome and needed to see a vet. We had an appointment at another vet and the storm knocked out their power, so I had to call around to all the vets in town. Most of them were like you would expect in any large city and didn't really care about our situation nor were willing to make time to see us in our need. Dr Krista Carroll and Easttown Animal Hospital saved the day with their empathy and assistance for our dog at the last minute. They were able to squeeze him in for an appointment and their attitude of giving and caring for animals was truly obvious, not to mention that amazing Iowa warmth and hospitality that makes you believe in people again! I would go to them as our regular vet if I lived here for sure. The care was wonderful and their attitude was so positive and friendly. I come back regularly to Iowa to visit family and will now plan to see them with our animal whenever we are in town.

The vets here are truly amazing. They are knowledgeable and really care about your animals, and even follow up via text a few days after your visit. The prices seem to be a bit higher than competitors, and the front desk staff can be prickly at times, but all in all a great place for your pets.

Loved my experience here. Alexa listen to my needs and sore areas of the body that I put down on the intake form. I had the hot stones massage. It was perfect on a cold day like it was today. I don't like a lot of talking during the session and she was respectful of that. I could zone out and relax and take in my relaxation time. She has a very good healing touch. Highly recommend coming to see her.

Been coming to see Dan Halfman for just a few weeks and I’m already seeing wonderful results. I broke my heel a few years ago and I had the plate removed this year. Dan is helping me to get the foot loosened up and reduce pain and swelling. He’s doing a Great job, but more than that he’s so personable and easy to work with. I recommend this Physical Therapy location highly.
I had a great experience with Emma at Kinetic Edge PT. She was super helpful in helping me to rehabilitate my shoulder from gym-related injuries. My body is still recovering some, but she helped me to understand the problem better and educated me on techniques to reduce strain and prepare/recover to hopefully keep it from happening again. I would absolutely recommend Kinetic Edge and Emma!
The physical therapists and all of the staff at DMU are caring, compassionate and are so supportive! They truly listen & discuss options with the patient’s best health & interest in mind. Besides that, they are wonderful people!
