They worked incredibly hard and paid attention to detail, making sure everything was done right. The finished floors look amazing, and they left the space spotless when they were done. Our kid’s bathroom developed a leak, and I called 3 or 4 plumbers in or near Altoona leaving messages, but R&D is the only one who called me back. We discussed the leak and one other need my wife and I had, to install a whole home water filter. They got us on their calendar for the following Wednesday.
The Monday prior to our appointment, our water heater sprung a leak, so I called to see if we could add that to our appointment. Kim said that as they consider that an emergency, they would get to us within a few hours. So that Monday, they installed a great new water heater and looked at out other two projects so that when they came to visit us this morning, they had everything they needed to finish the job fast and accurately.
I understand that contractors, plumbers, electricians, and the like, struggle with scheduling, but they really took time to listen to our needs and made us feel as though we were important to them.
If I need a plumber, I would not call anyone else.

The staff at Athletico in Altoona are so wonderful! They all made sure to get to know my husband and understand his reasons for being there in order to put together the best plan to help him heal. And they always made sure to do regular weekly progress checks with him to see if anything needed to be adjusted in his treatment plan as they went along. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking for knowledgeable and kind therapists to get them through their healing process.

We love Ms. Lauren for our youngest’s speech lessons. He says that speech is his favorite and asks when he gets to go back. Considering he battles going to school yet is excited to go see her, it’s a breath of fresh air. Plus, we’re able to understand him more frequently. It’s a win win for all!

I had a good service at the time, hair dresser made sure I had happy with my cut and color before I left. The only slight concern I have is longevity of the color.
I previously had highlights and asked to go to my natural hair color (dark brown). The hair dresser, did use dark brown all over my whole head. I did notice at the time that a filler color was not placed over my blonde highlights, but I choose to trust the process.
After my first wash at home, I did notice fading where my highlights previously were, but figured my whole head would even up. I use Redkin products to wash my hair.
I have now since washed my hair 4 times since my appointment and all of my previous highlights are now visible and an uneven color. So overall, I did have a good experience at the time- just longevity of the results did not last as long as i expected.

My 1st Experience there. Was great. My Barber moved onto another career. Which was sad, But I booked with whoever was opened or had time. Deserae Osterhout was my chosen Hair stylist. She was great! Listened to me try to explain my haircut. I showed her pictures of my haircut, then she added her touch and opinion. Which was spot on. 100% recommend this place and Deserae. Also I’m sure all the stylists are just as awesome as she was.

I had a great experience! From the moment we arrived, my dog was welcomed and treated with kindness. They were able to give her a bath and were very understanding about her needs. I let them know that she doesn’t like baths and isn’t good with other dogs, and they handled everything professionally and patiently. The staff was very accommodating, even though Millie is not the best client- she tries to jump away and does NOT like having her legs or feet touched.
