“Ray is amazing 10/10 recommended. I had a huge hip surgery I had doctors recommend me doing and he has helped me thus far avoid it. I can’t believe the progress I’ve made with him in many ways. I came from Active Marin and this was 10x better. Do not hesitate to work with him“

NOW Power Yoga Yoga

“I’ve been doing yoga for about 15 yrs now and try to go when traveling in US and internationally. Some great studios out there but this is still my favorite which is great because I live locally. While slightly different approaches all the teachers are consistent with their intensity and high energy. It’s Susan’s studio so she has the following and her classes during the week are usually 6 / 8 / 9:15 am weekdays and 8 / 9:15 am weekends. Heather probably has the second biggest following and does body sculpt on Tue and Thu at noon with other power yoga classes throughout the week. Obviously refer to actual schedule but like I said all the teachers are consistent. Some things to note:* Since moving 100 ft to other side of the complex the studio is intentionally much warmer. Its power flow, not bikram, but as hot as bikram. Bring a towel and drink a lot of water even if you think you don’t sweat* Not important but interesting compared to other studios I’ve been to but 30-50%+ of the classes are made up of males. Not sure what that says but it is interesting.* Might be the only studio that has a strong following from the students and athletes from the local high schools for the 6 am and weekend classes. I don’t think I would attend a 6 am anything when I was in high school* if you are going on a holiday, especially major holidays (thanksgiving eve / day, xmas eve / day, etc.) get there early as the space fills up.* there are no bells or bowls that make ringing sounds. Studio is high energy and so is the music.Anyway, great studio with great teachers who are super welcoming no matter your level. They just want you there. Not sure why it took me so long to post ?“

Club Pilates Yoga

“I’ve had a great time so far at Club Pilates, even though I have only taken a few classes I’ve noticed a huge change in my mood & overall wellness!! My instructor Elysia & she has been so wonderful in taking time to answer questions and I’ve been enjoying the flow of her classes.

I did have a little hiccup, where I showed up to my class today 5 minutes late on the dot to a locked door & wasn’t allowed in because there is a “5 minute grace period” for being late. I explained that I was 5 minutes late the previous class which wasn’t a problem & I also wasn’t notified about said grace period… granted I know it’s on my to ensure I’m on time, so I will work on that for the future! But I do feel that this information is important to relay and to new members.“

Armando Luna Yoga Yoga

“I've been practicing yoga with Armando for 5+ years at this point. I love his vinyasa flow yoga -- it's meant for all levels, so there's lots of helpful prompts and hands-on adjustments (if you're comfortable with that), but he also gives options for extra challenges (if that's your speed). It's not "hot yoga", but he has heaters that keep the classes at a nice toasty warm temperature. Recently I've been going to the yoga wall classes. This is a unique experience. I love the feeling of inversions, and this provides a good outlet for that. Yoga poses are done against the wall, against gravity. I think I'm decent at yoga, but the classes kick my butt. It's challenging completely different muscle groups and requires a different type of strength. The classes are very diverse and inclusive. Forget any stereotypes of the typical waifish woman. In class, there's all ages, genders, body types. Particularly for the yoga wall class, I've been impressed by how there is an older/senior demographic, but I realize that everybody gets something different out of the the yoga wall classes. While I'm looking for a core-strengthening challenge, others are looking for a yoga class that takes pressure off their spines, relieve back pain, etc. On nice days, he may occasionally have his vinyasa flow class outside. (He will have updates on his Instagram/Facebook if that is the case.) My favorite routine is to go to his class on Saturday morning, and then get a bite to eat afterwards at Cafe Alma a block away. I can't say enough good things about this studio!“

“Phenomenal yoga studio. I can’t recommend it enough. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Has changed my life.I started yoga 3 months ago for the first time and attended regularly. In my first few weeks Steve and Gary went the extra mile to help me learn the poses and the breathing. I wasn’t able to do the basic poses. My head was full of thoughts and I was distracted and uncomfortable. In just 3 months Steve and Gary took me from 0 to doing the full Ashtanga primary series while relaxed and focused. Besides all of the poses I can now do (lotus, handstand, headstand, and a lot more), I leave each class feeling amazing. My body and mind feel dramatically better all throughout the day. This dramatic improvement would have been impossible without their dedicated guidance and effort.I don’t think I could have asked for a better experience. The music and vibe of the place is also amazing. Thanks so much Gary and Steve!“
