I cannot say enough good things about Anar Beauty Studio and Adinai. Adinai specializes in Russian manicures, and I am completely obsessed. I am definitely not someone who naturally has "hand model" hands, but somehow my nails always leave looking like I could be in a jewelry ad. The level of detail and precision is unreal. What I love most about Russian manicures is how long they last and how good they still look weeks later. Because of the meticulous cuticle work, the polish is applied so close to the cuticle that it takes much longer to get that obvious grown-out look you get with regular gel manicures. My friend and I literally compared nails and her 2-week-old manicure looked basically the same as my 4-week-old one. They are also incredibly durable. I have been getting Russian manicures for almost two years now, and with all my normal day-to-day activities like typing, cooking, dishes, laundry, gardening, and working out, I have not had a single chipped, broken, or split nail. Another unexpected benefit is how much healthier my hands look overall. Since I started getting Russian manicures once a month, I have not had the hangnails that used to constantly bother me. And Adinai herself is wonderful. She is sweet, kind, and a total perfectionist in the best possible way. She genuinely cares about how your nails turn out. Honestly, you should have seen the look of concern on her face when I accidentally put my thumb into the UV light at the wrong angle. She was immediately worried it would affect the shape of the builder gel. That level of care says everything. I recommend both this style of manicure and Adinai without reservation. Just know you will definitely need a reservation to see her, and she is absolutely worth planning ahead for.
Great place for those who seek to have their self care all in one place, they have hair styles, manicure, pedicure, beauticians and much more. The professionals work on their own so you need to make an appointment directly with the professional, but if you call the reception the girl tells you who is available to answer. Parking is free and they have a beautiful waiting room and it is close to Starbucks and Target also in case you don’t want to wait there. I always do my nails and my aesthetic treatment and I take the opportunity to do the eyebrows and sometimes even wash my hair too

Working with Matt and his crew was such a great experience. They came out quickly and were very thorough in estimating the work to be done and provided a quote explaining different options to accommodate our budget. They were neat and efficient and the work turned out perfectly. They even came back to re-do a cabinet that wasn't a perfect match (having used paint I supplied the first time around) at no charge. After getting 5 on-site quotes from various flooring installers, we knew we had made the right decision by hiring Aleksey and his talented crew at Elite Hardwood & Flooring. Our job consisted of pulling up rooms of old carpet as well as an old kitchen hardwood floor, and replacing it all with 3/4” engineered wood from a Canadian company called Mirage.
Elite’s quote for materials and labor was not the most expensive nor the least, but when going through our house, Aleksey thought of questions, spotted issues, AND thought of solutions that no one else had asked about or even noticed. He was also the only one who told us that he could carefully remove our elaborate wooden baseboards without breaking most or all of them. Every other place simply said we would likely need to replace it all. As a result, their pricing was actually lower than anyone else if you take into account the cost we saved by not having to replace one single piece of baseboard.
He was meticulous, measuring three times before ordering materials just to make sure he got the numbers right. Installation went smoothly and included work like grinding down areas of our foundation that were not smooth, moisture testing, coating of the slab with a moisture barrier, etc. They also made sure they installed the wood in a manner that will allow the kitchen appliances to be removed without damaging the floor, when the time comes that they need to be replaced. Again, no one else we spoke with even mentioned any of this.
There were transitions between floorings of some rooms that were at different heights. For some of the areas, Aleksey did not care for the off the shelf transitions that companies sell. Instead, he and his crew crafted their own transition pieces & thresholds that looked beautiful and did the job. Far more elegant and unintrusive. They did the same for the transitions between stone surrounding fireplaces and one bathroom. Everything was carefully thought through.
The guys showed up at 8 AM and sometimes worked until 5 or 6 pm if they were trying to get certain things done. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, polite and cleaned up after themselves. Communication with Aleksey was always good.
Elite Hardwood & Flooring is not simply an installation company. They are craftsmen that take a great deal of pride in their work and the results show it.

I am highly recommending Find a Way Construction for any project that you may have. I worked with Jose, the owner, to find a creative and economical way to repair dry rot in 2 of my wood decks. I am a retired general contractor, so I was looking for someone capable with a crew who could do things that I can no longer do. It was clear that Jose understood both structural support systems and visual appearance at the same time. His price for the work was very competitive, and his contract was clean and clear. He started work on time as agreed and his crew was talented and very easy to work with. They accommodated our need for some quiet time for conference calls without hesitation and kept the space clean and organized. The completed work went beyond my expectations for quality and quoted cost which never increased. Jose and his workers are honest, respectful, and competent which is what I look for in a contractor. I will call them again as soon as I have more work needed on my property. In all, I could not be happier with their work.

He went above and beyond, coming back to install and train me on the use of the new device.

I have recommended Dulce to everyone and just realized I’ve never given her a proper review! Dulce has been cutting my hair for 2 years and each time I leave it’s my favorite haircut I’ve ever had. I appreciate her attention to detail, the process never feels rushed. I love that she uses cruelty free products. Dulce is so kind, thoughtful and an excellent hairstylist. Arielle is so good! She's not only super friendly (and funny) and easy to communicate with and cares about your wellbeing as her client - but it was the best sugaring experience I've had. Most of the times I've done it with other people it was so painful having it done, and I'd have at least a day of bumps and irritation. With Arielle, hardly any pain (seriously, I was kind of astonished) and zero irritation afterwards. I'd highly recommend her

Tracey, gave me a facial today and she went above and beyond. She talked me through each step of routine and honestly made me very comfortable. As a person entering my 70th year I have had many homes and undergone numerous renovations. All were tolerable but full of the typical frustrations most have encountered. Until I met Eden Roc/Dan Nowell and his crew. I cannot imagine renovations being done more hassle free, and with such attention to detail. Dan has built a guest house and, later, a wine cellar for me. The first was a very substantial project. He helped find the right architect and always had sound advice for dealing with the various permitting issues. Invariably, he had excellent suggestions to make to the architect and later the decorator. They mentioned numerous times what a delight he was to deal with for them. In the same timeframe, I was heavily involved in renovation that my daughter was doing in Marin. The work was fine. It was not, however, the same flawless project experience from start to finish that I have had with Eden Roc.The construction process was perfect, even down to the (trivial?) detail of how clean the premises were left each day (we lived there during construction). Recently I moved to Yountville and had a very substantial landscaping project done. This was not a project appropriate for Eden Roc but Dan took the time to look at the landscape architect’s plans and made several absolutely key suggestions that everyone else had missed. His communication skills, his ability to work with others are simply unmatched. I cannot recommend Dan and his crew highly enough.
